We stayed at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs Area for just one night before checking into our Disney resort, and I honestly wish we’d stayed longer. I booked it because I wanted to be close to Disney Springs and get an early start on our first park day, and this hotel ended up being a great choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Shelton and Marcus from Bell Service/Valet really stood out—Shelton’s personality is fantastic. We were both exhausted from a long travel day, but after just a few minutes talking with him, our moods completely turned around and we felt ready for vacation. The hotel was spotless and smelled fresh, and our room on the 19th floor was clean with a great view. The poolside grille was another pleasant surprise—the food was excellent, especially the loaded nachos and the passion fruit non-alcoholic drink. Honestly, their food was better than most of the quick-service or poolside options within the Disney resorts. The pool itself was also one of the nicest in the area, especially for families with kids. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Orlando/Disney area. Perfect location, great staff, and a really enjoyable stay from start to finish.

I loved this hotel, it was so close to Disney springs like a 10 min walk. It was very safe, I found there was cops everywhere so I could walk at night feeling safe. The hotel was great. I had groceries delivered and wasn’t able to get out of my room since my kids were sleeping and they went out of their way to bring it to me, I really appreciated it. The pool was great for the kids and even the food by the pool was soooo good! Definitely recommend, especially for the price, the service, everything was great. Everything was awesome, they have shuttle buses too which run late so you can go home after disneyworld to take a nap then go back with the late bus. Great great great!

This is essentially a get what you pay for hotel. The room did not meet my expectations at all. The room smelled damp and mildewed and after returning from a long day at the parks our beds/the room as a whole even felt damp. The rooms appear very outdated as well. The thermostat did not work and would not allow us to adjust the temperature up or down. The floor of the shower was bubbling and felt to be moving (maybe contributing to the added moisture in the room?). House keeping also seemed to be lacking-very little was replenished and as soon as we entered there was hair in the sink… I will say most of the staff were friendly, the pool area was nice, and the shuttles were amazing/ a great money saver. The best part of the hotel is that you’re in walking distance to Disney Springs which is a huge plus. While this hotel is generally cost effective, if/when I return to this area I’ll pay the extra money and stay elsewhere for clean, updated, and more comfortable rooms. I never take the time to write reviews but I’m so disappointed and honestly am ready to go home early and get out of this hotel!

The location is amazing! Just a 10 minute walk to Disney Springs! Busses are available to all parks and airport. The staff are all very kind and helpful! Especially the front desk and the luggage handler, Shelton. The rooms could be updated. For what you pay I feel like the room is very small and not great. We did find some ants but in the Florida climate that is a minimal issue. The breakfast buffet is overpriced for what is available. The coffee shopped bar in the lobby are both great! We had a great time!

We had a great stay at Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista, and it exceeded my expectations in cleanliness and comfort. The hotel is perfectly located right at the border of the Disney Resort — as soon as you enter the Disney Resort area, you’ll find it. It’s also a Disney-certified hotel, which means you can use your confirmation number in the Disney app to get early entry access to the parks. Believe me, this makes a real difference! If you’re unsure how to set it up, the staff will gladly help. They also provide a promo code for a fabulous bus shuttle service to all the Disney parks. There are usually two buses: one serving Magic Kingdom & EPCOT, and another for Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios, running every hour. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a coffee machine, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, TV, and more. The bathroom is basic (not luxurious), but functional and clean. Service was excellent — whenever we needed something, the staff were quick and helpful. A few notes: bottled water is not provided complimentary, and they are firm about check-in and check-out times. Early check-in or late check-out is possible for an extra fee. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant stay, especially for Disney visitors.
