The worst accommodation I will never visit again. At check-in, they didn’t explain any of the basic information about using the accommodation. Didn’t tell me the breakfast location, time, or check-out time. Just handed me the key and that was it. Even when I asked, they seemed annoyed. From the moment you arrive, don’t expect any kind of hospitality. It’s like a cheap local motel. The room felt damp as soon as I entered. The room was really old and worn out. The mold and sewage smell were so bad I couldn’t sleep. Even just turning my head, I could smell the mold hanging in the air. Even worse, 3 out of 4 pillows smelled like someone else’s hair — I almost threw up. It seems like they don’t change the bedding at all. Body odor? The greasy hair smell was so bad it made me sick. Even the cushions smelled, so I removed them from the bed immediately. Since I checked in close to midnight, I didn’t complain because I thought the staff would be annoyed. It was truly a torment of every kind of smell, and the bedding was so damp it made my whole body itch. The air conditioner was so loud and booming that even though it was hot, I just turned it off. The air conditioner noise was almost like a vacuum cleaner. Breakfast had nothing to eat. They didn’t turn on the air conditioner, so it was hot, and the view from the breakfast area was just the road, trash, and a parking lot. There was really nothing to eat — the omelet was the only decent thing, but it depended on who made it. The first cook added cheese, the second didn’t. It seems like this hotel has no manual at all. The poolside room was only more expensive in price, not actually connected to the pool. I had asked about late check-out through Agoda beforehand, but it was never passed on. When I asked again, they didn’t even ask which room I was in and immediately said no. They just told me to ask in the morning. When I tried to borrow a towel to use at the pool, they said only one per person was allowed. Don’t expect to get one to lay down and one to cover up like at other hotels. When I asked for one more, they flatly refused — even with an angry expression, almost yelling “No.” It’s just a towel rental and return system, but they absolutely only allow one per person, per day. Originally, I planned to extend my stay if I liked this place, but it was impossible to stay any longer. I asked to extend just one hour while looking for another place, and they refused without even looking at my face. Of course, they can refuse, but the attitude was shockingly rude — they looked annoyed and didn’t even make eye contact. It almost felt like discrimination. If only one staff member had been rude, I’d think it was just that person’s problem, but every single staff member I met within 8 hours (except the breakfast staff) was unfriendly — especially the front desk. If I were the CEO, I would never hire people like them. I was so disgusted that I never want to even look at this area again for the rest of my life. Cleanliness, kindness, food, and facilities — everything was the worst. Not even worth 100,000 KRW.

Yes, the hotel is old and the furniture is a bit worn — that’s perfectly fine and we knew what to expect. However, what is absolutely not acceptable: our room (424) had a strong musty smell, the bed/mattress felt damp, and a canvas painting in the room was already showing signs of mold. On top of that, the window frame was clearly infested with termites — you could distinctly hear the cracking noises. We reported this to the staff immediately, but nothing was done. Two nights later, the termites had eaten through the wood and started flying around the room. As the hotel was fully booked, they couldn’t give us a new room — understandable. But we left the hotel two nights early and didn’t receive any refund, which is extremely unprofessional. I strongly advise against booking this hotel.

The management of this hotel is very disappointing. Although it clearly states “no smoking and no cannabis,” the entire hallway and even my room were filled with a strong smell of cannabis — it was even coming through the air conditioning vents. I stayed here for 8 days and noticed the smell for two days. When I reported it, the front desk was slow to respond and kept insisting it wasn’t cannabis, refusing to take responsibility or check the room where the smell obviously came from. In contrast, when I stayed at a hotel in Bangkok and encountered a similar issue, the staff acted immediately — they changed my room right away and warned the guests next door to stop smoking cannabis. This hotel, however, showed no professionalism or willingness to solve the problem. During the room change, the front desk staff kept delaying, repeatedly checking the room despite the smell being obvious in the hallway. The whole process took almost an hour, and I felt dizzy with the cannabis smell while the staff remained disrespectful and unhelpful.

During checkout, staff accused me of “damaging” the bed linens over minor, washable marks and demanded inflated compensation. They showed me photos over WhatsApp, claimed the linens were worth 4,800 baht, “discounted” it to 2,400 baht, and even tried to make me sign a blank form authorizing payment. I refused and confronted them while on the phone, and only then did they back down. Combined with rude staff, ignored housekeeping requests, and unsafe cleaning practices, this stay was extremely disappointing. Guests should be cautious, especially at checkout.

The hotel is wonderful, no complaints at all. The coffee shop serves the best coffee and cakes we have had in Thailand. Muay and Mild are great hosts
