Fabulous friendly staff, family friendly with good entertainment, rooms were rustic, but spotlessly clean, good variety of food served from 7.30am till 9.30pm. Beer, wine, soft drinks available from 10.30am til 5.30pm. Beer, wine, cocktails 6pm served till 11pm in main bar and entertainment, could not fault the hotel, we had a wonderful family holiday there, 2 weeks, 2 Adults, one teenage girl and two boys in their early 20's. It had lovely grounds surrounded by hills, beautiful beach nearby with lots of watersports. The hotel itself has 3 pools with a a pool with slides, we all had a wonderful time, highly recommend

Family holiday of 7 people. Stayed for 7 days, after reading some of these reviews i wonder if i stsyed at a different location 😶‍🌫️ Rooms were clean with lovely views, plenty of space , tv fridge in room , shower/ bathroom clean. Service was absolutly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ explained on arrival were our appartments were , explained about taxis , bus time table basically anyting you werent sure of the were more than happy to guild you in tje right direction. Dining experience was first class always greeted ( every meal time ) by micheal and all of the staff. Food was fantastic ( im a person that is very critical) but i cannot fault . Well done guys 👏👏 Location was perfect 😃, surely if you book a holiday and arrive at your destination and realise its miles away from beaches entertainment clubs etc dont book this hotel which i read previoualy. Any back to my experience. Yes i would definatly book again and so would my teenage boys and daughter and her husband.

In general a very positive stay at Golden Odyssey Hotel 🌟 We stayed at the hotel during week 41 to 42. The overall rating is 🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars, the reason behind is the following: Rooms: 🌟🌟🌟🌟, good design and decor. The beds are standard. What takes away star 5 is the showers, which had very little water presure, the pilles, which was hard and the lack of finish In the room In general. But still far better than most hotel experiences 👍👍 Location: 🌟🌟🌟. Not a bad location, but still a bit of walking and traveling distance to all nearby shopping. However, very close to one of my all time best beach (tsambika beach). Facilities: 🌟🌟🌟. They have a small play ground, however it is old and worn down, yet still usefull. There are multiple pools, and a water park which is a big plus. Not to crowded, the big downside is that the pools is very very cold. Not that suited for small children. The main pool area is good and have good snackbar and high service. There is also some evening entertainment, and a bar + a mini marked at the hotel. Which all is a plus. BUT the big downside is the cold pools. Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I can only say top service level on all acounts, you always feel welcome and greeted with a smile. Nothing but positive thinks to say here. If you show the personal respect and kindness, they treat you as royalty 🙏🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Stayed here for 5 days with my three teenagers. Was a bit worried after reading negative reviews before we came. But we had a really lovely time, the family room was better than the pictures, had sliding door which gave us needed privacy. Fridge was handy. Ground floor room was ideal position to pop back from the pool. Never struggled to get 4 sun loungers together by the pool. Plenty of food options, we all went back for seconds on occasion. Limited alcoholic drinks during the day, but that didn't matter to me. All the staff were lovely and everywhere was super clean and tidy. The entertainment was fun during the day and in the evening, the Jersey Boys tribute were fantastic. The hotel is slightly secluded, we took the free minibus down to the beach and shops 1 afternoon.

I never write reviews but my stay at the Golden Odyssey was so awful it needed a warning to others. The location is a basically in the middle of nowhere where, miles from anything remotely interesting. Forget excursions – you're stuck doing nothing with zero options. The staff, with a few exceptions, were unbelievably rude. The receptionists acted like we were bothering them, and the cleaners seemed to take personal offense if you were in your room. The only ecception here were the restaurant and bar staff, who were genuinely friendly and helpful. However, their efforts were wasted on the flavorless food served. A wide variety of food served yes, but every dish tasted like it had no seasoning. Getting to the beach is an ordeal in itself. The bus is always packed, and there are no signs indicating where to get off, so you're left guessing and hoping for the best. Once you're back at the hotel, there's absolutely nothing to do. No shops, no attractions, just the same bland scenery. Save your money and book elsewhere!
