Came here for my birthday trip and wow, what an EXPERIENCE! From the stunning aesthetics to the incredible service, everything was absolutely amazing. We treated ourselves to a relaxing spa day and my masseuse, Carmen, was a 10 out of 10. Tanya was fantastic as well. She took such great care of us and made sure every detail was perfect. We truly felt welcomed and accommodated the entire stay. And let us talk about the bar! This kid free vacation was exactly what I needed and Cristobal made it unforgettable. His craft behind the bar is on another level. There is a difference between a bartender and a true mixologist, and he proved it with every drink. Each cocktail was balanced, creative, and honestly some of the best I have ever tasted. Thank you W Punta Cana. I cannot wait to be back again soon!
Coast-to-coast
Highlights: The spa was the star of the trip — I had the best massage of my life, and it truly elevated our experience. Scena restaurant was outstanding, and the beach dinner cookout was delicious with great atmosphere. The grab-and-go station was convenient, and the Living Room bar stood out thanks to Edger, who made a fantastic Negroni with his own twist. The pools were also beautiful, especially the chill pool with its swim-up bar and the big hot tub. Room for improvement: Breakfast was limited and repetitive. The resort advertised six restaurants, but only two were open each day. Service overall was kind but inconsistent and in need of more training. For a brand-new hotel, our room still showed construction debris and sticky residue in the bathroom. The beach itself was just OK, with coarser sand and rougher waters than expected. The resort is also fairly secluded, so plan to stay on property or commit to full-day excursions. Staff Shout-Outs: • Beroni (Server): Friendly, attentive, and made dining experiences special. • Edger (Bartender): Crafted excellent cocktails (including a custom Negroni) and created a welcoming atmosphere at the Living Room bar. With more polish and the full dining lineup available in peak season, this could easily become a 4-star experience.

We enjoyed an unforgettable long weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday, and from the moment I stepped out of the car, the hospitality was exceptional. Check-in was seamless, our bags were promptly delivered to the room, and we were given a personal tour of the space. Inside, I was welcomed with a handwritten note, a birthday cake, and a bottle of champagne such a thoughtful touch. Each restaurant we dined at seemed to outdo the last the food was consistently outstanding. The service throughout the resort was impeccable, and the cocktails at every bar were expertly crafted and delicious. Our room was spotless and equipped with everything I could possibly need. Be sure to pack a few power converters some of the outlets are European style. Although we didn’t spend time on the beach due to the sargassum issue, I was already aware that Punta Cana, like many Caribbean destinations, is facing this natural challenge. The staff made a genuine effort to keep the area clean, which I appreciated. I tend to avoid resorts that feel overcrowded or cater to the masses, and thankfully, this property offered a more refined and relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning next year for another long weekend it was the perfect escape.

Absolutely Amazing Stay at W Punta Cana – Exceeded All Expectations! From the moment we arrived at W Punta Cana, the staff made us feel like family. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. A huge thank you to Damaris and Junior, our wonderful breakfast waiters, for their warm service and constant smiles. The food each morning was incredible, thanks to Chef Francisco, who prepared everything with such care. We also want to recognize Raul, the Entertainment Director, who was absolutely amazing — always energetic, kind, and making sure everyone was having a great time. Alongside him, Sterling and China from the entertainment team made our stay so much fun with their contagious energy and creativity. Special thanks to Rolando, the Director, who truly made our stay unforgettable. He constantly checked in to make sure everything was perfect and even helped arrange a special birthday dinner for my wife. His attention to detail and kindness truly stood out. Chef Pablo created absolutely delicious dishes, and Chef Tati’s pastries were divine — both so talented and genuinely caring people. On the rooftop, Chef Sebastian wowed us with incredible food at Satsuma. And last but definitely not least, Wilman was the star of the show! He introduced us to all these amazing people and made every moment more memorable. There were also many other team members whose names we didn’t catch, but we want to thank them as well — every single person contributed to making our experience outstanding. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to come back soon. If you’re considering a stay at W Punta Cana — don’t hesitate, just go! You’ll be treated like royalty and leave with memories to last a lifetime.

I loved my stay at W Punta Cana and highly recommend! The service was top-tier. The staff was attentive, and went above and beyond for all guests. We were greeted upon arrival, given an informative tour of the stunning property, and personally escorted to our stunning room. The room was spacious, clean, and had a relaxing view. Despite the current widespread issue of sargassum affecting many areas in the Caribbean, the pools at W Punta Cana were pristine and beautifully maintained. I particularly appreciated the choice between two pool experiences: the oceanfront infinity pool connected to the vibrant Wet Deck (bar and restaurant), and the “chill pool”, which was ideal for a peaceful swim, reading, or simply unwinding. My favorite and what stood out the most was the culinary experience at each of their restaurants. Each restaurant had unique dishes, fresh ingredients, bold flavors and appetizing presentation. The restaurants alone set apart W Punta Cana from other resorts in the area. Although I only stayed for two nights, it was a memorable experience. On my next visit, I plan to stay for at least five nights to fully enjoy everything the property has to offer.
