Lovely hotel with excellent staff. The hotel rooms are slightly dated and need a bit of care but this doesn’t take away from the wonderful experience we had. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful (plus lots of fun to be around). The kids room was great and my 6 year old and 1 year old both loved it. My 6 year old enjoyed pizza making and model painting activities. Namhon, Pam and Wawa were really attentive to my children and always saying hello during their other roles in the hotel as well as when in the kids room. Great staff! We would definitely come here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent experience with Kim Sa Seem, my hotel service provider. From the moment I booked, everything was handled with professionalism and great attention to detail. Communication was clear, friendly, and very helpful, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The hotel arranged through Kim Sa Seem exceeded my expectations – it was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to my needs. What I appreciated most was the personal touch and genuine care shown throughout my stay. I would highly recommend Kim Sa Seem to anyone looking for reliable and outstanding hotel service. This is a very old hotel, and the rooms have outdated designs compared to other hotels in town. My family and I have been to Phuket many times and Krabi twice, and we never once had a bad hospitality experience—until this stay at Centara. We’re not sure why, but we felt the hospitality here was very different compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at. During breakfast, the staff at the egg station were rude. When we asked about our order, they told us impatiently to “be patient.” We had ordered two omelets but were only given one. Later, the staff member mumbled something in Thai, which felt very unprofessional. The room itself was old, and many things didn’t work properly. The shower water pressure was very low, especially at night. The TV had poor resolution, very few channels, and was not worth watching. If you expect to enjoy relaxing in your room with TV, this is not a good option. Cleanliness was also disappointing. We noticed visible dirt on the pool table, which was disgusting. The room had no international plug points, and the front desk told us to buy one—unlike other hotels that usually provide them for free. Not sure if is just us cause I do reda throughly the revived before booking and its all showing very good feedbacks. But here’s my honest reviews.

We stayed here 6 nights as an Indian family with a baby and a young child. We came to Thailand to enjoy Thai hospitality and Thai food, not chase Indian menus abroad, and Centara delivered very well on that. Breakfast & Food Breakfast spread was good with rotating Thai dishes like Massaman curry, green curry, Pad Thai, noodles, and stir-fried chicken, plus western items, pastries, eggs made fresh, and a lovely crispy-roti live counter on one day. Coffee was nice. Would love proper milk-tea options both at breakfast and in-room. Some Indian guests were upset about limited Indian items. To be honest, we didn’t expect or need Indian food here. You are in Thailand. Expecting a full Indian buffet abroad defeats the point of travel. Kids Club & Pool The pool is excellent and very kid-friendly. The kids club is fantastic. Namhom deserves a special mention for her warmth and genuine love for children. We even bought a hand-painted Krabi hat from there for 200 baht (with bill). Kids were happy, we were happy. Service Staff were friendly and helpful. They also let us use hotel facilities after checkout because our flight was delayed, which made a huge difference with kids. Security deposit For awareness, the hotel takes a 2,000 Baht refundable deposit at check-in. They return it promptly at checkout without any drama or delay. There is no “please wait while we inspect the room” or making guests stand aside until housekeeping confirms. You simply inform them you are checking out, they hand back the deposit, collect the room card, and you are done. Very smooth and professional process. Note about the area outside Directly opposite the entrance to Centara, and also on the right side as you step out, there are a few Indian restaurants whose staff stand outside and loudly call out to every passerby to come in for food or chai. They do this during lunch hours, evenings, and dinner time, essentially anytime they see tourists. It can feel intrusive when you simply want a quiet walk with family. Most Indian restaurants in Thailand do not behave like this, but the ones right outside here unfortunately do. It is not connected to the hotel at all, but it slightly affects the otherwise calm atmosphere. Just sharing this as a heads-up for future visitors. Things To Improve • Water was muddy for ~2.5 days and keeping taps open didn’t resolve it • One day housekeeping was delayed by a couple of hours even with reminder and door tag Not deal-breakers but important for a polished experience. The hotel was very comfortable and well-maintained. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very courteous. The breakfast buffet had a great variety. The pool area was clean and relaxing. Overall, a pleasant experience. The Palm court food was amazing. We enjoyed authentic Thai food. Special thanks to Nas,Ant, Kanoon to make our dining experience Amazing.
