The lobby and property itself are nice. Large, visually appealing, open areas and lots of seating areas. Rooms need to be updated, but were clean and spacious (great for kids). Large pool is pristine with lots of seating! Kids loved the kid area, but it needs to be cleaned. Service was subpar the whole time (except Erica at the pool-she was great!) , starting with no valet available upon arrival. Food availability / “room service” options are that of a glorified Courtyard.

I was here for a work conference in October. Location is really close to Sea World and Discovery Cove. I didn't stay at this hotel as I own I timeshare in Kissimmee I stayed at instead. They charge $40 A DAY just to park here! I should say per time in the lot, because if you leave for any reason, you pay again. That sucked! If you stay at the hotel, you can purchase a come and go pass but visitors cannot. The conference rooms were freezing, so the next 2 days, I wore jeans and a sweatshirt when it was 85 degrees outside. They have a nice Cafe that carries Starbucks coffee, but the line was always a minimum of 20 minutes long when I went during meeting breaks. But the staff was always pleasant.

Amazing resort in a great location! The hotel has a very calm and peaceful vibe with the atrium! This is the second time I have stayed here and both experiences have been great. The rooms that have an interior view look out onto the atrium. The rooms have a lot of space and the bathroom even has 2 vanity's which is great! The rooms are always clean and the cleaning staff is very nice and helpful. The pool is nice and has lots of seating. There are multiple very good restaurants and the breakfast buffet even though expensive is amazing! The staff is all very friendly and goes above and beyond to make your experience great!

I attended a conference at the Renaissance Orlando. It took three phone calls and two visits to the front desk to find my reservation. I had called ahead of time to check if I was getting one king bed or two queens and they assured me it was two queens which was important because three of us were sharing a room. When we arrived in our room, we immediately see one king size bed and a sofa. Three adults can't sleep in one king size bed and the sofa bed was very thin and uncomfortable. We called the front desk and they said they were out of queen rooms and they had given me a suite. I didn't care to have a suite because the only thing I was using the room for was sleeping and we didn't have enough beds to sleep. The room was nice and pretty and would have been perfect if it were only myself. It had beautiful wrap around windows; however, the view was into a parking lot. The room would not cool. We turned down the thermostat but it stayed above 74 degrees. The room had high ceilings and I think that impacted how quickly and efficiently the room cooled. We called the front desk and they sent someone up. The worker said it was working; however, it never cooled. Sleeping in a room with not enough beds and being hot was not a great combination but the overall hotel was very nice.

We came to Orlando and were hosted at the Renaissance for a conference. I used to work front desk at a hotel, so I know how busy and mundane checking guests in can be, especially for big groups; however, our front desk agent, Pierre made us feel like anything but a number. Pierre was welcoming, kind, and patient with us as we navigated some issues with our reservation. We are so thankful. The rest of the staff that serviced the conference and post-conference festivities at Mist and Boardwalk were great as well. Renaissance at Sea World is a great choice for your next stay in Orlando.
