Sadly Adler
During my stay, I had the pleasure of meeting Fernando from the POP team, and he has been incredibly friendly since day one! I’ve joined several of his activities, including the workout and jumping classes on previous days, and they were amazing — he’s such a great coach, full of energy and patience. Today we had another nice chat, and he kindly invited us to the evening activities. I really hope to see him again on my next visit! Also, I’d like to mention Gerardo, our waiter, who provided excellent service every day. He was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to both Fernando and Gerardo for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable! 🌴✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Service from Diego! We were lucky enough to be looked after by Diego around the pool during our stay, and he was absolutely amazing! He kept our drinks topped up all day without us ever having to ask, and nothing was ever too much trouble. What really made a difference was his friendly personality — he always had a laugh and a chat with us, which made us feel so welcome and really added to our holiday. Diego’s great attitude and attention to detail made our time by the pool extra special. He is an asset to the Grand Palladium! Thank you, Diego, for making our holiday one to remember! 🌞🍹

We stayed at the Grand Palladium Colonial as a group of four and had a great time! The resort is beautiful and easy to get around, with lots of nature and friendly wildlife — just watch your snacks by the pool, those Coatis and Iguanas are sneaky! Rooms were nice but could use a little refurbishment, there were some already undergoing maintenance which is good. Food wasn’t anything fancy but was tasty. Big shoutout to Javier at the egg station – always friendly and fast! And Carlos from the POP team made every day more fun with his energy. “Aqua Gym” became our group’s inside joke, and he even gave my wife a T-shirt for joining in the activities. We will get that photo we promised! The adult pool is a great hidden gem for those looking for a quiet spot and the gym was fully equipped, the photos we found did not make it justice. Overall, friendly staff and a relaxing week — we’d definitely come back!

It was rain season when I went (mid-October), so part of this is on me for booking during that time. The mosquitoes were crazy, I had over 40 bites, even on my face! Aside from constantly being itchy and annoyed by the bugs, the trip overall was still good. The food was okay, both at the buffet and à la carte. I often stuck to bread when I got bored of tacos. Be careful if you have allergies, some dishes were mislabeled (chicken labeled as pork and vice versa). Staff were super friendly but a bit slow when it came to cleaning tables or bringing coffee. I wish they offered self-serve coffee/tea in the mornings. The resort is surrounded by lagoon areas and stagnant water, which sometimes gave off a bad smell when walking to the buffet and probably added to the mosquito problem. It was also hard to get US change, so bring smaller bills. The resort felt safe, the beach party was great, and the beach was nice but rockier in the “white sands” area compared to Colonial Beach. The place is huge, so expect lots of walking or waiting for golf carts at certain times. Overall, it’s a nice resort but I’d recommend going outside of October for a much better experience!

We went there for a casual holiday. Rooms were okay, however the first couple of days we had issues. The bathroom door were jammed, which has been sorted out on the second day of our stay. Then the door lock opening device packed up, this has been rectified instantly. We had one day when there was no cleaning service. Other than that the room was nice, clean and tidy. Pleasant enough. The facilities - bars were great! Plenty of drinks and good staff! The restaurants were excellent! However due to high demand, it is kind of difficult to get reservation in certain Al carte restaurants. Some things are indeed missing from the website, for example certain areas of the resort are off limits. Food was very nice, waiters and waitresses were brilliant.
