Kency checked us in today. His positive attitude, was very helpful and he went out of be his way to help us and ensure our needs were met. We are looking for another day and he said he would keep us posted if someone canceled or a room became available. Also, Great service by everyone who helped us from when we walked in until we got to our room. This is a great resort. A really great place to stay. Brad Smith

I stayed at the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando this weekend, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The cottages were everything I hoped for and more, beautifully designed, spacious, quiet, and extremely well maintained. It really felt like a home away from home, but with all the perks of a resort. The amenities were fantastic: the pools were relaxing and fun, the live music created such a great atmosphere in the evenings, and the spa was a perfect place to unwind. Everything about the resort was top-notch. I want to give special recognition to Brian McNeil, who went above and beyond to make my stay outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful every step of the way. Employees like Brian truly make a difference, and he deserves a huge thank you. I would absolutely return to Margaritaville Resort in Orlando. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and welcoming getaway in Orlando. Great location too. Close to the parks and all the cool stuff!

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a cute themed resort. We stayed in the cottages, which are quaint and welcoming. My only issue was the service in general. It’s obvious that they’re very understaffed. Everything took way too long, from the check-in to the restaurant to the valets. All great people, just not enough staff to create a truly relaxing experience. Three stars for inconveniences., especially check-in.

My wife and I stayed at Margaritaville Resort on October 22nd, and what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into one of the most stressful hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Upon arrival, the front desk could not locate my reservation, even though I had email confirmation and had already been charged $715 for two nights. I had specifically requested a king bed, as my wife is pregnant and we wanted a comfortable stay. Instead of taking the time to help resolve the issue with care or empathy, the staff seemed dismissive—perhaps because we are a younger couple, both only 23. Rather than finding the existing reservation, they simply made a new one, charging my card an additional $805. We finally checked in around 1:00 AM, exhausted after hours of travel. The lobby was empty except for one staff member named Jeffery, who gave us incorrect directions twice, causing us to walk across the entire resort with our luggage—again, while my wife was visibly pregnant. By the time we reached the room, we were physically drained and emotionally frustrated. Unfortunately, it only got worse. The room was dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor. We tried to rest but woke up the next morning to find the room crawling with ants, and my leg was covered in bites. When we went to the front desk to report it, the staff seemed completely indifferent. Their only response was, “Do you want to switch rooms?” I explained again that I had originally requested a king room, but they handed me a key to another double queen room, located far from the elevator and inconveniently outside. We reluctantly accepted, but my wife was so upset that the rest of our day was ruined. When we returned that night around 10 PM, we decided to give it one last try. I went to the desk, explained everything again, and asked if they could please just move us to a king room so we could get some rest. The front desk clerk gave us another key—and once again, it was another double queen room, this time with an even stronger odor that was almost unbearable. At that point, we had had enough. We showered, packed up, and went downstairs to inform the front desk that we were leaving early. We drove home completely disappointed and in disbelief that a resort with Margaritaville’s name could treat guests this way. In total, we were charged $1,520, endured three room changes, ant bites, dirty rooms, and zero accountability from the staff. My wife and I were simply looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay before the arrival of our baby—and instead, it turned into a nightmare. I would strongly caution anyone considering this resort to think twice. We left feeling disrespected, overcharged, and deeply let down.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in my life but I've never been handed a margarita when checking into my room. This place was so clean and nice. Beautiful interior. Extremely clean rooms. 3 pools to choose from (so you can avoid children screaming). The pools were my favorite because they were so beautiful and luxurious. Location was nice because restaurants, gas stations, shops and Disney were 8 mins away. We could sit on our balcony at night and watch the Disney fireworks at night. There is a H20 water park next door and we got free passes to water park when we checked in. All the rooms have balconies as well. Bathrooms are large and w/c assessable. Loved staying here. The staff were so kind and genuine to us throughout our stay. Highly recommend. Will be back!
