Pros- rooms are a good size and the Maintenance team were friendly Reception staff friendly Cleaners cleaned the room well Good size pool Pizza was good and well priced in the pool cafe Pool towels were always available Cons - Not walkable to attractions or the main parts of international drive; Only has one transfer bus for universal, doing one trip at 8.30am but not returning until 8pm (the park closed at 5pm). The one transfer bus has limited capacity so you can’t always get on the bus as it’s busy. Rooms are dated, which wouldn’t be an issue if everything worked but we had multiple issues. Most got fixed once we asked. The dishwasher tray was corroded so we asked for another which we got, but that was also rusty. The dishwasher did not work, someone came to try to fix it but we couldn’t be bothered to report it again. There is a washing machine (which was broken on arrival and later fixed) but it’s not very good. TV’s need retuning, channels in one bedroom were fine but the other two were pointless. Windows don’t stop any outside noise coming in such as the hotels staff using the leaf blower at 5am, the noise from people outside the rooms or the DJ music. Checkout was supposed to be 11am but the cleaners told us it was 10am so we had to leave early. Late checkout needs to be requested on the day. It’s $25 per hour and only until 3pm. There were no rooms available for us so we went to another hotel which worked out cheaper and we had it until 6pm (although not a luxury hotel, it felt like one after staying at floridays) We were a big group and all had issues with our rooms. None of us would return.

My Husband and I have stayed at this resort quite a few times and we have enjoyed ourselves here. HOWEVER, this time, we stayed to celebrate my birthday. There were roaches in both bathrooms which I called to report to them. They wanted to send pest control up while we were there and said we would have to be out of the room for a few hours after they sprayed. So we declined as that’s another inconvenience to us. We were offered to switch rooms but were informed we would have to move everything ourselves. So we chose to just deal with it. Also, the shower was clogged which was gross. They did send someone to fix the shower quickly so that’s a positive. I called to request a late checkout for 1pm so we could enjoy the pool a bit before leaving and they said I had to pay a fee. They waived the fee when I again complained about how there were roaches in our room and they offered no compensation for the nasty uncleanliness and inconvenience.

The apartment is spacious but very old and poorly maintained. Renovation is needed. The apartment door was broken, the cleanliness needs improvement. , and there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms—only in the living room. Staying in the area around the building was unpleasant in the evening hours. The front desk staff were very nice during our stay, but about an hour and a half after we left, we realized we had forgotten medical equipment in the room and tried to get their help. It was almost impossible to reach them by phone, and when we finally did, they were not really helpful despite the urgency and importance of the matter. We had to take a taxi from the airport back to the apartment and found the medical equipment just moments before it was about to be thrown away. In hindsight, it turned out that they could have helped but simply chose not to.

I found this place 5 years ago on my 1st trip to Orlando. I've been back to Orlando every year for HHN ever since. Been staying at different resorts but found my way back to this one. Yes, there are newer properties but they are all half the size of Floridays. On to the review. I was skeptical because of a few negative reviews. But I was happy to see with my own eyes how nice the property was. It's an older property but it is very well maintained. My room was immaculate and I went looking for issues. Couldn't find any. The grounds are very resort style and the location was central to everything Orlando. The best bonus is the room size. Not much in Orlando with this much SF other than and air B&B. Very nice place and I'm glad I tried it again.

A great resort for our holiday from the UK. On arrival mike on reception was super friendly and welcoming and after a long flight it was the great American welcome you'd hoped for. The Room was super spacious for our two week stay and air con kept on auto was all you needed to filter through full apartment. The cleaning of the room was excellent for our stay it was every 4 days and we had a full floor mop and clean plus new towels , bed made etc. they were working super hard and very appreciated 👍. The location was fantastic close to all attractions within 10-15mins drive. Thank you for providing a great experience in the resort and making our holiday one to remember, would highly recommend for service, cleaning standards & resort location.
