I had the privilege of visiting Selman Marrakech some time ago with a group of friends, and that experience remains vividly etched in my memory as one of the most exceptional stays I have ever had. From the very moment you enter, you are enveloped by an atmosphere of grandeur and refinement, where true Moroccan hospitality meets timeless elegance. The hotel itself is an architectural masterpiece — a perfect embodiment of Moroccan artistry and craftsmanship. Every detail tells a story: from the intricate zellige tiles and hand-carved wooden arches to the glittering chandeliers that cast their light over the richly ornamented interiors. The result is a breathtaking symphony of color, light, and texture that captures both the soul of Marrakech and the sophistication of modern design. The ambiance of Selman Marrakech is nothing short of enchanting. It exudes a serene luxury that feels both vibrant and tranquil — a delicate balance between vitality and peace. The surrounding gardens, with their lush palms and fragrant blossoms, create a natural harmony that soothes the senses and elevates the spirit, especially under the warm and golden Marrakech sun. What truly distinguishes Selman Marrakech, however, is its magnificent collection of purebred Arabian horses. These majestic creatures are not merely part of the décor; they represent the noble heritage and deep cultural pride of Morocco. Watching them move gracefully within the royal stables or during their elegant presentations is an experience that evokes awe and admiration — a living tribute to beauty, strength, and tradition. The entire visit was nothing less than a journey — a seamless blend of visual splendor, emotional tranquility, and cultural depth. Selman Marrakech does not simply offer accommodation; it offers an immersion into art, heritage, and refinement. Please note that the photos and videos shared here represent approximately 70% of those available on the hotel’s official website, as I unfortunately lost my phone, which contained many personal photos from that visit. Still, the memories remain vivid, and what I hold in my heart is no less beautiful than what the camera once captured.

The hotel and its grounds were beautiful, and the horses were an added bonus. Unfortunately I had a bad dinner experience. As a vegetarian, I ordered the grilled sweetcorn risotto, expecting risotto rice with sweetcorn. When it arrived it was a small plate of sweetcorn without rice and some mystery brown bits. I took a bite of the dish and was convinced it was not vegetarian. I asked multiple waiters what the brown pieces were and was given multiple different opinions - either mushroom or onion - however, I knew it did not taste of either of these vegetables. I asked them to double check it was vegetarian, and they came back and told me it was definitely vegetarian. Still not convinced, I ate only the sweetcorn and left the brown pieces, meaning I only had half a small plate of food for dinner. At the end of the meal I asked again if it was vegetarian and the waiter went to double check with the chef looking unsure. They did not come back with confirmation for half an hour. When they came back they told me it was ham. Nowhere in the menu was meat listed and I was verbally told multiple times it was vegetarian and only found out it wasn’t after the meal. This is very poor and I am very disappointed as this could have made me very sick, especially if I had an allergy. If you are vegetarian do not order the grilled sweetcorn risotto.

We had an amazing stay at Selman Marrakech and couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, kind, and professional ; everyone made us feel truly welcome. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection, and our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The sheets were incredibly soft and luxurious, which made for a perfect night’s sleep. The swimming pool was a real highlight ; absolutely stunning and the ideal place to relax. Every detail was so well thought out, and we had such a wonderful overall experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Our stay at Selman Marrakech was truly exceptional—flawless from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The staff were incredible: warm, caring, and consistently attentive without being overbearing. We felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The hotel grounds are stunning, with perfectly maintained gardens and an overall atmosphere of calm and luxury. The signature scent that greets you at the entrance sets the tone for the entire experience—elegant and relaxing. Breakfast was a daily highlight. The setting is lovely and peaceful, though there is some room for improvement in how the space is organized to make it even more comfortable. That said, the food itself was excellent and beautifully presented. The spa is serene and luxurious, and every meal we had at the hotel’s various restaurants was absolutely delicious. Visiting the stables was another special experience—the horses are magnificent, and the stable staff were kind and welcoming. Selman Marrakech delivered on every level. It’s a hotel that blends luxury, authenticity, and heart—a place we’ll remember fondly and hope to return to.
