How far is the nearest beach?

Bangkok doesn’t have a beach, but Hua Hin is within easy reach a few hours outside of the city. Alternatively, you could combine a trip to Bangkok with a beach retreat to one of Thailand’s beautiful islands.

The hotel has a fantastic entrance and welcoming feel. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful and most speak English. Breakfast has a wide variety of delicious foods and is available in a beautiful area. The hotel is within walking distance of laundry facilities, 7/11, shopping mall, massage shops. The sky train is within an easy 10 minute walk and taxis are plentiful (if required the bellboys are happy arrange for the taxi meter to be turned on). The swimming pool is a beautiful relaxing area and there is also a gym. This was our 10th stay at Century Park Hotel Bangkok and we highly recommend it. We stayed 9 nights.

The hotel is located at a peaceful yet easily accessible location. The rooms are well maintained too considering the fact that it’s an old building. The service is not that great though. We had asked for a dental kit as only one was provided during check in. The dental kit was finally delivered after an hour and we had to ask them 3 times for it. We also noticed that the bathroom was still not clean after housekeeping as there were pieces of paper and used ear buds lying around from the previous guests…

century park hotel was my first destination and only hotel i stayed at during my travelling around south east asia. what a beautiful hotel with even more beautifully kind staff! the staff were helpful and caring, the room was cleaned daily and the bathroom itself was amazing!! as a solo traveller i found that it was a little bit out of the way or touristy spots however that was to my own fault, would definitely stay again if im ever in bangkok!

We booked a family room with a king-size bed well in advance, clearly mentioning that we were traveling with kids. But upon arrival, the hotel gave us a twin-bed room, saying no king rooms were available. This was extremely disappointing and caused a lot of discomfort — three of us had to manage on small beds and an extra bed, which was far from what we paid and planned for. It’s unacceptable that a confirmed booking was not honored. The hotel didn’t make any real effort to fix the issue or offer a proper alternative. For a hotel of this standard, I expected much better management and customer care. Sadly, this experience made our stay at Century Park Hotel Bangkok quite unpleasant. Room no 838

The Hotel seems fanzy and nice. However fanzy is nothing the photos are not real its super old which is fine but there was so much wrong in our stay… We checked in 2 people and a toddler which the room was not set up for which is minor. The bellboy was camping in our room he didn’t leaveeee cause i didn’t give him money, we just arrived and i didn’t have change but generally its not a must. The securities and bellboys wanted to sell us trips every day which tbh its an insanity that they keep bothering when u leave the Hotel, they have a travel agent in the Hotel. We came to the pool once at 5:45 we wanted a drink i called they are like no they close at 6pm. The Tip of the iceberg was that we needed a late check out for 11pm which i know i gotta pay a full night so i asked them and told them i found this price if they can do something, they meant well we upgraded you so you gotta pay the upgrade price… why u upgrade me on the first place without telling me and we did book a room like the “upgrade “ said so we ended up paying more than what we initially paid for the 2 nights without extension. Total mess this Hotel , i need to mention we been 3 weeks in Thailand this was the last Hotel and it was a mess compared to the other 5 weeks stayed.
