The hotel is in a great location, very close to main attractions in the city centre. The staff very friendly and very helpful. We have only tried the breakfast buffet at the 38 restaurant, which offers great views of the city and a big selection of different cuisines. Good quality food. The rooms are spacious and clean. They also offer great views of the city which we mostly enjoyed at night with all the skyrises glowing with lights. I highly recommend this hotel and give their staff a 10/10 for their exceptional service.

Usually my regular hotel when visiting KL. Service standards always very high. Great staff. Rooms are however dated - I have encountered in-room wi-fi issues in at least 50% of my stays here. Hyatts generally do very good in-room dining, and this Hyatt is no exception. Can get loud at night due to rempit racing around KLCC, but it's a common issue faced by all the hotels in this area. Restaurant choices can be improved in this hotel. Pool area is nice, so is the spa. Rooms are dated, especially the suites, and in need of renovations. Good WoH perks. Location wise: one of the best in the city.

Decent hotel. A very good location. Check in took a bit long they need more staff. Staff are courteous and friendly, but not proactive and no one wowed me. Rooms were nice and large. However our rooms bathroom stunk of urine. Two Cockroaches found in our room too! Breakfast was nice but repetitive. I thought they would change it up a a bit more daily. View is worth it. Pool area is standard. Overall good place to stay in KL, however wouldn't recommend it if your a family with young kids. Just had a bit of a quite and more business vibe to it.

Nice hotel in a good location but over the 3 nights we stayed the service really let us down. Check in/out staff were great but after that very mixed. - Woken by a call to our room after 11pm to discuss something about sushi we had at the bar....or something... It wasn't us! - Tea served at breakfast had spilled onto the saucer. (No offer to clean or replace, we had to ask for napkins to do it). - Bar had to be reminded they forgot to bring more nuts. (They said they would bring) - Forgot to replenish the bar snacks in our room. - Bar brought wifes drink and did not advise mine would take a while. (Standard practice no?) - 3 invoices for the same amount were emailed to me after we checked out. (All slightly different items). It really emphasised how importance service is. If it was one or maybe 2 things its ok. Will go back to the hotel we used to stay at for both business and mini holidays.

We usually stay at the Mandarin Oriental when in KL but thought we'd give the Hyatt a go for a change. Unfortunately our 3 day stay didn't start well. First issue was the odd 2 stage lift system ... you take a lift to reception on the 39th floor, check-in and then descend via a second lift to your room on the 17th to 39th floors. Result, occasional mayhem in the first lift lobby, reception area and second lift lobby when busy. Big luggage and storage is handled by the concierge on the ground floor which looked chaotic. In view of this and because we had small bags we decided to bring them up with us to the 39th floor. The second issue was our room was still being cleaned at 4pm on check-in. Apparently this happens fairly often so we made a gentle fuss and were upgraded. From then on, the stay improved. The room was spacious and comfortable and the facilities like the pool and restaurants were very good. The included breakfast buffet was excellent with a full range of local, Asian and western items. The service however fell short of 5 star standards at times, being disorganised and even chaotic. On this score they could to take a leaf out of the Mandarin's book. On reflection there are better choices to be had in 5 star hotels in KL, so although we enjoyed our stay we won't be returning.
