    I stayed at Kurumba Maldives from October 18 to 22, 2025, with my wife and our two young sons. It was a perfect family getaway. We chose the All-Inclusive plan, which allowed us to enjoy almost every facility in the resort—most of them free of charge. Although the weather was not ideal and we couldn’t join the paid shark snorkeling tour, the resort’s lagoon area is protected by breakwaters, making it calm and safe even when the wind picked up. It was great for kids to swim and snorkel. We even saw a small shark and a stingray, along with many colorful fish and a few corals inside the lagoon area. My children were absolutely delighted! The staff kindly allowed us to check in early, so we were able to have an unexpected but delicious lunch on the first day. Every service was handled quickly and efficiently, which made our stay comfortable and stress-free. We also made full use of the Kids Club, where our children had a wonderful time playing and interacting with kids from various countries. The staff at the Kids Club were exceptionally friendly and skilled at caring for children. Overall, Kurumba Maldives is an excellent resort for families with kids. We had an unforgettable stay and would love to come back again!

    They say it’s the first resort in the Maldives, and overall, it offers a pleasant, authentic experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient — just a 8 minute boat trip from the airport. Which makes it convenient, but also not isolated. I like that , you can go snorkeling and easily spot plenty of colorful fish I even saw a medium size shark without paying for extra tours. The hotel also offers one hour of free kayaking, which is a nice touch. The food was good, served as an open buffet with different options every day. I’d rate it 3.5 out of 5 for food — enjoyable, though not exceptional. It felt like they were trying to please every taste instead of focusing on a few main cuisines and perfecting them. The resort also offered different restaurants, but since our reservation was half board, we mainly stuck to the main kitchen. The spa offers a variety of services, and we tried the 30-minute meditation session, which was a nice experience. The underwater sports center also provides different activities and tours — we went on the sunset dolphin spinner tour, and it was good. There’s even a diving center for those who want to explore more. If I could suggest anything, it would be some small room updates — maybe newer trash bins, a more modern TV, and a few design refreshes. Nothing major, just small touches that could make a difference. Overall, — exactly what I expected from a traditional Maldivian resort. 🌴

    Had an amazing 4 days 3 nights stay at Kurumba. Outstanding service from start to finish. Beautiful resort that so underrated. The seafront / water was the best I have seen anywhere with sharks and turtles swimming up to the shore every morning. House reef outside the wall was quite good and activities offered by the hotel was excellent. Choices of restaurants were also outstanding and had a brilliant meal at hamakaze. All the staff bar one (guy at the photography shop) were excellent but special shout out to Naaim, Joseph and Wan at the sports centre, Hussain, and the whole team at Hamakaze. Morten the GM was very nice too, coming up to say hello every time he saw us. The whole resort is extremely well maintained and the room we had (159) was spotless. Overall 10/10 and can’t recommend it highly enough.

We had the most wonderful time at Kurumba Maldives, where we came to celebrate our dear grandson Oliver’s first birthday! 🎂💖 Everything about our stay was perfect — from the warm welcome and smooth speedboat transfer to the breathtaking island setting surrounded by turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. Our villa was beautifully maintained, spotless, and extremely comfortable, providing the perfect space for our family to relax and enjoy this special occasion. A heartfelt thank you to the management team, Pedro and Magdi, for being so welcoming and making our stay truly friendly and memorable. Their personal attention and kindness made us feel at home throughout our visit. 🌺 The dining experience was excellent with a wide variety of delicious food, and the Kandu Bar added extra charm to our evenings. A special mention to bartender Amil, who impressed everyone with his amazing cocktail skills and cheerful personality. 🍹✨ The Maldivian live band performance on our last night was a beautiful highlight — such lively music and joyful vibes, making our celebration even more special. 🎶🌴 Overall, Kurumba Maldives exceeded all our expectations. It was the perfect place to celebrate a family milestone, filled with warmth, smiles, and unforgettable memories. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return again! ❤️

    We had the best time at Kurumba! Check-in and check-out were super easy and smooth. The staff were all so friendly and helpful — the service here is honestly amazing. Huge shoutout to Nur for his outstanding service! He was very kind, attentive, and always made sure we were taken care of.
