We stayed 3 nights in November. The service and food were fantastic! We loved the layout of the resort. There are a couple of larger main pools, one of them with a nice sand beach, and several smaller, tucked away pools, hot tubs and areas to relax. There were plenty of chairs and didn't feel overcrowded like some other resorts seem to feel. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, such as the relaxing music played over speakers around the resort early in the morning, which changed to more upbeat music later in the day. Staff were all very nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back!

We recently spent our honeymoon at Secrets Moxché and overall had a truly memorable and enjoyable stay. The resort is beautiful, and what really stood out to us was the incredible friendliness of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. One of the highlights of our stay has been the exceptional activities offered throughout the day. My husband especially loved playing volleyball (both in and out of the pool) and basketball. A huge thank you to Jessica, Daniela, Miguel, Julio, Ilse, and Regina—you all brought so much energy and made the games even more fun and engaging! The nightly entertainment was another standout feature—there’s always something fun happening, and the performances were genuinely impressive. While we did experience some slow service at times, especially during our first night when we waited 4 hours for dinner, the kindness of the staff made up for it. Special thanks to Ramon, who stepped in and helped us with our dinner reservations for the rest of our stay—his assistance made a big difference and ensured we had smooth dining experiences afterward. We had a few small issues on our first day, but the team was quick to respond and resolve everything efficiently, which we really appreciated. In the end, we’re leaving with full hearts and great memories. Secrets Moxché was the perfect backdrop for our honeymoon, and we’re so glad we chose to stay here. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so special!

We just got back 10/13 and I was fantastic, all of the restaurants were top notch except the steak place where the one waiter thatbwe had was absolutely horrendous. No attempts to refill or ask if drinks were needed, no attempts to see if we wanted anything else. The tables around us got those things, so that was the only bad experience. Pools are very comfortable and there is a scene for all taste, quite, party, medium crowd, spacious lagoon. ALL OF THE STAFF was wonderful our favorite was Gabby at the sports bar, she was so funny. We may pick up the offer to go back for 50% off but you can use it for any secrets resort. Now there was a bit of a mosquito problem so that need to be cleaned up. The beach is small but that didnt matter with so much going on on-site. Really did love this place.

My husband and I were here for a week celebrating our honeymoon. When we first arrived, we were greeted with glasses of champagne and “welcome home”, and it truly felt like home to where we didn’t want to leave. The resort is STUNNING. We loved our room which included a beautiful view with a private outdoor hot tub. The service is top notch, and everyone is so friendly, We tried almost every restaurant and the food was sooo good. We also highly recommend the spa! We did hydrotherapy and massages. Extremely relaxing. The nightly shows are great too. The entertainment team works so hard (as does every other team on the property). I could go on and on about how wonderful Secrets Moxche is. We can’t wait to go back and/or try other Secrets properties.

I’ve stayed in over 20 Caribbean resorts, and while this one looks stunning and modern, several service issues prevent it from being truly great. Check-in: Smooth and welcoming. Loved the Preferred Club lobby and the welcome drink. Architecture is beautiful and luxurious. However, breakfast at The Observatory was slow and disorganized even when not busy — the first sign of inconsistent service. Rooms: Modern and comfortable but smaller than expected for a Preferred Club room. A/C could be colder. Wi-Fi seems routed through the U.S., which blocks apps like Disney+ and ESPN. Amenities: Pools, lagoon, and bar service are excellent, and the pool concierge team deserves credit for their attentiveness. The tennis lessons with Oscar (the best) were a highlight — professional and fun. However, Barefoot Grill was disappointing: rushed staff, cold food, and poor quality. Also, the no-reservation system for restaurants is frustrating. Waits can exceed an hour, beepers often don’t work, and you’ll see empty tables while waiting. This level of disorganization doesn’t fit a luxury resort. Room service was delivered 45 min early and arrived cold. Food: Extremely inconsistent. • Mexican restaurant: The worst experience — long waits, poor service, flavorless food, and staff lacking basic courtesy. Serious management attention needed. • Seaside Grill: Excellent, thanks to Chef Carlos, who went above and beyond to prepare custom dishes. • Italian restaurant: Outstanding — easily one of the best I’ve tried in any resort. • Steakhouse: Average at best. Value: The Preferred Club upgrade isn’t worth the extra cost. There’s no personal concierge, unlike other Secrets properties, which creates confusion and frustration. Staff: Most employees were wonderful (especially Oscar and Chef Carlos), but some areas clearly need retraining. Overall: A visually stunning resort with great pools and amenities, but major service inconsistencies, poor restaurant organization, and no concierge hold it back. I’d return only if management improves food quality, staff training, and adds proper concierge service. The courtesy room for late check-outs is a great touch.
