Beautiful place to stay. Rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. Staff are not as helpful. Unsure as to if the issue is low staff or just uninterested in helping. Parking is a huge problem. We were charged to self park which was fine(not the problem), however, after the first night we were told the self parking lot was only for Valet and we would have to park at another hotel. That other hotel didn't have available parking. There were available spots in what used to be self parking but didn't want anyone but valet to use it. So each time we had to explain we paid and it became very annoying. The resort is beautiful and very close but the amenities are limited to times that are not convenient. Gave us the feeling they liked the look but didn't want people using them. The pool was also incredible. So overall a beautiful place just service is not the best.

Lobby area was nice enough but rooms are dated. We had ants in an area close to baby's stuff, asked for service and they called back way later when baby was asleep. In the end, it didn't get taken care of. Front desk staff not helpful at all. I had just received Marriott gold status and it's supposed to make you eligible for 2pm checkout; we asked the two girls (one trainee) at the desk to get the late checkout because we had a baby napping and didn't want to wake her early, they didn't care about the status and basically said "housekeeping schedule is already set for today" and didn't bother to make a call, lift a finger, or anything. When we walked away, they giggled like a couple of idiots. Upon check-in, we also didn't get much help (had asked for either a K within the same rate type). They said there were no Kings available but didn't really bother looking into it at all. They didn't care that we had a baby and would have appreciated the extra space. Conclusion was that front desk service was substantially worse than service at the rest of the resort (the waiters at the restaurants were awesome). For $400+ a night, I expected much better. Won't be back if I can avoid it.

We loved our stay at the Swan & Dolphin Hotel in Orlando! For the price, you really can’t beat the location, being able to walk to Disney’s BoardWalk is absolutely amazing. The on-site restaurants are fantastic, especially Rosa Mexicana, which quickly became a favorite for dinner. The rooms are comfortable, with cozy bedding (a great bonus after long park days!). While the décor doesn’t really “scream Disney” and the bathrooms are a bit small, everything was very clean and well-maintained. Service was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel is a perfect choice if you want a great value, great food, and convenient access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the Marriott Dolphin Hotel for four nights in August 2025 while attending a business conference. I requested a room on an upper floor, away from the elevator banks, and ideally with a decent view. Upon check-in, I was assigned a room on the 16th floor near the elevators with a view overlooking the hotel’s rooftop. While the location was not ideal, I was relieved that noise from the elevator area was minimal throughout my stay. The room itself was acceptable but uninspiring. The décor felt bland and outdated, with furnishings and finishes showing signs of age. The bathroom fixtures, including the shower head and mirror, were particularly worn and in need of replacement. The photos attached reflect the dated condition and plain styling of the room. Service was polite, and Andrew Herms, the representative who handled my request, listened but ultimately placed me in a room that did not fully align with what I asked for—especially disappointing since the hotel was not fully booked. I believe a more thoughtful room assignment could have provided a better guest experience. Overall, while my stay was manageable, the room fell short of expectations for a Marriott-branded property. A refresh of the décor and fixtures, along with more attentive room assignments, would go a long way in improving the guest experience at the Dolphin Hotel.

Beautiful. Upgraded to a fireworks view room.. you can see the fireworks although it is very in the distant expected to see it much more up close like when you have the fireworks view in Magic Kingdom resorts still very nice. Would stay there again. I love that. It has the boat directly into Hollywood Studios and Epcot very convenient, makes for a stress-free day.. although the rooms are nice not well maintained at all our balcony was full of cobwebs. The door barely opened needed WD-40, but the maids for the room were very sweet and attentive and helpful. Front desk seems to not really be trained. They constantly have to ask other people how to do things lobby beautiful.
