We had a pleasant stay on Joy Island! We liked the family beach villa with the gekkos and birds, the big bed, and our cleaning assistant Ali was superb, he did everything for us. Our Island host, Maral was super, she organized everything for us we wanted, and more, that we haven't even thought about. The food was excellent at the Market, special thanks to Ashram, out waiter and the fruit counter host. Entertainment was great at the Rainbow Bar, themed parties every night with live music. The singers are excellent.

My stay at Hotel Joy in the Maldives was truly unforgettable! I especially want to highlight the fantastic service at the bar – a huge thank you to Ray, Yamin, Sahil, Roza, and Alisha. You were always cheerful, attentive, and made every day feel special with your kindness and positive energy. The cocktails were perfectly prepared and always served with a smile – absolutely amazing! 🍹✨ A special thanks also goes to Ganga from housekeeping – my room was always spotless, beautifully arranged, and cared for with so much attention to detail. You can really tell that the whole team works with heart and dedication. Overall, it was a dream vacation at Hotel Joy in the Maldives, with service that truly comes from the heart. I’ll definitely come back – especially because of the wonderful people who make this place so special!

Our stay at Joy Island Maldives was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome friendly smiles, warm greetings, and seamless service throughout our stay. The island itself lives up to its name full of joy and natural beauty. The crystal-clear water, white sandy beaches, and stunning views created a picture-perfect escape. The rooms were spacious, modern, and well maintained, offering the ideal balance of comfort and style. Food options were fantastic, with a wide variety at each meal and an excellent mix of international and local dishes. The team at the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate every request. We enjoyed every moment from snorkeling and water activities to simply relaxing by the pool with a sunset view. The attention to detail and genuine care from the staff made a huge difference. If you’re looking for a Maldivian island that combines luxury, great service, and a joyful atmosphere, Joy Island is the place to go. Can’t wait to return!

Our first visit to the maldives and joy island and what can we say, as a family we can say the whole experience from start to finish was amazing, literally paradise. All the staff were amazing and treated you like royalty, our over the water villa was stunning and always kept spotless, cleaning staff worked so hard to keep it immaculate and never a fault with them. The entertainment staff were great and always tried to get everyone to join in aswell as Mary and the staff at kids club which is amazing and they offer such a wide range of activities aswell as the play areas inside. The staff in the market were all so lovely and couldn't do enough for you, same with the bar staff they would joke with you, and make sure you were never sat with an empty glass. All staff worked so hard to make sure our stay was amazing. Early on our stay I was given a surprise of a set up marriage proposal on the beach by my now fiance who had arranged with our host. It was simply perfect and like a dream. Staff again were amazing and helped make the moment extra special. The staff that really stood out to us was of course our host Jazey, he was brilliant from start to finish he was there whenever we had any questions or just to check in on our stay, he was available at all times and he made the proposal happen last minute which we will always be grateful for. Then there was Dita who always had a big smile on her face and took us to our table, she was always full of joy, the guy in the van outside serving the food (we have forgot his name) he always greeted my partner with a fist bump and they got on great, the chef making the omelets and pasta was so lovely and always busy, in the bar Mandhu stood out to us for always asking how we were and making sure we had everything we need, there was a few other bar staff but we can't remember there name. The excursions staff who took us on our trips were brilliant, so knowledgeable and made them a great experience. We have booked to come back next year as we didn't want to leave, we enjoyed it that much. It was literally a joy to be there. Our stay at Joy Island Maldives was truly pleasant. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything was well organized and we honestly have nothing to complain about. My son absolutely loved his time at the Kids Club! There were so many fun activities every day — his favorites were pizza making and arts & crafts. The staff were amazing, always friendly and genuinely happy to see him, which made him feel very welcome. I also really appreciate that there were no electronic devices, TVs, or PlayStations — just creative play and lots of fun. A big thank you to Mary and Sandu for their kindness and enthusiasm! If I could suggest one thing, it would be great to have the option to dine in the à la carte restaurants at least once during the stay for guests on the all-inclusive plan. Overall, a wonderful experience — we’d love to come back!
