Got here on the 17th October 2025 for a week. Staff were lovely and helpful when you needed help. The hotel is big, modern and very clean with a great location. We stayed in room 1242 on the second floor. Room is a great size for your stay sadly just an ok view. As we were over looking the car park, but only an issue if you looked down. Housekeep do a fantastic job keep the room nice and clean. The hotel is part of three hotels making up one big complex, given you a lot of choice. With more than one swimming pool and more than one restaurant at hand. There also a kids play area for the little ones. More than one bar here as well offering a nice selection of beers, wines even cocktails, a happy hour and cocktail of the week. Even though it is a big complex its esay to get about and they give you a map on check in. They give you one free pool towel if you wish to use the poolside and have not brought your own towel. This is free for 1st towel and only 1€ if you need a fresh one. You get free WiFi if you need to get on line and English TV if you need your soap fix. The restaurant is a great size with indoor and outdoor areas to eat in. Food was good, but was very much the same ever night so dose get a little bit boring. So overall I would happily stay here again and give it a 4 star plus

I stayed at the Sol Don Pablo in Torremolinos (part of the Meliá group) and it was absolutely stunning from start to finish. We had a Junior Executive Room with a private sunbathing terrace, which was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The hotel itself was immaculate, and the food was amazing — great variety and quality at every meal. We stayed half board and honestly couldn’t find a single fault. Every member of staff we met was friendly and professional, and the whole atmosphere was so relaxing. We enjoyed it so much that I’ve already booked to return in November! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect, stress-free getaway

There are not many negative things about this place; I'd say there are a few minor ones. It is a very nice hotel with decently sized rooms and bathrooms. Clean! The hotel is spacious inside and outdoors as well, with many swimming pools that are shared with Don Pedro and Don Marco. There are lots of sunbeds; however, there are lots of people too. 😅 The sea is literally right in front of the hotel—50 meters away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection of different products (I'm not fussy at all, so I speak for myself only). Overall, it was a pleasant holiday, and I will definitely recommend this hotel and location.

Title: Terrible Experience – Broken Door and Zero Help from Staff I’ve just spent 2 nights in this hotel and honestly, it was one of the most frustrating stays I’ve ever had. The door to my room was constantly broken. Every single time I left the room, I couldn’t get back in. I ended up spending around 3 hours in total just waiting — either standing in front of my door or going up and down in the lift from the 9th floor to reception trying to get someone to help. And what did the staff do? Absolutely nothing useful. They clearly didn’t care at all. Each time, they just said they’d send an “engineer,” and I had to wait another 30 minutes for him to show up and open the door for me like some kind of VIP prisoner. For a hotel that pretends to be professional, this was beyond disappointing. Instead of relaxing, I wasted half my stay dealing with something that should’ve been fixed after the first time. Totally unacceptable.

Overall it was ok. The positives are the breakfast is very good. Lots of selection. There should be fresh juices though rather than the cartons of juice they are putting in there. The room was ok, a little tired. The pool area is nice although the guests are down there at 7am putting their towels out. The staff at check in and check out are not very friendly or efficient. At check in they never gave us towels for the cards until we went down later to ask where we could get towels. At checkout they just said ok that’s done. No goodbye. The towel you have to go to their hotel next door to get. If you want to change the towel you have to pay. At the pool bar they don’t serve real cocktails. Even though it’s on their menu they won’t serve smoothies etc. they said their machine is broken. I ordered a gin fizz which is on their menu and she didn’t know what it was and asked her colleague in Spanish how to make it. He told her wrong. She used limes and gin. No egg white or syrup and she put salt around the rim. I stopped ordering after that and just stuck to the odd beer. The soap thing from the shower fell off the wall and they left it there for three days until I told reception even though the cleaners were in every day. So overall the hotel is fine and in a good location. It’s just small things where they could do better which add up.
