I am truly baffled how the Grand Oasis can purport to be a 5-star resort. In fact, I think a 2-3-star rating would be generous. The check-in process was chaotic followed by a very long trek to the room, which necessitated carrying luggage up and down small flights of stairs due to there being no ramps in certain areas. There were two tiny, decrepit elevators for the entire hotel. Wait time for the elevator could be up to 20 minutes. The room was fine – appeared clean, toiletries in the bathroom, but fridge was not stocked well (two bottles of water, two diet cokes and a bottle of beer – random). The sliding glass door would not open so unable to use the balcony. Housekeeping was bad – room not cleaned very well, if at all, fridge not restocked. In fact, I had to go on a mission in search of diet coke. Admitting defeat, I finally walked across the street to the Pharmacia and bought some. Most disappointing, the food was bad – options and quality – however, the service was attentive and the staff very friendly. The coffee/ice cream shop was the star of the show – very good lattes. In fact, I pretty much lived off lattes and ice cream the entire week I was there. One night I did attempt to dine at one of the restaurants (Mexican) hoping it would be better; however, after sitting there for 30 minutes being completely ignored, I left and headed to the trusty coffee shop for a latte and ice cream. The pool area was nice, but very crowded without enough loungers. Bottom-line, I was actually happy to checkout and leave at the end of the week and would highly recommend you take a hard pass on this one, regardless of perceived monetary value – not worth it.

The rooms were outdated but well-kept and clean. Unfortunately, the buffet food was poor in quality, and my pregnant wife ended up with food poisoning that required a hospital visit. The restaurants were all fully booked for our entire stay—mostly reserved for Gold and Black members—so we had limited dining options.
The bars and snack bars always had long lines, and food safety seemed questionable overall. Around the pool, there was often glass, cigarette butts, and garbage, which was disappointing and unsafe.
On a positive note, the beach was very nice and well maintained. However, the resort advertises a casino that doesn’t actually exist, and the childcare/kids’ zone isn’t a shared area for parents and children as suggested.
Liquor options were all bottom-shelf, and overall this was the lowest-quality resort we’ve stayed at in this area, despite multiple previous visits to other properties nearby.

My stay at Grand Oasis Cancun was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing travel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this property is not maintained to the standards you would expect from a resort of its size or price. The room was dirty not just overlooked, but neglected with visible signs of poor cleaning and little attention to detail. Public areas weren’t much better, with trash left around and facilities that looked tired and uncared for.
But the worst part of the entire experience was the attitude of the staff. Throughout my stay, I was met with rudeness, unhelpfulness, and in several situations, outright disrespect. At times it felt as though guests were treated as a burden rather than valued customers. Basic courtesy and professionalism the bare minimum in the hospitality industry were completely absent.
What makes this even more disappointing is that a trip to Cancun should be enjoyable and memorable, but instead, this hotel left me frustrated and counting the days until I could leave. For a property that markets itself as a resort destination, the reality couldn’t be further from the glossy images and promises on its website.
I would never return to Grand Oasis Cancun and I strongly advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere. There are many hotels in the area that understand the meaning of service, cleanliness, and respect three things this place clearly does not. Your vacation time and money are far too valuable to waste on an experience as disappointing and disrespectful as this one.

The hotel experience was terrible. There are several issues worth mentioning — you pay for advertised services and promotions that simply don’t exist, such as events, parties, and a variety of food and drinks.
Restaurants:
We were unable to access the restaurants we had booked because we were told to send multiple emails in order to obtain entry — even though this was a service we had already paid for.
Breakfast, lunch, and other buffet meals were chaotic and poorly managed. Food trays were often empty, with no variety at all. At times, only leftovers stuck to the pans were available, and we had to ask staff whether more food would be brought out because there was nothing left to eat.
Customer Service:
Extremely poor. From the moment you arrive, the staff treat you rudely, and any employee you approach responds disrespectfully — including supervisors and restaurant managers.
In my personal experience, I was denied entry to a restaurant that I had access to, and the way I was treated felt discriminatory.
Hotel Services:
False advertising! The amenities and activities they promote don’t exist. At 11 p.m., they literally turn off the lights and music, and stop serving drinks — no more beverages after that hour.
There is no nightclub as advertised, no 24-hour bars, and no 24-hour food service.
If you’re looking for a festive vacation experience like the one Mexico is known for, do not come to this hotel.
Rooms:
Loud noises from running water inside the walls, flickering lights due to electrical issues, and shower water leaking everywhere.
They don’t provide soap, extra shampoo, or any additional toiletries.
Overall: Highly disappointing and not recommended at all.

If I could give this place a zero stars I would! Since I arrived at this resort I had been horrible. The customer service at check was not helpful. All they said was download app. But app services was in and out. When we ask workers for help no one spoke English nor tried to read out translator. I got to the first room it was a single bed after the girl at desk said it was a double. I had to go back down stairs and change rooms. I got to second room the bed leg was missing and bathroom was half cleaned. I called down stairs and after a while they came in to fix it. We leave to go to buffet at 6pm and the good was already cold!! The rice was crunchy and the chicken was hard. They open at 6pm!! No waiter came to our tables for drinks! The next day we went to get breakfast at about restaurant and realized it was the same. So disappointed.. I even ask for the front desk manager and he has not helpful at all!! As I looked around i saw how they treat others and treat local it was a big difference!!!
I travel alot and this is the first time I have had to experience. I have been to Cancun 4 other time and never had a horrible time.

Spent 5 days and I wish I never did. We came with a party of 7 and could not get any accommodations for any restaurant to sit together. The food was mediocre at best and when I say that I am being kind. The staff was so rude unless you tipped them but they didnt give us a reason to tip them. The only people that were nice were the ladies and gentleman at check in. The bartender Alfonso and one more at the sports bar. I have been to several all inclusive resorts and this is by far the worst one. The rooms were ok I had a nice size room with a balcony. I had no hot water in the shower but I never asked them to fix it so I can’t say if they would have. The hotel itself needs work the elevators were taking turns breaking down. The hallways sports bar and elevator were ridiculously HOT. None of the restaurants offered bottled water and i definitely suffered from it. I was sick for 3days living off Imodium and pepto. If you want to stay up past 10pm good luck only 2 bars are open and the drinks were terrible. I can just go on and on about this place. Don’t waste your money.

The staff is rude and not hospitable at all. Maybe it’s because we don’t speak Spanish. The reservations go through an app that requires you to make the reservation for dinner and then you don’t have it until they message back. Then you have to confirm reservation and if you forget then no reservation instead if just making it in the first place. The food is not very good and the choices are sparse. The only good thing I can say is our view from the room was spectacular! If you want an all inclusive that actually cares about your vacation DONT COME HERE. I could go on and on but I still need a dinner reservation.

If you stay here and do not stay in the pyramid, the rooms are stained and not as good. The pool in the main area with the children and pool bar is pretty gross. If you spend time on the resort in other areas it's nicer. When we went to one of the buffets they did not have a few things like butter for the bread. The resort overall is better nice. If you stay in the pyramid you have access to the entire resort. If you stay in the side building you do not and it affects the quality of your stay.

This hotel has lots of issues. We got the all inclusive as a promotional package, so we can't complain about the price, but our room was clearly dated and the air conditioning never cooled the room below 20 Celsius, and during the afternoon, it was hotter than that. The buffet food was mediocre and the beach wasn't all that pretty. I doubt I'll ever come back here, unless it's with our kids as it did offer several extra kid friendly pools, games, and activities

We checked out after 4 hours. Would have been two if we didn't have to argue with the staff on the phone and in person. The staff here is not nice at all. The resort is falling apart. The food is horrible. They wouldn't even give us a check out bill how do we know they will not add extra costs? Isn't every hotel supposed to check you out?

This was my second time staying at Hotel Grand Sunset Princess Cancun, and both visits were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious with plenty of restaurant options to choose from, the atmosphere was lively and fun, and the beach was beautifully clean. Everything about the stay—from service to ambiance—made it another memorable vacation. Highly recommend!

We had a morning group tennis beginners class with Jose Alfredo Alvarez that was great. It was our first time, and he did a great job teaching us all the basics with patience. It was so much fun and he is an really good teacher. He started on time and let everyone have the equal amount of time from teaching us basics to playing full games.

incredibly frustrated with my experience at this resort. I was promised a refund after checking out early, but despite multiple follow-ups, I never received it. What’s worse is that every time I contacted them, I was ignored and not responded to.
It’s extremely disappointing to be told one thing and have the resort go back on their word. I planned my trip in good faith, they agreed to a refund, so why not follow through?
This kind of behavior feels dishonest and unprofessional. I expected better from a resort that claims to offer high-end service. Sadly, it seems they’re more interested in keeping your money than keeping their promises.
I won’t be staying here again and strongly caution others to get everything in writing — or better yet, book somewhere with integrity.

I contacted the resort regarding a follow-up matter they had responded to once(on this review only), but I haven’t heard anything since. I’ve reached out multiple times with no reply.

Great Family Stay in Cancun – A Few Bumps, but Worth It!
Spent 5 days at the Seams Hotel in Cancun with the familia, and overall it was a good experience. The location is a major plus—just a short walk to the bus stops, which made it super easy to get around without needing a car. The beaches nearby? Absolutely beautiful—clear water, soft sand, postcard-worthy views.
The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food had decent variety, though I did get some indigestion from a couple of dishes—nothing major, but worth noting if you’ve got a sensitive stomach. Still, the family found something to enjoy at each meal, so no one went hungry.
All in all, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Not 5-star luxury, but solid and family-friendly. Would consider staying again, especially for the beach access and convenience.

This was a second time staying at this resort and we enjoyed every second of it! We had a fast- VIP check-in experience. Great and prompt service; staff is friendly and courteous. Beautiful amenities, amazing views, and great room services on daily basis. Many great restaurants to choose from, offering delicious specialties! Our favorite was The White Box, although the coffee place was also delightful. Resort is well kept, and we have seen many improvements since the last time we stayed here seven years ago! Entertainment was ok, Our kids enjoyed a supervised kids club, with many kids activities, and opportunity for parents to relax and enjoy adults-only amenities. The only downside was the beach area; overcrowded and lacks lounges and chairs. Rooms could also use some updates, especially pillows and showers in the bathroom.

This is not 5* hotel!! More like a 3 star.
Room wasn’t clean. Scum marks in bathroom and condensation all over patio doors.
Main buffet restaurant was same everyday and meals were only warm and not kept hot.
Pool and beach area were ok but sun beds were few and far between.
I would not come back to this hotel again. Look elsewhere if you’re thinking of booking.

My stay at Hotel Sens was a complete disappointment, especially for families with children. Despite being advertised as family-friendly, the hotel was overcrowded, with a packed pool that was unusable. By 5 PM, intoxicated guests created an unsafe, party-like atmosphere—hardly suitable for kids. The all-inclusive dining was a nightmare: long queues, no available restaurant reservations, and we were forced to pay 1800 pesos for a seafood grill just to eat. The rooms were unclean, with sticky beds, adding to the discomfort. We left after one night. This hotel does not deliver on its promises, and I strongly advise families to look elsewhere. Management needs to address these issues and stop misleading guests about the family-friendly experience.

During my stay, I had the pleasure of meeting Fernando from the POP team, and he has been incredibly friendly since day one! I’ve joined several of his activities, including the workout and jumping classes on previous days, and they were amazing — he’s such a great coach, full of energy and patience.
Today we had another nice chat, and he kindly invited us to the evening activities. I really hope to see him again on my next visit!
Also, I’d like to mention Gerardo, our waiter, who provided excellent service every day. He was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We were lucky enough to be looked after by Diego around the pool during our stay, and he was absolutely amazing! He kept our drinks topped up all day without us ever having to ask, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
What really made a difference was his friendly personality — he always had a laugh and a chat with us, which made us feel so welcome and really added to our holiday. Diego’s great attitude and attention to detail made our time by the pool extra special.
He is an asset to the Grand Palladium!

The resort is beautiful and easy to get around, with lots of nature and friendly wildlife — just watch your snacks by the pool, those Coatis and Iguanas are sneaky!
Rooms were nice but could use a little refurbishment, there were some already undergoing maintenance which is good.
Food wasn’t anything fancy but was tasty.
Big shoutout to Javier at the egg station – always friendly and fast!
And Carlos from the POP team made every day more fun with his energy. “Aqua Gym” became our group’s inside joke, and he even gave my wife a T-shirt for joining in the activities. We will get that photo we promised!
The adult pool is a great hidden gem for those looking for a quiet spot and the gym was fully equipped, the photos we found did not make it justice.
Overall, friendly staff and a relaxing week — we’d definitely come back!

It was rain season when I went (mid-October), so part of this is on me for booking during that time. The mosquitoes were crazy, I had over 40 bites, even on my face! Aside from constantly being itchy and annoyed by the bugs, the trip overall was still good.
The food was okay, both at the buffet and à la carte. I often stuck to bread when I got bored of tacos. Be careful if you have allergies, some dishes were mislabeled (chicken labeled as pork and vice versa).
Staff were super friendly but a bit slow when it came to cleaning tables or bringing coffee. I wish they offered self-serve coffee/tea in the mornings.
The resort is surrounded by lagoon areas and stagnant water, which sometimes gave off a bad smell when walking to the buffet and probably added to the mosquito problem. It was also hard to get US change, so bring smaller bills.
The resort felt safe, the beach party was great, and the beach was nice but rockier in the “white sands” area compared to Colonial Beach. The place is huge, so expect lots of walking or waiting for golf carts at certain times.
Overall, it’s a nice resort but I’d recommend going outside of October for a much better experience!

We went there for a casual holiday. Rooms were okay, however the first couple of days we had issues. The bathroom door were jammed, which has been sorted out on the second day of our stay. Then the door lock opening device packed up, this has been rectified instantly. We had one day when there was no cleaning service. Other than that the room was nice, clean and tidy. Pleasant enough.
The facilities - bars were great! Plenty of drinks and good staff!
The restaurants were excellent! However due to high demand, it is kind of difficult to get reservation in certain Al carte restaurants.
Some things are indeed missing from the website, for example certain areas of the resort are off limits.
Food was very nice, waiters and waitresses were brilliant.

We had such a great stay at The Fives Oceanfront! The hotel itself was lovely — clean, calm, and full of good vibes — but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff.
From the moment we arrived, Eli at reception made us feel welcome and taken care of. At the bar, Fidel, Victor, Karen, Yair, and Haber went above and beyond every single day — friendly, fun, and always ready with a smile (and the best drinks!). And in the dining room, Elvis and Yoe were amazing — kind, attentive, and made every meal feel special.
They all made us feel more like friends than guests. My only small wish would be for more seafood options on the off-season dinner menu — but otherwise, everything was wonderful. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already wanting to come back.

The staff at this resort is amazing. We paid for bed and breakfast only so we could enjoy local restaurants. So the 'mini-bar' which is stuff in the fridge is only for all inclusive including dinner. There is a kitchen but no dishes or cups, these are extra. Our bed was pretty firm. Our room on the 4th floor had daily noise above that sounded like furniture dragging across the floor. We were there 5 nights, no enjoying the room in the heat of the day. We called twice about it and were told no remodeling going on. If you get a courtyard room, it is noisy from the pool. It opens at 7am but kids were in the pool at 6:30am.
The location is good if you plan staying at the resort. It's quite a walk to The Square, but we did it several times. We only had the breakfast which was ok...it's breakfast.

Abraham at the Al Mare restaurant was the best!!! He provided excellent service every visit! Even when he wasn't or server💗 the resort itself is nice, I wish there was more shade at the adults pool as I am very very pale 🤣 also wish there was some type of entertainment but we did go during the off season so no big shock there. One other note (that is not the hotels fault at all) it is quite smelly all around the hotel due to the seaweed!!! So be prepared. Our ambassador Valeria was very helpful I really appreciate all she did!

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. From the moment I checked in, Eli the guy at the check in was super friendly, informative and helpful. The staff in the restaurants like Yoe, Fernando, Hair, Abraham, Gabriel, Joseph delivered nothing but perfect service everyday, every meal.

First time in Mexico and definitely not the last because of your entire staff. Puerto Morelos great and a beautiful contrast to the manicness of Cancun, if you fancy a truly relaxing vacation. This hotel is a beautiful oasis of tranquility and beauty. I will definitely come back and stay here.

The property exceeded my expectations from start to finish! The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and relaxation. The location is convenient for excursions off the resort but still feels private and peaceful once you return. We were taken to the wrong room at first and it wasn’t ready, looked like they were maybe renovating it, mattress thrown etc so we had to be moved to a different room away from our group. Not really any beach to enjoy.
The hotel itself was nice and the buffet was probably one of the best we have had so far. Good entertainment at the pool and lots to do in the evening. For the price we paid, expected better and more kind of luxury as we have travelled to cheaper resorts that seemed much nicer.

I stayed at this hotel last week. The most wonderful hotel I ever stayed at. 1st, the bellman Javier was great with luggage and very nice. He was so funny. The lobby smelled like flowers. The pools were pristine. Crystal clear at all times. The entertainment was the best. Christopher was exceptional. We went over to sister bar 3 times for dinner. Great food mama Mia. The only complaint I had was only 1 restraint and buffet were open for dinner. 1 restaurant was never open. The drinks were very good and kept on coming. I can't wait to go back. This Javier bellman for making my stay worth it.

Our overall experience was excellent! There was only 2 issues during our stay: 1. Some much mosquitoes, I got bitten at least 20times, even inside the restaurants.. the hotel should have better pest control. 2. No hot water whenever I want to shower, I understand there are rush hours like when everyone is back from the pool and needed a shower, but there are days I woke in the morning wanting to get shower at 7-8am and there's no hot water! Other than that everything was perfect! The food was amazing! Many drink options, some reviews says it's water down but I think it's just perfect for me. The staffs was friendly, room was clean.

Not sure why this resort only has a 4.2 on google, it was beyond my expectations. Massive rooms, amazing service, fun pool bars but also quieter areas to enjoy in the pool, room service is 24/7, daily house keeping etc. The buffet was the best I’ve ever had in Mexico. Every single meal was delicious. We didn’t care for the other restaurants because the buffet was that good.
A few cons within control of the resort is the rooms AC cannot be set below 22C, this left our room feeling a bit muggy
The shower water temperature doesn’t get very hot but it was fine. Overall, it’s an incredibly beautiful resort and very much so felt like a 5 star vacation.

Casa de Rosa Dinner Experience
From start to finish, everything about our visit was amazing. Fatima and Lea were the most wonderful hosts. They were warm, knowledgeable, and so much fun to be around. The liquor tasting was such a unique touch, and learning about the local flavors made the experience even richer.
Cooking dinner together was a highlight as the ingredients were fresh, the atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, and the food turned out absolutely delicious. Sitting down afterward to enjoy the meal we had just prepared felt so special.
If you’re looking for an authentic, hands-on experience with incredible food and even better company, Casa de Rose is a must. Highly recommend!

Just had the most wonderful family vacation at The Fives! We have 2 young children, ages 2 and 6, and they had a blast the entire time.
First the Kids Club is amazing. Karla, Laura and Carolina are so great with children. From the many crafts and activities during the day (treasure hunt, Halloween tshirt painting, pool party) to the face painting and mini disco at night my 6 year old did not want to leave! We have been to other AIs where she didn’t really want to go but this one she kept asking to return everyday!
Food is also really good overall. Lunch offerings around the infinity pool and beach are plentiful. We enjoyed eating at the taco place by the infinity pool. Patrick, the bartender there is so nice! My husband and I both like horchata and tamarindo agua fresca and he made it a point to make it for us! Maria at the smoothie bar was also very kind and made amazing juices and smoothies. The a la carte restaurants at night were all very good. We never had to wait for dinner but we also eat early around 6pm each night. There was also live music every night after dinner in the main plaza.
Overall a great family resort! We were all sad to leave!

Casa de Rosa is an wonderful experience I'd highly recommend. We had a group of 16 and everyone shared how much they enjoyed the evening. A night filled with education and tastings of tequilas and mezcals, fun games to get everyone laughing and interacting, and the cooking lessons for authentic Mexican dishes. The abundance of food was unbelievable! And absolutely delicious! And Rosa was a delight! She was humorous, thoughtful, kept everyone engaged, making sure we were having fun, laughing and bellies full.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Fives Beach Hotel – A Perfect Family Getaway!
My wife and I have been avid travelers long before we had our son, and we’ve stayed at many great resorts — The Fives Beach Hotel truly stands out for the quality of the entire experience.
There are tons of pools (never crowded!), beautiful views, and plenty of excellent restaurants to choose from. We visited in late October and lucked out with perfect weather — barely any rain. Our 3-year-old had an absolute blast! There’s so much for kids to do here that he never once got bored.
What really sets this resort apart is the food. Every restaurant offers something unique and delicious. My wife and I are very picky eaters! Our favorite was The Brasserie — you have to try the steak! For lunch, the Ceviche Campeche at Sea and Olive by the pool was incredible, and the beachside tacos made fresh daily with house-made tortillas were phenomenal — just like home cooking.
Heads up, there’s no theater like center, but there are plenty of live shows and dancing events in the evening.
The service was also exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to help.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

The resort is small but very clean, and I loved that the rooms were cleaned twice a day. The pool and pool party was fun, but with no beach access and very few activities, it felt a little boring at times. Food options were limited — one breakfast buffet, two fine dining restaurants, a Mexican lunch spot, and a sports bar that stops serving at 9:30 PM. Some staff also weren’t as friendly or welcoming as I’ve experienced at other resorts. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I’d probably try a different resort next time.

We wanted an all inclusive resort that was roughly 30 minutes from airport, adults only, and had beach/sand volleyball available. We were a little reluctant in selecting this resort over the other due to not having a beach.. however since it clearly showed a sand volleyball court on the resort and said volleyball in the activities description ..we went with it.
Get here and to our surprise the sand volleyball court was removed. Not sure how long it's been gone, but they really need to take a few minutes and update their info on the site. It may seem silly to some.. but this was a big disappointment for us. We requested a transfer to the other (non-adult only) Margaritaville that actually has a beach. So far we have been told there is no availability.. which honestly is hard to believe. We even asked about just getting day passes. They still would not accommodate unless we paid ~$160 a person. (?!) That doesn't make any sense. We already paid. ..what difference does it make. You'd think they would want to make it right and salvage our impression in some way. I'm sorry to say..but we regret picking this resort and should have booked at a place where we have stayed before that we knew checked all the boxes except for being further from the airport. If I could have done it over again, I would have booked at El Dorado Seaside Palms. Just thought it would be worth trying something different.
Aside from all that we'll admit the service and food has been pretty decent. It's just unfortunate they are not willing to make things right when our expectations were not met based on what was described /advertised. We are here for another few days and we'll make the best of it I suppose, but it's very likely we won't be returning to this resort.

We cannot say enough positive things about this resort. Immaculately clean, delicious food and unbelievable staff. Frank and Lola’s wood fire pizza and calamari blew us away, as did the beef tenderloin at JWB Steakhouse. I did not miss the beach at all. It was a chill getaway with some of the best coffee ever at a resort. Made to order. The Joe Merchant store was a lot of fun and a great away to customize our nightly treats. Shout out to Noel, Luis, Victor, Gabino and Erik. You made the time very special! We will see you again! (Another major plus is the closeness to the airport. You can start your vacation right away!)

We’ve traveled to numerous states to experience the Margaritaville Resorts and absolutely loved Island Reserve! Service was amazing, especially by Erick at the Boathouse. Even when he was not our waiter, he went out of his way to say hi to our family everyday. Even giving out high-fives, fist bumps, or escorting us to our table. He’s truly amazing! We also loved Gabriel from Frank and Lola’s! He was always saying hi and making sure our dining experience was top notch! And huge shoutout to Christian at the SOS pool bar! My drinks were never empty and he always provided the best recommendations! Overall, we loved our week long vacation and can’t wait to return!

Only negative is that I didn’t know they do not have a beach ! It was washed away in a hurricane a year ago.
Don’t get a room beside or under the gym on the 5th floor, it is noisy…. Esp if people work out at 5-6am you can hear weights slamming down.
Overall a great vacation.

I booked over a month in advance, called and emailed to make sure to get a room with private bathroom and 2 beds. Still they put us into some kind of honeymoon eyeswideshut 1 bed and a clear glass bathroom. Then they basically laughed at us and offered us a complimentary romantic dinner or a couples massage. We are not a couple. Not happy. At least the drinks are good, the food has been only okay so far but I think the restaurants we haven't tried yet will be better. All the staff have been nice and helpful except Sergio at the front desk. Hopefully he can do something for us. It would have been nice if there was an easy shuttle or something to PDC.

We have had the most perfect vacation to El Dorado Royale. We are still here for 3 and a half more days but I already feel I should leave a review with the positive experience we've had. The staff is beyond helpful. From Teresa in housekeeping, the servers in the restaurants (Ramon!), the spa staff Roberto and massage therapist Juan, and I especially must commend our personal Butler Paula. Paula has been the best butler I've had yet at Royale, and she should be rewarded for the amount she improves her guests experiences. Every request big or small, she accommodated and left us with zero worries during our stay. A good butler really improves the experience and Paula has exactly what it takes.
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We've had a perfect vacation. Thank you everyone whose made it so enjoyable!

During our time, there were a few things that happened that did not meet our expectations during our stay.
We were not given a schedule of activities upon arrival and had to question numerous people to figure out what to do the day of our arrival. There weren't many people who were willing to provide us a schedule or let us know what activities were available. So we didn't feel like we got as much out of our first day as we could have.
The pool had an abnormal amount of bugs in it and white debris in it that looked like disintegrating toilet paper. The pool was full of it, and many people we spoke to commented on it. It made us uncomfortable to be in the pool.
Someone must have vomited in the stairwell of our building. When I called the front desk to have someone clean it up, I was transferred numerous times and hung up on. Housekeeping cleaned rooms but kept walking past the pile for a full day. The next day, there were two piles of vomit and a pile of feces in the same hallway. It wasn't until we told our personal concierge about it that anyone did anything to clean up the area.
There were dirty cups in our hallway on the first day we arrived that were still there when we left, that housekeeping never cleaned.
Note, also while it says it is an adults only resort, it is connected to a resort with children. To enjoy about 50% of the restaurants included in your package, you’ll need to go over to the side with children. Not the greatest experience if you don’t enjoy screaming children jumping restaurants. The included activities off the resort are also not adult-only. We enjoyed the catamaran trip, but didn’t enjoy getting kicked by the children during the snorkeling portion. Just something to be prepared for as we truly thought it would be adult only the whole time.

Went there for a family reunion and loved every second. We were all inclusive which worked out to be great value. Well designed and maintained resort with great views and lots of ways to unwind. The restaurant selection was great, we especially enjoyed the Italian. Staff were all impeccable and provided top grade service. Would definitely love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay and your resort exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly, food was amazing, ample activities, was not crowded in late July, the property is beautiful. The only thing that could be helpful is more signs along the main walking paths. Some restaurants were hard to find. We enjoyed walking everywhere rather than taking the golf carts. We love that you have your own greenhouses and grow herbs and produce, that the ranch takes such good care of the horses, we loved the wildlife, appreciated the tender care of the sea turtle eggs. We definitely want to come back and bring friends, and a trip to generations with our children.

We had a fantastic time at this resort with so many amenities. The only downside was the hotel needed maintenance and the food wasn't as great as expected. There were lots of food options though, so you can find something you like (be sure to book the italian or asian!). The beach was great with so many belly beds (wish we brought snorkel stuff) but the pool was the star! Luiana and Benjamin were so entertaining! We spent a great week here and, even being in our 30s thinking beforehand that this would be more for mature adults, found that the nightlife and atmosphere were inclusive and diverse.. so fun meeting new friends! My other note would be that there was a bit of selling. We did the presentation and liked the offer but declined as it felt a little pushy, but worth it for the free gifts. We loved our swim out room on the Seaside Suites side (you have access to the Palms resort next door too-super close to walk) and the service was incredible from the entertainers to the maids, plus room service and golf cart shuttle rides! I would definitely come back. Thanks for a great anniversary trip and our surprise!

Had a wonderful vacation with a group of friends at El Dorado Seaside Suites. Service was excellent all around. Room service was meticulous and always providing fresh towels and doing the little things to make the room comfortable. They decorated our bed with flowers to celebrate our wedding anniversary ❤️. All staff, no matter where you met them, went out of their way to say hello. The resort does a top notch job in maintenance and upkeep of the resort - eg. sweeping ponded water after rain. Our butlers (Anna and Enrique) always looked to for us and found us every day to ensure our needs were met and to even provide suggestions. Special shoutout to Andrea for wonderful yoga, aquafit and dance classes. It is clear that she loves her job and connecting with her clients to ensure her classes fit their needs. The fitness facility and had lots of dumbbells, Olympic Bar, squat rack, and even a pull up bar. Would have loved to have had access to a rower or echobike. The day excursions to the tequila tasting and Maroma beach and catamaran were a good time.

One of our favorite resorts to visit in the riviera maya area! We love the romantic feel as the resort is on the smaller side compared to some of their sister resorts but we love the intimate feel! The staff is so kind, happy to help and feels like family! Anselmo was one of my favorite waiters and each day we got him serving us at breakfast or lunch was always extra special! The spa is one of our favorites and we always enjoy the hydrotherapy. We also enjoyed our butler Carlos and our other butler Edith! They had all of our dinners and special activities scheduled and taken care of as well as daily breakfast requests. We also really enjoy the daily resort activities and staff Luana and Benjamin were so much fun and such a joy to experience each day! Typically there’s more activities/events and even they bring in vendors to shop from one of the days of the week in the evening but that didn’t happen this trip… Maybe because a lot of the nights it was stormy but that’s no one’s fault besides Mother Nature! All in all, a really great time! The tortellini at Mia Casa is one of my favorites and you can’t go wrong with the sushi or orange chicken at KlayTalaay! My only complaint the whole trip was the main pool at seaside suites bartender Carlos David. For some reason he continually had an attitude. Not sure if it was at me or other guests … or that the guests were intermingling making friends and ordering shots -- either way … I was not impressed with pool bar boy Carlos David as he was rude multiple times on multiple occasions and even at one point asked me to stop speaking Spanish and just speak English — which I found to be extremely rude considering everyone else on the resort was impressed with my Spanish, and complimented me many times how nice it was someone coming in and being able to speak their language so maybe Carlos David was having a bad day or two — but that’s where he should learn that we choose our job. If he’s not happy serving the public, go pick up trash or work in the back somewhere where you don’t have to speak to or deal with guests but that’s just my advice as a girl that’s waitressed 15 years myself 🤷🏽♀️😵💫🫣🥰

We love our time here, this is our 3rd time at Seaside Suites. From the time we arrived - Jose took care of our luggage and got us settled in. Check in was quick and easy. The room 6605 was great and your staff for housekeeping, turn down service and beverage people took great care of us. We love our swim out and the view is amazing.
Alva was our concierge and she is the best - got us what we needed and even a little extra special touch. We love the pools and the beaches there and your staff are amazing. Veronica is awesome at the beach, Cumi and Alejandro at your pool bars are great bartenders, Alicia is also wonderful. Maria was our activities person and she went out of her way to play games at the pools with us and taught us a little salsa as well. We had fun with Anna at Mezcalito each night we were there.
Meals were fantastic, we love breakfast at La Sandwichiere and sitting on the palapah looking at the ocean. The Pub has great food, Klay Talay is also one of our favorites. Shout out to Alejandro "Chivo" at the Pub as he is the best. Emiliano at Klay Talay is an amazing server and our dinner on the beach was very special - thank you Rubicell and Jose for all their amazing work to make that special.
Your staff are very friendly and we love our walks on your property and we had an amazing time there - we hope to come back sometime soon.

We stayed at both the Suites and the Palms. I preferred the Suites because we were on the top floor, with a gorgeous view and a really nice room. We also stayed in a Jr Swim Up suite at the Palms.
The positives:

The swim up suites are great! I loved being in the water whenever I wanted to be.
Plenty to do if you want to.
The catamaran tour and Maroma beach day (much better beach)
Negatives
-There is no accessible beach at the Suites. The beach at the Palms is pretty but not good for swimming. If you go all the way to the end, it's less rocky but still too shallow.
-We were there in the off season but figuring out dinner should have been easier. We were never sure what was open (the "app" was not correct and the sign at one pool wasn't either). If you didn't get in by 6:45, there was a 45-90 minute wait. Many restaurants were closed so it seemed if one more was open, this could have been easier. We are actually happy to be home in our own kitchen!
-The Palms rooms are very dimly lit and outdated. Our phone didn't work, which made it impossible to order room service or call the front desk.
Overall we enjoyed our trip but we will not be back.

Just returned from a fantastic time at Hard Rock Riviera Maya.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed we received excellent service from Naef & Gabriel who both went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was the best it could possibly be.
All staff we interacted with were very polite and professional.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The room staff were very attentive each day. You could see that works were being done to make improvements around the resort but these did not interrupt our stay at all.
All restaurants we tried were great with a good choice of dishes. Our personal favourite was Zen.
Spent most of our time at the main pool which was always clean with activities throughout the day which were great.
Would definitely visit Hard Rock Riviera Maya again!

My husband came to the Hard Rock and stayed at Heavan, the adult only part of the resort for our 19th wedding anniversary. Other than a few hiccups with our room we had a fabulous time. The place was beautiful and the food was amazing. The service was out of this world. There are a few I would like to mention that made our stay extra special. First and for most , our butlers, Moise and Paola, were over the top with their excellent attentiveness to all our needs and or wants. Their attention to detail and their excellent service. They made our anniversary super special and went way above and beyond to help us celebrate our special day. We left there with not only friends but now family. If I could rate my experience 100 stars I would. My butlers Neaf and Gabriel were nothing short of amazing. They planned everyday for us from start to finish. Neaf went above and beyond and helped me plan the most amazing engagement for my now Fiancé. He will forever be apart of our story. An Unforgettable Family Vacation to Hard Rock Riviera Maya
My family and I just returned from a highly anticipated vacation at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya, where relatives from Scotland and the US met. It was a trip we had looked forward to for a long time, and I am so grateful to the staff for making it an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish.
With 8 adults and 4 children ranging from 2 to 12, keeping everyone entertained and happy was a top priority. Hard Rock Riviera Maya exceeded our expectations. For our entire trip, we never heard anyone say they were bored, which is a testament to the sheer variety of activities and facilities on offer. Other than all day at the pool, we also did bowling and Escape Room activities in the evening within the resort.
I especially appreciated the several pool options. With everything from adults-only areas for the grown-ups to a splash park for our youngest and a full-sized waterpark for our pre-teens, there was a perfect spot for every member of our family.
The constant shuttle service between the two lobbies was a fantastic and much-appreciated convenience. It made it easy to get around the large property, especially when our feet were tired.
The team’s pre-arrival communication was seamless, and their service throughout our entire stay was impeccable.
I want to give special recognition to Naef and Gabriel, who made our check-in and check-out a breeze, even when our family arrived in late evening. They took care of every detail, from dinner reservations to pool and Bali bed arrangements. Their amazing service included arranging a surprise beachfront taco and fajita meal and a birthday cake for a family member.
Another huge shout-out goes to Alicia, who created a truly memorable firepit experience for our kids.
The service and cuisine at the restaurants were outstanding:
- At Zen, the team, especially Marissa, Alejandro, and Florencio, made the kids' first Tepanyaki experience unforgettable.
- At Wai, Pedro and Miguel provided wonderful service and recommendations for our delicious meals.
- At Faro, Mac and Francisco consistently greeted us with warm smiles every morning, ensuring we started each day of our vacation right with an incredible ocean view breakfast.
Our glasses were never empty at the Eden pool, thanks to David, who provided friendly and attentive service throughout the day.
And of course, a big thank you to the entire Entertainment Team.
We thoroughly enjoyed the shows after dinner and all the fun activities they put on by the pool.
This was a truly memorable vacation, and every one of these team members played a huge part in it. Thank you, HRRM team. We can't wait to come back

Wow! I absolutely recommend this Resort if you're looking for a relaxing luxury adults vacation!!! It can also be a very romantic vacation. The the number one reason why we return to this Resort is the high level of service and how gracious the staff are to the guests! They truly do make you feel very welcome and like they are happy to help you. It's such a rare thing anymore.
The beds are comfortable in the air conditioning works well, the scenery is so tropical and beautiful. The drinks are very tasty,fresh and they do offer top shelf liquors. There are so many restaurants to choose from and we never had a bad meal! They even give you access to their three adjoining resorts, those three are family-friendly but those folks can't bring children to the TRS adult only area, this truly is an adult-only Resort with pools for just adults, restaurants and bars. I highly recommend folks attend the Chic cabaret show, it's extremely entertaining, it's one of the few things that cost extra but it's definitely worth it and it would probably be 3 to 5 times the cost if it was offered in a major city in the US. I just want to mention a few standout employees that we encountered. The waitress Martha at Helios restaurant gave us incredible service at breakfast and lunch! She's one of the best waitresses I've ever experienced in my life! The concierge Fernanda always made sure all the guests had an exceptional experience. Abraham Pat was our waiter at Chic cabaret and Chic Bingo and he wowed us with his service as well! We are definitely coming back again next year and I'm bringing my parents as well!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful at this resort. It’s been such a relaxing, joyful honeymoon. Something that really stood out to us was Luis Gerardo and his excellent service. We felt right at home with his care and hospitality at both the beach and at the pool later in our stay. Truly, he made our trip special.

We stayed at TRS for our honeymoon and had the most romantic, fun and relaxing trip!
Seamless checkin, with Kelly and Natalia (PTC). We stayed in the romantic bungalows, the initial one we were placed in was facing the other villas and we wanted something facing the trees, we asked and there was no issues with the switch!
Our butlers Eric and Patricia were amazing, any questions or things we needed they always had it covered! Everything was clean and comfortable! The food around the entire resort was incredible! We did not have any bad food the entire week were there. Need to make reservations for dinner but our butlers handled that! We gave them a list of places we wanted to try and they plotted it all into our week for us.
We even received special tables with rose petals and notes and gifts because it was our honeymoon! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special and enjoyable.
The Mayan tour by Alejandra was great! The authentic tacos at the end was a highlight.
Bar Gaia, absolutely incredible! Especially Luis Blume and Enrique Uc and Francesco Che. So fun and always ready to make whatever drink you want or surprise you with some tasty new ones your haven’t tried yet!

Bingo and Chic are an absolute must! The entertainment and dancers are phenomenal!
The infinity pool was probably our favourite pool, relaxing, fun and easy access to drinks and food.
The beach isn’t very large but the sand is so soft and lots of place to swim, just look out for the rocks.
Overall, this resort was everything and more! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful.

4th stay to the Grand Palladium, 1st stay at TRS. Cannot wait to come back to TRS. The service and amenities are fabulous. A cart was always there for us if we need one. The TRS pools are fantastic, with great bars for food and drinks, and wonderful bartenders and servers. Plus, we got to watch 3 weddings from the Travel Club pool area. I do not remember the bartender at Los Rocas, but he made my walk back to the villa a whole lot better with tequila shots and margaritas!! All of the restaurants have wonderful menus with a good selection of food for everyone to enjoy. Oscar at El Gaucho was top notch and just fun to have as a server. Though not TRS, I want to mention that the redo of the White Sands pool is perfect. My wife is 5'1" and she loved being able to walk the entire pool without a float. We lucked out with no seaweed at the beach the whole week we were there and the water was really clear for snorkeling. Go play Bingo at Chic. It was a lot of fun, with cool prizes. Dare to be wrong on Bingo...you might like the penalties. Not that this should be the last thing I mention, but the Villas butlers are the most valuable resource that TRS offers. The information and assistance they offer cannot be measured. Our trip was so much better due to Maggie and Alexis at Villa 60.

This resort is very nice with beautiful white sand beaches. Service is spectacular whether while dining, at the pools, or on the beach. It is surrounded by beautiful vegetation with palm trees and lush jungle areas. Even on overcast days it is still paradise! And the entertainment is beautiful and fun. I didn’t take an abundance of pictures because I was just living in the moment. I stayed a full week and would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres! The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, and the service really made our trip special. The buffet was okay — plenty of options, but nothing that stood out too much. However, the fine dining restaurants were excellent — every meal felt like a true dining experience.
A special shoutout to Jose Garcia, our beach server, who went above and beyond every single day. He was friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. His service made our time on the beach even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was a fantastic vacation, and we would definitely recommend Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres to anyone looking for a relaxing, upscale getaway!

I think this may be common with most all-iclusives, but the whole experience was just meh to us. You’re kind of stuck on the property, spacious and lovely as it may be, eating mid (at best) food and enjoying the same beach and pool for days on end. I found it rather boring, and the coolest parts of the trip by far were when we ventured off the resort. They could stand to have more to do there, but I guess if you’re plan is to chill out on the beach in sweltering humidity for three or four days then it’s probably 10/10.
My main issue was the food. Honestly it was not good. The “McJestic” fast food served nothing good. The Mexican restaurant might’ve been great; I wouldn’t know because we left after 40 minutes and not even seeing our drinks. The buffet was decent for breakfast, mainly because of the bread and pastries though. The 24-hour room service offerings? Once was a no-show, next time was ok, and the third time was undercooked, inedible frozen pizza. I was just hoping for more, considering the money we spent. 5/10 would not recommend.

Excellente experience!! This is my second time in this hotel, food has been great in the restaurants. There are 2 restaurants with reseravation needed (tepanyaki and french), every other restaurants are walk-in with a short line (8 pm). Restaurants have high quality food and were great experiences. The beach buttler was amazing, very attentive and with our favorite beers/drinks without even asking, CAUICH(beach buttler) made a very considerable difference for our experience. It is a hotel with some activities and shows, not a lot of heavy drinking and partying, everybody is relaxing and having a good time. The only thing that has changed was the alcohol quality, not a lot of rum options and mezcal bottles that I didn't recognize (maybe they are good). Some of the beers are specific for some bars and not in every bar which I think is odd. The consierge from our room was also very nice and helped us get a couple of bottles for a our room. I was in a swim up, the room is very spacious, nice decor and has an indoor bathtub. One bad thing is the toilet height (very tall). Service was almost always excellent, some bartenders expect a tip just to smile.

We just got here today but we already absolutely love this resort. Everyone has been amazing. Jesus, waited on us in the steak house and he was super attentive, we were in a bit of a rush to make it to the show and he made sure he got everything out to us super quick which we really appreciated. Super kind too! His recommendation were great! We also had fantastic service in the spa. From the check in to the hydro therapy to the massages by Cinthia & Aracelis. Our oceanfront room is stunning! We’re super happy! Totally recommend!

Food was great, staff was great and everything was great! One thing I hate is people to lie!!! You check in and then they offer you massages upgrades on the room and other things. My friend and I decided to get massages and of course use some point credits well you can only use 100 credits and they tell you a price, but once you check out they throw in service fees that they don't tell you about. Watch out and make sure you get copies of the amount they quote you. If not all kinds of service fees will be thrown at you. That's the only distasteful thing about the resort.

The stay was truly amazing, great waiters/waitresses, great food selection and the views are great.. I have to give this resort a ⭐️ due to the trust & confidence I’ve lost in the safety of leaving items in the room..
The way the situation was handled by the public relations manager onsite on October 8, 2025 was purely unprofessional. I could not speak with a General Manager on site about the situation. This truly made me feel as if I’m lying about what was missing. I remained cordial, respectful during the process..
The internal “investigation” was never properly updated nor closed with me personally prior to my departure which meant that it was conducted for customer appeasement and at the end, it was truly unprofessional for these actions to occur. It was offered to contact the local police authorities.. However, I put my trust and confidence that the managers of this resort will due it’s diligence in this case to rectify this issue.
As of October 10, 2025, No one has verbally contacted myself personally to close out the investigation properly as E-responses are written on this review about what was offered which again, is truly professional.
I solicit to future travelers, please be cognizant of your stay. I am not writing this review out of anger, just expressing my experience.. At this time, I will not recommend this resort.

So honestly I liked this place except for the pricing of amenities..... I am a some what of a world traveler so I feel I can justify my comment... it's .54centUSD to 1 peso, so why on earth are you charging 394 dollars usd for a massage!!! The pricing is extremely outrageous!!! I have been to "high class " locations around the world and they didn't even charge that much ! The service was good but not that great for the price. And let's not get started in the "hotel credit " I booked and my hotel credit was $750 usd" but when I got there they try to say it was only $250. After that mix was cleared (the next day) they then tell you how you can spend your credit!! They also try to trick you into coming to a time share meeting!! I liked everything up until that part ..when I arrived I had $250 spa credit after they realized I had $750 hotel credit they marked it down to $150.. they tell you how you can spend your credit...they really still want you to spend additional money so be prepared for that!! Do not do it none of it is worth it honestly it's supposed to be all inclusive but the charge is extreme even more so than in the states!! Nothing in this place is worth the additional cost !! Pay your $1600 to them enjoy it and that's it.. do not give this place another dime!! They are not honest and there is a hidden or additional fee to everything here!!

I recently stayed at this 5-star resort for my honeymoon, and I have to say, it was a huge disappointment. The resort promises 5 stars, but in reality, it's far from it. The prices are seriously overpriced for what you get.
The only good thing about this resort was the dinner reservation restaurants. We had a good experience dining at them. However, that's about where the positives end.
From the moment we arrived, the service was terrible. We felt like we were treated unfairly compared to older couples - they got help with luggage and a resort tour, but we didn't.
We had booked a honeymoon suite, but the front desk guy, Abraham, gave us a dirty room with no view on the outskirts of the resort. When I complained, he didn't call his supervisor as requested and instead gave us another room, but not the one we paid for. To make matters worse, our room had constant alarm disruptions past midnight, and we had no privacy. We felt harassed.
What's even more frustrating is that Abraham offered to upgrade us to a bigger suite at check-in, but it wasn't free. He wanted to upsell us when we had already paid a lot for our vacation.
The food was a letdown too. At the buffet, staff rarely checked in on us or offered drinks. We had to ask just to receive water. The pool lunch area was slightly better, but overall, the experience was still not great.
The resort itself was not well-maintained - dirty interior, dirty glass doors, and not enough seating. The beach was closed due to seaweed, that’s that we went towards the end of June. and there weren't enough entertainment options. The ambiance was completely lacking.
Overall, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Save your money and choose another resort to stay at. Our honeymoon was a very unsatisfactory and unhappy experience because of this resort."

We had a great time at Playacar Palace for our honeymoon. The staff were all very friendly, attentive, and helpful. We arrived slightly early and before we even checked in, we were offered cake and drinks and some time to relax in very welcome air conditioning. The restaurants were each unique and impressive experiences, and they accommodated dietary needs well. Our room was well cleaned and the room service was well appreciated, though it would have been nice to have some more non-alcoholic options in the minibar. Our favorite server was Israel, who did an outstanding job at attending to our table (and should honestly get a promotion). The pool has lots of activities to enjoy, making the beach optional when there is seaweed which is cleaned regularly but kept being brought in by the waves. The location is ideal for going on the ferry to cozumel or visiting playa del carmen, and parking was available with a valet service. We highly recommend!

This is a huge resort. It is very picturesque and pleasing to the eye. Initial impression was enticing and provoked curiosity.
My favorite experiences were the karaoke room, the spa and the adult pool. This resort has a lot to offer. Several restaurants, a water splash park, fitness activities. You name it. However too many times too often I felt like I was at a bus station or an airport. There were long lines for food, ill proper buffet manners, tons of children some without adults and heavy foot traffic in between places. This had to be my least favorite part. That and The mosquitos. Just a few too many of those as well. Our room had an outside terrace but it was full of mosquitos, many got in our room and visited during shower time. Not fun at all. Apparently it was rain season but they definitely went to work on our skin. Itching after vacation is pretty miserable.
They will try to sell you many things on this resort as well. Even after I checked out a saleswoman ran up to me attempting to “share an opportunity of a lifetime”. So gouging for money is at an all time high.
Overall I had a good time with my friends and family but I don’t see myself returning. This trip lacked a cultural connection to the destination and with so many things you’re paying for, leaving the resort barely makes sense. I also just wasn’t a fan of the amount of people. All inclusive does not mean exclusive. So keep that in mind.

Moon palace is a disaster now.
We’ve been loyal Moon Palace members for over 20 years — and this will absolutely be our last visit. The resort that once represented true luxury and hospitality has completely fallen apart.
We were promised resort credits for attending a 90-minute presentation. Instead, it turned into a 3-hour high-pressure sales trap with six different people (Liliana, Pascal, and several others) rotating through our room — despite assurances that it wouldn’t happen. The promised credits were never delivered, and when we followed up, they asked for a receipt that was never even provided. We’ve spent half our vacation trying to fix their mistakes instead of relaxing.
The rooms are lackluster, the beach is a disaster, and our room smells like fish. The food is inedible, room service is awful, and the entire experience feels more like a cruise ship upsell factory than a world-class resort.
What’s worse — it’s now abundantly clear that Moon Palace prioritizes guests based on how much money they’ve sunk into the company. Unless you’ve invested $1 million or more, you’re treated as second class. Those who’ve invested less than $650K are essentially invisible. In essence, their message is: the more you give us, the better your treatment — everyone else can wait.
Moon Palace has lost its shine, its soul, and its standards.
Do yourself a favor and RUN to another resort. This is not the Moon Palace of years past — it’s a corporate machine built to squeeze more money from loyal members while delivering less in return.

Highlights: Moon Palace sunrise was perfect for our family trip with young children. They loved the kids’ water area and the play room. Restaurants were accommodating with high chairs and plate modifications (smaller versions of entrees). Room service usually took about 30 minutes. Servers and staff were super kind and accommodating. I love when people act kindly even when they know they aren’t getting a tip. Julia and Laura at the salon were very kind, we also loved our servers at Gondola and Riviera Maya. My favorite things were the Flow Rider, Riviera Maya restaurant, and the spa.
Keep in mind: The spa and golf facilities were really fun to use with resort credits, but there’s a cap of $300 on the credits for the spa, which sounds like a lot but here they over inflate the prices for everything. Also remember that your resort credit won’t pay extra resort fees and taxes. Expect to wind up paying about $250 per person even if you do all your activities on credits. Expect to walk a lot because this place is huge, they do have golf carts to shuttle you around though. Anticipate a 20 min transit time between Sunrise/Nizuc/Grand and the golf/spa/restaurant complex.
Downsides: the beach stinks, literally. There’s a ton of sargassum especially on the north end and no one was using the beach. There are some photos on the website depicting perfectly blue beach water but it’s not true, we drove to hotel zone and Maroma for our beach days.
I echo what others have said that there can be some pressuring to “upgrade” to the Grand and attend the membership meeting. Not necessary. Sure the facilities in the grand are newer but there were enough places to eat at Sunrise alone, enough to do, and most the rooms at Sunrise had an ocean view. Most at the grand don’t. I’d only do it if you really wanted a water park but you could just choose a different resort with a water park at a cheaper price point if that was your goal.
Funny details: all the workers are required to say “it’s a pleasure” in response to “thank you”, but the more appropriate phrase in English in my opinion would be “my/our pleasure” or “you’re very welcome”. Also the app is chock full of AI illustrations and animations.

Moon Palace is a nice hotel but dated. It was nice to see plenty of staff for your needs. The rooms were adequate for the price, we went during the off season so it was cheaper. I would not pay peak pricing for this hotel.
We went for a wedding as a large group and they did a good job with that. It was in close proximity to Funky Geisha which was nice.
Biggest downside is the ocean. They clean it constantly but you can't go in due to bacteria and the smell is terrible throughout the day.

I had a terrible experience with this resort and wish I paid closer attention to reviews before booking. My husband and I booked a room at the Sunrise location (there’s 3 hotels within Moon Palace). We were told that our room was on the the far back end of the hotel and we were persuaded by the front desk to upgrade our room to an ocean view next to the pools/attractions. This upgrade was 160$ per night but we were told we had to wait for the room to be ready (about an hour). After arriving to our room, we were very upset to note that our “ocean view” was a very partial view out of the corner and also 2 double beds when we were told king bed. We reported this to front desk and they claimed there is nothing they can do about it as they had no king beds left (highly unlikely as this resort is big). Resort itself was crowded with kids. Very dirty, dead bugs in our rooms. Hallways filled with old drinks/food. Drinks served at the bar were very watered down. Food at the buffets were very bland and seemed like it had been left out there for hours. On our last night, we went to dinner at Momo (one of the restaurants on site) and my husband woke up the next morning with committing and diarrhea which persisted for 2 days. This was an awful way to end our trip. When we reached out the hotel, they emailed back trying to justify that it couldn’t be food poisoning, even though it clearly was, because they have their food inspection certification.
Please save yourselves from an awful stay here and choose another resort.

We recently returned from a 5 night stay at the SLS Playa Mujeres and had a great vacation. From the moment we arrived (a quick 35 minute drive from Cancun airport), the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive; offering us all beverages upon check-in. We were greeted by our butler, Alexis, who made us feel right at home. He handled all of our dinner reservations (needed!) and was available both in person and via text to answer any questions.
For an all-inclusive resort, the food exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed breakfasts daily at The Market and were welcomed by Karen's smiling face. She and all of the host/wait staff were so kind. Both the juice bar and coffee shop were a great addition to the property for quick stops and we visited both daily. We were lucky to have Jorge Arturo as our server at both Caracol and Fi'lia. He was joyful and kind, made the kids feel extra special and was very knowledgeable on the menu. So much so that he made ordering easy and suggested all of his favorites.
We spent our days at the pool, beach and utilizing the hotel's many on-site amenities. The real winner was the hotel's entertainment staff - Gama, Paolo and Mario. Gama quickly became a family favorite! Gama could be found in the The Market making balloon figures for kids at breakfast, rallying guests of all ages to play sand volleyball and entertaining families at the pool all afternoon with games and activities. Paolo had guests entertained in the evening with music, dancing and entertainment. The kids club had a variety of daily activities and kids could be dropped off/picked up at any time. A nice convenience!
The property is immaculate and well maintained. The beach is clean and private (no solicitations!), the Gulf water is warm and clear, and the wake very calm.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. The property is very family friendly while still being luxurious for adults. Highly recommend!

This stay was absolutely a wonderful experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, Mario and the other gentleman greeted us with warm smiles and interacted so nicely with my two little boys.
The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything fresh and tidy throughout our stay.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The whole staff at the SLS were phenomenal. Erica from the children's pool and Daniel the bartender (next to the children's pool) were so attentive and nice. As well as Yeni (JLO) was extremely attentive and sweet.
The on-site restaurants was also excellent — delicious food, great presentation, and attentive service. Manuel at the Mexican restaurant was amazing and everything was delicious. We also tried the Asian restaurant and Jonathan brought out great options to eat. Lastly, the steakhouse was good and Arturo was very nice.
The only thing I can think of is that theres not much entertainment but it doesn't take away from the great experience we had.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and truly exceptional hospitality.

What an amazing trip we had to SLS Playa Mujeres. It was our first time and definitely not our last. We were celebrating my daughter's graduation and this place was more than she could ever have wanted. Although the property, food and activities were all great, the staff were trully the ones that made our trip a memorable one. Luis our butler was great and always on top of things, he checked in daily to make sure we had what we needed. Charlie with Tropical Elite Travel booked our Airport transportation and excursions from the hotel and he was phenomenal as well. Tours were great and service was perfect definitely recommended booking through them!!

The entire property is beautiful and the service is excellent. Our butler, Isaac, was very attentive and always made it a point to meet up with us to check if we needed anything. Isaac went out of his way to decorate the room to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Very communicative. Food and drinks were delicious. SLS has thought of everything and anything a guest would want and need. Highly recommend this resort. Ask for Isaac for your butler service. Spa hydrotherapy was very relaxing. We felt special from the minute we were picked up from the airport to the end of our stay. Thank you to all the staff that work tirelessly to make their guests comfortable and relaxed. Gracias!

I have been doing research on which resort to stay for our first Cancun trip and for my husbands birthday. I’m glad that I decided to stay at SLS playa mujeres. Everyone was just so sweet and polite. Everyone was so attentive to my 2 sons and even the restaurants service was amazing.
I was worried for a few negative reviews but those are just a Ken and Karen review. The food was amazing. My husband and I gained weight here, but totally worth it. The amenities are amazing, excellent beach location, a separate pool for family and adults only. Also we rented a cabana for 4 days by the beach area and pool. The services on those has been 10/10. Thank you so much SLS employees.
Overall, our stay has been very memorable. My family was too sad to leave. We can’t wait to go back for our next family vacation.

Unforgettable vacation!
I spent 5 days at Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive from check-in to check-out. Our butlers Victor and Roberto were phenomenal! The food was delicious and varied—especially loved the sushi and steaks at Zen. Drinks were always flowing and the music vibe made everything more fun. The ocean view from our room was breathtaking. We just stayed at the hard rock Hotel in Cancun Mexico. The beach is beautiful . The service is amazing. The rooms are wonderful. The reason why I gave it a four star is because it definitely needs an update. The staff is wonderful. We would like to extend a special thank you to Carlos and Francesco in the buffet for our breakfast. they were very attentive. They remembered our drink orders every morning. They greeted us every day with a hug and a smile. They are exceptional.!!!!!!My husband also had a massage and a manicure/pedicure at the spa Candy WAS AWESOME. She was kind, she gave him a fantastic massage, she is very knowledgeable at her job. Every day when we went to the beach, our waiter Joseph was wonderful. He was there every day all day, bringing us drinks. He took wonderful care of us. All the people at the hard work were really hard to make sure that their guests have an amazing experience and vacation and for that we thank them all.

We have encountered a number or lovely team members across the hotel and restaurants but there is some individuals that I would love to highlight.
Samuel at reception, was great very friendly and helpful with all the information he provided. He helped arrange some extras for me and my wife.
Edgardo at the Ciao restaurant, he was our waitor and made the experience absolutely lovely informing us of all the options and advising on the food. Was an absolute pleasure to have him as our waitor.
Chef Carlos at the Ciao restaurant, the food he prepared was absolutely amazing.
And lastly I want to thank Jessy. So far she has helped arrange the room so I could surprise my wife. She decorated the room and made it look absolutely stunning (if you want to do something special for your partner she is the perfect person to speak with), she ensured that the room was prepared, she also arranged with the restaurants to ensure that they were informed of our diet requirements in advance, arranged a lovely day for us on the beach front and her service and support has been nothing but 5 star. Each day she has ensured that we are ok and if there is any questions we had she has helped with this. She is an absolute asset to The Hard Rock Hotel and should be recognised for the lovely support she gives to the guests here and for having made our stay an absolute pleasure so far. A big thank you from both my wife and I.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always willing to help. I especially want to highlight the entertainment team — Fernando and the rest of the group were amazing! They worked so hard every day, brought so much energy, and really made the experience fun and memorable.
The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and in general the staff were polite, cheerful, and attentive.
The only downside I noticed is that although this is considered an international hotel, many staff members immediately start speaking Spanish with guests. If you don’t speak Spanish, the conversation can be a little difficult at first. I think it would be much better if staff asked guests what language they prefer to be addressed in. This small detail would really improve the experience for international visitors.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel, especially thanks to the hardworking and friendly staff.

We went for our honeymoon and our local host Eduardo was a legend! He organized romantic surprises in the room for my wife, amazing dinners, and he even bought aloe Vera to the room for me when he heard I had got a sunburn!
I genuinely want to be a better person after feeling the warmth and kindness of Eduardo, Rafa, Herman, and Jackie!
We had Jackie as our concierge and she arranged discounts on our sunset sailing excursions and made us feel like VIPs everytime we saw her infectious smile across the pool. Jackienl and Herman even gifted us a bottle of tequila when we had the smallest of misunderstandings about a reservation that was entirely my fault!
We don't normally spend this much money on a vacation but we genuinely felt like royalty when we stayed here.
The food at the Resort is absolutely delicious at every resteraunt and even the pool bars. Everyone of the staff members across the whole resort were just so kind and so welcoming.
Our rooms were so clean and well stocked twice a day at a minimum.
Our only issue was that we almost had too much complinemtary champagne and tequila from Eduardo and Jackie in our room. We spent so much time trying every cocktail and amazing meal at the Resort we would forget that they had treated us to such amazing romantic options.
Update: I wanted to add a shout out to Lucia who served us drinks and food at the pool who always made us smile. And another shout out to Josue the pool concierge who helped us with getting loungers, pool toys and anything we needed every morning. Both Josue and Lucia were instrumental in everyone having a seamless time at the pools and the property :)

1st trip to Unico 2087, and I’m pleased to say that the resort has is incredible and offera above standards. We in love with it the first time! The rooms are absolutely stunning—spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. After a day in the sun at the pool, you enter the most refreshing room to relax in. The food is consistently amazing, with every restaurant offering something unique and delicious. The pool offers incredible food and drinks. The staff goes above and beyond in every way; they’re attentive, friendly, and truly make you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive.
It’s rare to find a resort that delivers the same “wow” factor. Our friends ha e stayed here 3 times and they agree visit after visit the "WOW" factor is still prevalent!! We can’t wait to return again—it’s truly become one of my favorite places to relax and recharge. Berenice and Javier provided the most excellent butler service! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Just returned from our third trip to Unico 20.87 and it is our favorite resort around Cancun! It’s about an hour transfer from the Cancun airport but absolutely worth it. The property is stunning and so elegant. The service is incredible from check in to dining to activities. The new French restaurant is great, and we enjoyed our prior favorites of Cueva Siete and Mi Carisa for dinner too. I love that each restaurant has its own signature cocktails. We booked a hydrotherapy circuit and massages at the spa and both were amazing.
A couple people that made our stay extra memorable and amazing:
Cony was our pool waitress and was amazing!! Our second day there, she saw us setting up our towels and brought us our usual order from the day before - two mezcalitas! Also kept us stocked on ice cold water bottles and was super attentive about making sure all the food I ordered fit my gluten free needs :).
Sebastian, Alejandro, and Eric made aquaerobics SO fun!!! We danced and laughed through the activity every day.
Mariana was our server for breakfast at Mi Carisa and was so friendly, a ray of sunshine to start the day!
Flavio was our favorite dinner waiter of the trip! He was at Mi Carisa. Italian places can be tough for me because I’m allergic to carrots, shellfish, and have a gluten intolerance. He ended up helping me find an entree that I could eat with no worries at all!! (Alfredo with substitutes of gluten free pasta and chicken instead of shrimp). He was so incredibly friendly and helpful.
Last but definitely not least, our Local Host Laura was INCREDIBLE. We felt so welcome and at home from the moment we met her. She set up our dining reservations, spa reservations, let us know each day’s activities including the specific artesano experience each day, and even set up surprises in our room for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday. She truly was top notch!!!

The food was outstanding — from breakfast to dinner, every meal was delicious. The resort’s restaurants have something for everyone — Italian, French, Mexican, and Japanese — and the coffee shop was our go-to spot for great coffee, snacks, and fresh pastries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at TRS Coral. We ate at Boheme (French), el Gaucho (steakhouse), and Tentazione (Italian) and all were very delicious with a wide array of options for each restaurant. Helios was very good although I wouldn’t consider it Greek. Chic Cabaret was entertaining and the food was surprisingly good and and checked the box for a gastronomical experience.
Our butler, Ben, was everything we could have asked for and was a great assistant with navigating our itinerary. We appreciate his helpfulness and politeness.
The jacuzzi loft was the perfect place to unwind. We had plenty of space at the pool and beach to relax and the planned activities were just right.
Zentropia, the spa, was superb. We had a couples massage and experienced the hydrotherapy which was amazing. The view from the rooftop pool was worth it all.
Special thanks to Maranda for saving my toe from some unknown creature bite :) and to Guillermo and Leo for fun activities. Our server, Manuel, at Tentazione has a gorgeous singing voice and Julio at Gaucho was awesome. The bromance established between he and my husband was hilarious.
Things to improve on: 1.) a nightlight of some sort to guide one from the bed to the toilet would be nice, 2.) when housekeeping takes a towel, they need to ensure that they replace it, and 3.) have more nighttime entertainment on the TRS side.
We will definitely come back in the near future.

If you are looking forward to a nice welcome at this resort look elsewhere. When we arrived we were supposed to get a welcome drink as they had us fill out a questionnaire prior to our arrival. However no welcome drink given and we had to carry our own bags to the room, the gentlemen that showed us where our room was located we later realized he was a spa salesperson and only did it to get a sale from us which we declined
This place prioritizes spa sales over customer service. Everywhere we go there was someone trying to approach us on the resort to book the spa. I wish they would use these sales people for other tasks.
Our room: Upon entering our room we were greeted with a moldy smell and towels all had stains on them. We asked for replacements and which also had stains.I recommend they use bleach for towels to get stains removed as a 5star resort we expect these little things to be perfect.
Food:
Out of all the resorts I’ve been to this one dropped the ball when it came to food.
Pros:
The hot tub in the balcony and the lounges was a nice treat to get back to.
The beach was amazing and clear only one day it was murky after a night of rain.
The butler service was on point, they helped save the day many times and their responses were quick and timely.
The resort in itself is very nice and massive, the boat shuttles was a nice little treat.
They also cleaned the rooms twice a day which was quite nice and good to come back to after being out all day.
The French restaurant is a must such amazing food and experience. All the restaurants are well designed and decorated inside.
Overall this resort is not bad if they can work on customer service and food it will indeed be a 5star

My stay at TRS Coral has been absolutely wonderful from start to finish! The resort is beautiful, the staff are incredibly kind, and the service has exceeded our expectations. Freddy was absolutely amazing throughout our stay! He was super friendly, easy to work with, and always went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was especially kind and thoughtful with my parents, who are visiting for the first time, and he went above and beyond to make my dad’s 60th birthday truly special! My dad is extremely appreciative, and our whole family loved his service. Anyone lucky enough to have Freddy, will be in great hands! Everyone here at TRS Coral has been so kind, it has been an incredible trip overall!

We stayed in one of the swim-up suites and it was absolutely perfect. The room was spotless, modern, and felt private even though we were steps away from everything. The pool right off our patio was a total game-changer — morning coffee and an afternoon dip without ever leaving the room.
Service was incredible from start to finish — staff remembered our names, drinks, and preferences after the first day. Food was way above typical all-inclusive quality (especially at La Boheme and El Gaucho). The resort feels upscale but never stuffy, and the access to the private beach area was a nice touch.
If you’re looking for a quiet, adults-only getaway with first-class service, TRS Coral nails it. Worth every penny.

My family and I had dinner here on our last night and let me tell you…El Gaucho is the best restaurant here. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was top tier. Our waiter Javier was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating, not once was our glasses nor plates empty. The manager, Jesus, had been super helpful in providing us an amazing course and was very friendly. Last but not least, THE FOOD, was immaculate. Chef Soto had cooked everything perfectly. Drinks were amazing. Strongly recommend this place, you will not regret it.

Our stay at the Desire Pearl from September 5-9 was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the entire team made us feel welcomed, cared for, and truly at home. Every single staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience.
The playmakers, pool personnel, bartenders, food servers, and chefs were all outstanding — friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. The level of service and attention to detail was second to none.

Oh, I am blown away by the service here. It is beyond any expectation you could Possibly have. I have made a list of some people that really made my experience special for example by the pool, Candace and Kia and Jess and Abby and largo And Matt and Shirley they win a problem beyond to care for us. We also appreciate it Miguel and Antonio. They were the ones that always had a chair ready for us. The gardener Javier came over several days with a coconut. He climbed up the tree to get. He gives it to you with such pleasure in the morning. We had an awesome breakfast and Victor and Poor We’re constantly there to serve our every need. Water Our cleaning lady Harmon kept everything so clean every day then we went to the spot and we’re so blessed to have Selena and Zazil Who went over the top to give us an You made it awesome deep tissue massage perfect for all the toxins being removed through the lymphatic system. Gabi was instantly at our side to bring us drinks when we are by the pool. She even knew that we liked mineral water and would have it for us before we even asked for it. The number one reason we’ve been to Desire is because of the people that work here and this is our third trip in less than one year. They have memberships here. I would highly recommend because it’ll put you in such a great state of mind every time you come to visit. Our butlers Carlos and Irving were amazing. They made sure we had the reservations we wanted and took care of a few things when our room didn’t get restocked 3 of the 6 days. Also, our pool attendant Victor made sure we had the pool beds we wanted and was very accommodating. The play makers Kia, Matt, JJ and Angie (I think) were amazing making the activities around the pool and stage at night super fun!

We just returned from 6 nights in Pearl and as usual had a great trip. The best part about the resort was the service and we met some great staff.
Large shout out to Luis Lopez who was the “Profesional Bartender” making great special drinks and the best margaritas for the wife. Claudia was also outstanding and created such a personal experience also with conversations while we sat at the bar drinking some great drinks. They made our experience so much better because the cared enough to provide personal service to us.
We also have to say Horacio and Miguel ALWAYS took care of as the pool making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.
The food was really exceptional, and we were so glad. We never had a bad meal and the service in the restaurants was fantastic.
We would still love to see some repairs made to paint, rooms needing minor repairs, and especially the main pool that needs much repair to the tile, as well as some pool service for algae growing in grout. This is where people really spend a bulk of their time and having it made better would be a huge improvement.
The worst part was sea grass and the smell. We know this is not in control of resort, but it does affect the stay. Resort staff worked very hard to try cleaning up daily but due to the time of year it was overwhelming.

This was our first time at a resort like this. Although they are not set up for Thrupples they made every effort to make it work for us. The food is phenomenal and always fresh. The hostess May is very kind and speaks very good English and allowed me to practice my bad Spanish with her every day at breakfast. The selection of bourbon is great. The staff is lovely and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are nice and comfortable and very clean.
We will definitely be returning for another visit.

Gorgeous resort with top-notch service — food and amenities need a boost

Almare Isla Mujeres is a stunning property that delivers exceptional service in a truly beautiful setting.
The team members were consistently warm, professional, and eager to make our stay special. Our room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable, and the main pool area was lovely — the semi-heated water and calm turquoise ocean made it easy to relax and enjoy the view. The bartenders were also a highlight, offering skilled mixology, a strong liquor selection, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails.
Where the experience fell short was in dining and amenity variety. The food presentation was beautiful, but the quality and selection were limited. With inky two restaurants, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus remained static and repetitive. The rooftop pool was much smaller than expected, with bar service beginning late in the day and inconsistent attention once open.
Lastly, there were no general hot tubs unless you held elite status AND specifically requested access to the spa.
Overall, Almare offers a first-class setting and outstanding hospitality — however, the food must be addressed to have the potential to stand out against
the very best all-inclusive experiences.

Words cannot express how wonderful of an experience we had at Almare. ‘An all-inclusive luxury resort’ does not even begin to cover the level of service, friendliness, and general level of quality we felt from both the resort itself and all the members of staff.
To start, the resort is picturesque and designed beautifully down to the smallest detail.
We could not have been happier with the heavy Mayan & Mexican cultural influence on both the food (which was overwhelmingly top-tier), as well as the off-resort experiences with Noe (the cemetery sunset walk and the sunrise walk to Punta Sur).
Reyes was amazingly patient with us during our first time paddle-boarding despite a very windy day, and encouraged us to come back out on a future day of our trip.
The in-room turnover service was discreet and always provided us with more waters when we asked for it.
Most importantly, Karen and Alejandro were the absolute best part of our trip. They made us feel welcomed from day one on the beach, as if we had been coming for years; and were happy to fulfill any request or give recommendations of their own when it came to food, drink, or otherwise. They were genuinely kind people who were happy to not just help us out on the beach but also answer any questions we had or hang out and have a great conversation if the afternoon was slow.
The only downside to Almare is that we think it may have spoiled us for all other All-inclusives in the future!
We will definitely be back, and we can’t wait for our next visit!

Was picked up at a partner hotel for the hotel ferry and service provided was already top notch. Provided a free drink and took the boat ride over. All luggage was handled by staff. Provided a quick tour of the resort and shown to the room where they provided me an upgrade as an ambassador with Marriott. The resort is very clean for it to be open air. Weather was wonderful and beach was clean. Some parts are rocky but compared to other resorts this time of year it was great and cleaned up as much as possible. They provided free paddle boards, snorkeling gear, kayaks and took us on a short trip. This service was great and the entertainment crew did a great job even though occupancy was low at this time. All the Food was fantastic and everything tasted fresh! All the servers would remember us mostly and my girlfriend’s gluten free allergy was no worries! I forgot to reserve twice for dinner but no issues with getting us in. Before or after dinner we would enjoy a few drinks with Eli and Joseph at the main lobby bar. Those guys are fantastic and so personable and made the BEST drinks. The golf cart is quite expensive but convenient. If not in your budget staff will help get you a taxi to get into north part of the island which is only $10z I would definitely visit again. If your looking for a relaxing time with no worries and this is the place to be.

We stayed at this luxury resort to celebrate my friend's birthday and wow!
Our entire stay was delightful from the ferry trip to the island and back.
Our suite was spacious and super clean with a nice jacuzzi tub. We had a fully stocked refrigerator and cozy chairs on our balcony.
There are no complaints with the staff at Almare. Everyone worked extremely hard to accommodate us.
The meals were unique and tasty however it would've been nice if there were all day buffet options.
Overall, I'd book again.

I recently stayed at Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort in Isla Mujeres, and it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with a calm and refined atmosphere that makes it easy to relax from the moment you arrive. Everything feels intentional, from the design to the materials to the way the light hits the ocean.
The food and drinks were incredible. You can really taste the quality in every single thing they serve. Nothing felt cheap or watered down like at some other all-inclusive resorts. BOGA was perfect for breakfast with a great mix of fresh fruit, pastries, and cooked-to-order dishes. The Seasalt rooftop restaurant was the highlight of my stay. Dinner there felt special every night, both for the view and the creativity of the food. During the day, the pool bar became my favorite place to be. The service was quick, the food was fresh, and every drink was made with care.
The people working at Almare are what make it truly stand out. Alan, the Food and Beverage Manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. Karen, who took care of us while we were in the beach cabanas, was so sweet and attentive. And Rafael, the bartender, made every drink with such skill and energy that seeing him was always a highlight of the day. It’s rare to meet people who love what they do as much as this team does.
I also went on a private kayaking tour with one of the managers, and it ended up being one of my favorite moments of the trip. Every manager I spoke with seemed genuinely invested in making the resort grow into something even better, which makes me excited to go back and see how it evolves.
If I had to give one small critique, it’s that there is usually only one restaurant open for dinner each night. It didn’t take away from the experience at all, but it’s something to know if you like a lot of variety.
The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and felt luxurious in every way. Every part of the resort feels new and cared for.
As someone who usually stays at properties like the St. Regis or other high-end Marriott hotels, I can honestly say that Almare exceeded every expectation. It’s the kind of place where you feel looked after without ever feeling crowded or rushed. I can’t wait to come back.

Premier member review here : From the moment that we arrived to the moment we left everyone was extremely nice ! It is a more upscale resort for couples therefore the fun never stops ! Bartenders at the bar teach you Spanish if you desire 😃 will make any drink of your choice and overall notice you the minute you approach the bar ! Sexy Entertainers especially Monika and Bella are awesome and super friendly! You truly have the best experience there with one small exception : I don’t like that you have to make reservations for restaurants for dinner , it should be on walking bases … but with that said we still had an exceptional vacation and we will be back ! Night shows and entertainment are great and you are never bored ! If you get hungry after midnight there is those midnight tacos and pizza with an extremely polite, funny waiter to take your food order and of course from time to time you can see some friendly racoons near by waiting for you to share your food with them 😂 !!! Overall if you love having fun, reconnecting with your spouse and meeting new friendly people that this resort is definitely for you !

A smaller, more upscale and intimate naturalist resort. Quieter during the day with parties at night. More reserved but comfortable still. It doesn’t have a particular vibe or energy to it but it makes for a different kind of vacation time. The location is a bit remote and so you’re definitely going to spend your days and nights in the resort. It was good to try it but it wasn’t really my scene. I prefer something more wild, younger and freeing.

Hotel staff is absolutely amazing. Water Park, pools, drinks, and activities. My kids loved the arcade, it's nice located by a few restaurants allowing me and my wife to enjoy dinner or desserts while the kids play. The bowling alley downstairs along with the pool table is a great way to spend the night. Restaurants are excellent, I don't eat meat, but there are still tons of options. Pedro and his team at Casa Mia did a wonderful job. Releasing turtles into the ocean is a must, my wife and kids loved it!
We opted for one excursion which I highly recommend, Gimmie All which included a zip line ( scary and very high but fun) ATV fun but you get filthy, bring a face mask and hand towel. Cenote cave with fresh water and cliff jump was amazing. I would highly recommend the Grand, any bad reviews you read ignore.
Only issues I had. The ocean you can not use at all, along with a horrible odor when walking outside the hotel in most areas. One other small issue other small issue, the Mexican restaurants did not feel super authentic, I felt like I had better Mexican food in New York. They did not even have Mexican rice, just plain old white rice.

A GRAND Family Vacation at Moon Palace The Grand!
We just returned from an incredible all-inclusive stay at Moon Palace The Grand in Cancun, and it was truly a phenomenal experience—especially with the Fanstatic Suite! The sheer amount of luxury and space in the suite was a wonderful feature and made our trip feel like a fantastic value and price for a full-resort vacation.
The new property is stunning. The new facilities are top-notch, and the entire resort, from the gorgeous lobbies to the pool decks, is well maintained.
For a family vacation, you absolutely cannot beat this resort in Cancun. The waterparks and kids play areas are all in perfect condition, providing endless fun. The food options are plentiful and delicious—we loved trying all the different specialty restaurants. The light, fire, magic, and dance shows were spectacular! Also, definitely treat yourself to the spa services; the Awe Spa is world-class.
The staff is uniformly happy and friendly, making us feel welcome at every turn. Given the resort's size, the internal transportation is key, and the golf carts taking us around were timely and efficient—we never had to wait long!
A quick note: like many resorts, they may invite you to participate in a 90-minute marketing presentation for their resort membership. If you're not ready to invest in future vacations today, just politely say no—they respect your decision, and it doesn't diminish the rest of your amazing stay.
We had a great time and highly recommend the new rooms and the full resort experience. This is the best place to attend with family! We plan to go back.

Everything was perfect! Despite being a large and busy hotel, everything was very organized, and the staff were amazing and welcoming. I only remember a few names, but we truly had great experiences with most of the staff.
We had a lovely experience with Viridiana at the playroom — she went above and beyond to make my son happy.
Lilia at the playroom was also very kind and welcoming.
Hageo at Tavola was wonderful; we received excellent service from him, which made us want to go back there every day.
Overall, it was a fantastic vacation, and we will definitely return!

Overall Moon Palace Grand, Sunrise or Nizuc all are very good.
Everything was excellent and I would have given 5/5 if it wasn't because of the one bad encounter with Vicente in the Sunrise when trying to book the spa.
On the good note. We would like to thanks Jorge Pope, Katherine, André, Alex and Lenon at the Grand Bounce Zone. They are all amazing. Very friendly. They seem to love kids. I see parents are sitting and on their phone but the staff where plying with the kids. They seem to love their job and the kids. Special thanks to Pope. Not just the staff from Bounce Zone but all the staff from the small Playroom in Nizuc are fantastic. My 6 yr old daughter favorite place. She said that's her favorite playroom because of the staff. They play games, face paint and do craft with her and the other kids. Love the little nap area at the Nizuc Playroom. My daughter was playing and her little brother is napping see picture. This place think of everything for kids. Its a paradise for kids. Can't wait till there Moon Palace Punta Cana open up. [Was at their Moon Palace Ocho Rios, terrible experience. It should not be part of the Palace family. ]
I had a facial but it was OK. However, I really enjoyed the massage by Lilia at the golf course spa.
Lastly, I would like to mention Luis Castañeda (driver from Sunrise-Spa). I told him I was late for the spa and he made every effort to get me there on time. Much appreciated. We had a little chat and I asked him if the staff are treated well because staff seem happy all the time. This is a good sign that staff are well taken care of. He talk very highly of the CEO/boss. Im very happy to hear this.

Alrighty so after spending nearly 5k to be here the experience wasn't up to snuff. If I had to title the review it'd be, "the big hurry up and wait, come to palace difficulty." To start scheduling airport pickup took 3-4 emails with them requesting flight information and reservation information and me providing it every single time to get the same request over and over. Then they give you an option to plan your excursions etc ahead of time. It took more than 3 hrs of texting back and forth on Whatsapp with their vacation planning team to get spa services and excursions booked. So after the hassle of getting everything booked before I even left home I was already annoyed but determined to enjoy my visit.
Upon arrival it's a several hour wait for rooms to be ready. So if you like to relax, unpack and get comfortable after a big travel day go ahead and forget that. The rooms are gorgeous but outlets don't work, toilet flushes about 50% of the time, and sometimes the a/c just says nevermind, you have to constantly request maid service etc.
Once finally checked in your agenda will update with everything previously scheduled in the app they encourage you to use for dinner reservations etc. Speaking of dinner reservations whether you have reservations or not be prepared to wait. The food is mid at best but be prepared to wait 30+ minutes if you don't have a reservation (even at the buffet) and about 15 min if you do have a reservation. If you decide on room service go ahead and be prepared to wait up to 2.5 hours. Even if you schedule breakfast there's still a chance it'll be over an hour late on check out day... They also obsess over picking up the plates so if you ordered something like a fruit plate hoping to be able to graze, absolutely not they'll be knocking every 30min asking for the plates back even after you tell them you'd like to keep your food. If you leave the room to do anything your plates will be gone when you get back even if you were still eating. Don't bother putting in any special requests they don't do them consistently or timely.
The spa was another place where things couldn't go quite right. After the several hours it took to get the spa services booked I expected ease up on entry. It's constant difficulty for them to pull up the reservation if you show them yours they'll try to reschedule you. They make it clear for manicure and pedicures they don't do gel removal so I arrived with press ons (just nail glue) they refused to provide my services even though I had no gel products. On my second spa booking I ended up just walking out because I showed up prior to my booking and they gave me a hard time arguing about when my reservation was even when I was showing them the PDF that was provided by the person that booked it. So if the spa is supposed to be for relaxation of mind and body just be prepared for insufferable logistics first and refusal of services left and right.
Transportation is another logistics nightmare. There's golf carts all over the resort but be prepared to wait for 30min, get bad directions, get dropped of in spaces unknown and they drive away before you can get directions. If you speak to 3 different people you'll get three different sets of directions and still be lost with them all. Then at check out be prepared to get a lot of difficulty. I asked for a checkout pass for myself and my guest, they refused. When I sent my guest to get their own check out pass they said she was already checked out by me. Then they tried to help by taking my check out pass while waiting on airport transportation that was late of course. I eventually had to just update my pass for 2 myself because I was going to miss my transport.
Lastly, they don't treat for mosquitoes 🦟 be prepared to look like a warning ad for West Nile virus. They don't even have citronella candles outdoors. Also the beaches have sand fleas so your ankles will be attacked. After nightfall forget it: no amount of bug spray can save you.
Resort credits aren't worth much in stores.

The entertainment staff - Jonathan, Alexander, Pedro, Alan, Jesus & Monica made our stay so much fun! They played volleyball with us for a couple hours everyday and they all have great personalities. They are fun and outgoing and make sure to keep the party going! Super entertaining and fun, we loved them! I wish I could give them 10 stars! They felt like our best friends by the end!!

This was my first time in Cancun and I came to this resort for a wedding. This hotel is amazing. All the restaurants are so good. The service was amazing, I loved all the different classes they offer each morning. Alba is great to get smoothies, fresh juices. I loved Susprio (yummy seafood) for lunch and dinner and because it's by the pool, great people watching while you eat. The rooms are luxurious and the bedding so soft. I really did not want to leave at all.
This was truly a 5 star experience and I can't wait to go back.

Came here in October 2025 and it was such a beautiful experience. I've tried multiple resorts before and by far Atelier had the best food and service. Yatzy and Suyin were our butlers and they made our stay so comfortable, providing everything we needed from reservations to bath salt and much more with refillings of snacks and toiletries and quick turn down service. Everyone was always so welcoming and willing to try to make things work with our different requests. I had a massage and hydrotherapy twice. The facilities and staff were so nice and friendly. The only thing is the mosquitoes due to the marshy land when it rains - luckily they provided mosquito repellent generously in our hotel rooms and in the outdoor restaurants. It was definitely a wonderful stay and excited to come back!

Our experience was wonderful! We went for our honeymoon and the Inspira upgrade was very much worth it. Our butlers that came with the Inspira package, Rodolfo and Armando, were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond to provide extra special treatment to us. Without them, it would have been much more of a hassle to make our dinner/spa reservations. The resort was always clean, and everyone working there was more than happy to help in any way they could. The food was absolutely delicious at every restaurant we went to. The drinks weren’t super strong but they all tasted very good. Probably a good thing they were a little weaker considering it was all-inclusive. I would most definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a special getaway or vacation.

We first stayed here in June for our honeymoon and had such a great time that we came back a few months later — and it somehow got even better. The location is unbeatable, and everything about this place feels effortless — beautiful setting, amazing food, and top-level service from start to finish.
The staff here truly knows what hospitality means. They pay attention to the little things and always go the extra mile. One night I asked for oysters even though they weren’t on the menu — the next day, they had them ready for me. That kind of service is rare, and it really shows how much they care about their guests.
Our butler, Armando, was incredible. Always one step ahead, checking in without being overbearing. Marisol also made sure everything ran smoothly during our stay.
Between the workouts in the mornings, the shakes after, and the bike tour around the property, it’s the perfect mix of relaxation and activity. We lounged around the pool and enjoyed the beach most of the day.
If you’re looking for a place that nails every detail — service, food, vibe, and atmosphere — this is it. 10/10.

I was beyond lucky to enjoy 4 nights and 5 days at Atelier to celebrate my birthday. Lazaro and Alberto were our butlers and were so helpful, friendly, and detail oriented. I have never been at a more beautiful and enjoyable resort. Our room was immaculately cared for, even including a scent of choice sprayed lightly at evening turn down service. I even came back to our room to birthday decorations and delicious desserts with special cards from the hotel. All of these details were so thoughtful and made the stay that much more impressive. All we had to do was ask if we needed anything , and they made it happen in addition to all that we didn’t ask for.
The facility is amazing, to include delicious foods with many options including varieties of dishes to accommodation my friend’s gluten allergy. We ate a delicious lunch and a breakfast at El Suspiro both days with Omar as our friendly server. We had buffet style breakfast 2 days at Mercado 19 with David as our server. He even brought us fresh coconuts with straws in them for fresh coconut water. Dinners have a wide variety to select from to include Cilento with incredible tacos and a tray of toppings unlike anything I have ever seen, Takeshi with the best Thai Chicken I have ever had, and again, wonderful service by Jaime. He was funny and very friendly.
Dinner at Maria-Dolores was an incredibly delicious fancy night out with impeccable service. This meal is not included as part of the all inclusive package, however the quality and variety of the food with what you pay is truly worth every penny. Again I was pampered for my birthday (what a trip!)
The Nuup Spa is honestly the best spa I have ever enjoyed. I have been to quite a few! The hydro-therapy is so good! You must plan to be there an hour to hour and a half before any massage to truly enjoy the whole experience. Aylin gave the most thorough, therapeutic and relaxing massage ever.
Go get your cabana by the ocean early! Enjoy the classes offered by the amazing activity team to include Latin Dance with Corinna, pottery, piñata making, water aerobics, and other options we didn’t even try! There was truly such a great balance of fun things to try or just relax poolside or Oceanside. We did all!
Make sure you tip these amazing staff members as they truly take such amazing care of all guests. I would love to go back and would highly recommend Atelier to anyone who wants to be spoiled in paradise.

If you are accustomed to Four Season's types of hotels and resorts, this is not the place for you. The ride from the airport to the hotel is along a less than scenic route and does not set the tone you may be expecting. Once you arrive at the hotel, you are greeted and whisked to the check in desk where you are asked if you'd like all kinds of amazing resort credits in exchange for "45" minutes of your time over breakfast the next day. God help you if you agree to this. For one, no one can exactly explain what you can use your resort credits on and two the meeting will take hours, they eventually will take you to the sales floor in the building and try to convince you to buy your vacations from them in advance for hundreds of thousands of dollars. They literally expect you to take out a mortgage to do this. It was shocking, particularly since we had only been on the premises for 18 hours. The service in the hotel is fine, the all inclusive liquor is not top shelf and the food, after a few days feels like being in a college dorm. They have several specialty restaurants which you need advance reservations for, they are unmemorable. The long and the short, we will not be going back here.
Now the good, he pool is big and clean and nice, there is a swim up bar, the spa is solid and they have free water / temp therapy at the spa all day everyday. We used this each in addition to our services (highlight of the hotel for sure).
And the bad, the crazy vacation sales people literally chased us into our taxi when we were leaving to try and push vacations on us at the last minute.

Extremely Disappointed — treated like 3rd class
This was my first time staying at Le Blanc Cancun, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The management is unresponsive, the food quality is nothing like I had expected and the overall experience felt nothing like the luxury standard, where you had paid top dollar like $1000 per night. Resort is poorly managed, with terrible service, inconsistent meals, and lack of attention to guests, particularly if you are not a member. For the price you pay, you expect excellence — not excuses. 😔
Making restaurant reservations is nearly impossible unless you’re a member — we could only get a 9:30 PM slot, which is unacceptable for a supposedly 5-star resort. Even Diamond members should reconsider renewing, as the overall experience no longer matches the price or reputation. There’s simply no room or attention left for regular guests. I will never go back. A total disappointment.

Le Blanc is amazing, I can’t think of any way to improve it. The service, the amenities, the employees were top of the line. The butler service was amazing, so helpful when making reservations or just asking for ice in the room, there was nothing he couldn’t help us with. The food was delicious and a beautiful presentation. The spa was one of the best I’ve ever been to, so clean and the amenities included were outstanding, highly recommend!! I would definitely recommend Le Blanc !!

I am writing this review with profound disappointment, hoping our experience will help other families avoid a similar ordeal.
Our family of five checked into your resort with great anticipation, only to have our stay ruined by a severe room leak. What made the situation truly unacceptable was the hotel's response:
1. We were not promptly relocated to a safe and clean alternative room.
2. No compensation was offered throughout the entire ordeal.
3. The management adopted an exceptionally rigid and unaccommodating attitude, refusing to provide any form of compensation.
For a resort that promotes itself as a luxury destination, your failure to demonstrate basic service integrity and goodwill when guests face such inconvenience was astonishing. What should have been a joyful family vacation turned into a stressful experience that left us all deeply upset.
While we will leave Cancun as planned, please be assured that we will never choose Le Blanc Spa Resort again. A hotel unwilling to ensure the basic well-being of its guests in times of need does not deserve any traveler's trust.
I urge potential guests to think twice. When traveling abroad, no one wants to find themselves without support and care when problems arise.

Le Blanc is so nice I don’t even know where to start. Every single expectation I had was not only met, it was blown out of the water. I’ve stayed in a lot of resorts in Cancun before, but from now on, this is the only one I will stay at. My spouse and I were both 100% satisfied and relaxed for our entire trip. All the food was fantastic. The restaurants are fantastic! The hydrotherapy in the spa was fantastic! The app they use is fantastic! Go ahead and download it before your trip and you can go ahead and make reservations for the spa, restaurants, excursions, etc.
I also want to say that the butler service was out of this world. Cecilia was our butler until 3 everyday and Jose was our evening butler. We had more interaction with Cecilia because we’re generally early to bed, but both of them were beyond great. We felt like Cecelia wasn’t an employee by the time we left, we felt like she was a new friend we made. That’s how kind and wonderful she was. Jose even drew an amazing in room jacuzzi with rose pedals and a bottle of non alcoholic champagne (non drinkers) for us one evening after our return from dinner. They’re always there to make sure you’re taken care of, but if you want to be left alone you just press the privacy button and nobody will bother you.
I could go on and on and I know I’m forgetting several things. If you are a nondrinker like myself every restaurant has non alcoholic options that are delicious! I really appreciated that. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. The “no kids” thing really keeps this place quiet and I saw no drunken behavior from any other guest. Every employee had a smile on their face and genuinely seemed happy to be there and happy we were there too. We can’t wait to go back and are already looking forward to it. Again, I’m a very well seasoned traveler. My spouse and I have been all over the world. I’ve been to a dozen resorts in Cancun, but this is the one I’ll be calling home from this point forward. When we arrived they said “welcome home.” Now I know why. 10 stars all day everyday.

Our stay at Beach Palace Resort was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional service. The entire staff was attentive and friendly, but Joshua stood out as by far our favorite server. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made every meal extra special—we genuinely looked forward to seeing him each day!
The resort itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained. Our room was spacious and clean. We loved lounging by the beach and the pool, both of which were peaceful and never overcrowded.
Dining was a highlight—every restaurant offered fresh, delicious food with a great variety. The rooftop bar and views were unforgettable, especially at sunset.

This was our very first family trip to Mexico and my first time visiting the country, and I’m absolutely thrilled that we chose Beach Palace Cancun. Everything about this hotel is simply perfect!
I want to especially highlight the exceptional service and the kindness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. Their genuine care made us feel truly welcome and taken care of every moment of our stay.
The food was also outstanding — delicious, fresh, and with a wide variety to choose from. We chose the all-inclusive package and were very pleased with everything it offered.
One of the biggest highlights for our family was the kids’ club. My 4.5-year-old son absolutely loved it! The staff gave him so much attention, played different games with him, and even gave him a special souvenir at the end. He spent most of the day there with joy, fully engaged and happy in a fun, caring, and educational environment.
Overall, we are very satisfied with our vacation and are already planning to come back again in the future. Thank you, Beach Palace Cancun, for such a wonderful experience!

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid This Resort at All Costs
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this so called “Beach Palace Resort” in Cancun was beyond disappointing. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the resort was not up to even basic hospitality standards.
When I checked in, my room wasn’t even ready. Once I finally got in, I was greeted with a cold, moldy shower, a busted lock on the door, and a broken remote that was never replaced throughout my entire stay. The toilet handle fell off the second I touched it a clear indication that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or inspected prior to my arrival.
There was a huge gap between the mattress and headboard, making it incredibly uncomfortable. The air conditioning barely worked, leaving the room hot and miserable every single night. When I tried to report these issues and requested an early checkout due to the horrible conditions, I was told I would still be charged for the full stay — no exceptions.
To make matters worse, I was nearly charged twice for the same booking, and then told a refund would take 21 days to process, completely unacceptable. On top of that, I was served old fries at the pool bar along with being 5 months pregnant and requested no alcohol in my virgin strawberry daiquiri and I was brought an alcoholic beverage twice, a small detail, but one that really captures the resort’s overall lack of care and quality.
I travel often and have stayed at a variety of hotels and resorts, and this was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I would have rather just ended my trip early because I would have rather gone home than spend one more night dealing with all of these issues.
Do yourself a favor — skip this resort and book somewhere that actually values guests’ comfort and satisfaction.

I stayed at Beach Palace towards the end of July and had my wedding here. I had a wedding of about 70 people.
Overall, I had a pretty good experience. I enjoyed all the food I had on the resort. I enjoyed all of the drinks. I slept great! The resort needs updates but they are about to undergo renovations, so excited to see how it looks after. The bartenders were attentive and fun. I enjoyed the Sky Terrace bar the most. The view from up there was very nice.
I had my ceremony on the top of the Sky Terrace.
The ceremony was beautiful. The view of the ocean was great. It was hot up there for sure because it was July but they had a water station up there for people to stay hydrated.
We ended up having to have our reception in the ballroom instead of the Sky Terrace because the chance of rain was too high (25%). I was not a fan of the carpet in the ballroom so hopefully with the renovation maybe they could update the flooring in there. The decoration was beautiful, though. I had so much food to choose from for the wedding which was wonderful and it was all included. The DJ did a great job. We had a great time at the reception, though I don't think the AC was working properly because it was too hot in there.
Overall the planning of the wedding with the resort went well. Sometimes I think there may have been some miscommunication which required a lot of back and forth. Aranza was very nice and did try to make sure I was happy even when we ran into some hiccups here and there.
The photographers and videographers were very nice and did a great job. They got all the images we asked for in the alotted time we reserved and helped us pose. The photos and videos came out beautiful. Be aware that when you receive your photos, you choose the photosyou want, and if you go over the amount in the package, the prices per photo are expensive.
Overall, I had a good stay and wedding at the resort! Majority of my friends and family did as well.
Cons that occurred during my stay or my guests' stay:
-Had some issues with some of my wedding guests booking their complimentary shuttle service with the service showing up as not complimentary. Make sure to book way ahead of time because you may need to reach out to fix this with the resort.
-I am extremely afraid of bees and really wanted artificial flowers because of that fear, but they would't allow artificial flowers. They reassured me that they would spray a deterant on the flowers so I wouldn't have to deal with the bees but there were too many bees during the ceremony so it was pretty distracting for me. I was trying to hold my composure at the alter but you could see it in the wedding video and photos. I think maybe artificial flowers should be allowed in cases like this to prevent this.
-My brother and cousin had a room booked together but my cousin arrived first. Since the room was booked by my brother as Adult 1, they would not let her check in until he arrived. So she ended up waiting a couple of hours before she could check in until my brother arrived to the resort. I think they really need to change this policy if this is their policy because not everyone will always arrive at the same time if they are flying from different places and since she was Adult 2, they should have let her check in without him being there. The same issue arose with the airport shuttle. This is an issue that needs to be resolved for people who visit in the future.
- Unfortunately one of my guests had issues with her toilet and waited quite a long time for check in. Also, she was pregnant and asking for non alcoholic drinks, they kept giving her alcoholic drinks.
-My dad and brother had issues with their room service meals coming cold.
-I dont think the AC in the ballroom during the reception was working/up to capacity. It was hot in there and they said they would look into it, but it never was fixed/resolved.
- The water pressure for the jacuzzis in the rooms was very low and the water in the shower would sometimes be cool when it should be hot. Hopefully renovations fix that.
