I don't even know where to start with this hotel! We booked this thinking it was as 4* hotel (according to the website etc), more like 2 or 3 * and we will never return. My fiance got food poisoning on Friday 11th October. We filled out a complaint form and handed it back to the receptionist who assured us that the manager would contact us via phone call or email by 13th October. It is now 22nd October and surprise surprise, we haven't heard from the hotel. This ruined the last two days of our holiday as my fiance was bed bound and I was alone. He had to travel home with food poisoning which was not a pleasant experience at all. My partner wasn't the only person that ended up with food poisoning, someone ended up in hospital, several people had food poisoning and two couple even checked out of this hotel and checked into another! Food poisoning is due to negligence and negligence only. The fact that nobody from the hotel has contacted us yet is absolutely diabolical. THE FOOD: There was no signs to tell you if something was suitable for vegetarians/vegans or what the present allergens were. The food was cold, even if you got to the restaurant as soon as the doors opened. The food was either over cooked or undercooked. The selection was poor, there wasn't much variety. The quality was awful. Breakfast pastry leftovers were put in the bar fridge for snacks. Lunch leftovers were served again at dinner. THE ROOM: We paid extra for a balcony that we couldn't use because everytime we attempted to use it, we were greeted with smoke from the other rooms. The bathroom had a few stray hairs in there from previous guests. There was a layer of dust on the mirror, hand dryer and ledge. The sink had a thick layer of grime etc at the spout. The best thing about the bathroom was that the shower was powerful. The furniture is very tired and the hotel needs a major renovation. We only had the bathroom supplies topped up on the first day, every single day after that I had to go out of my way to find a member of staff to get clean towels and toilet roll. The TV was tiny which you would expect but you couldn't turn the TV up past volume 20 which actually was more like volume 10. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the neighbours flushing the toilet. The mattresses and pillows are about 10 years old, they are disgusting. The mattresses have no comfort at all, out would have been more comfortable laying on the floor. There were no tea/coffee facilities THE POOL: A decent size. Be careful getting in and out of the pool as it is very slippy, we saw a few people lose their footing. The floor is also slippy by the outside showers. The tiles are grim and need a good scrub. There was black mould/ mildew on them. THE STAFF: Most of them are friendly. THE WIFI: Shocking THE DRINKS: Great variety AIRPORT TRANSFER: If you choose this option, be wary. This is one of the last drop off points, it took over an hour and a half to get to the hotel and if you are arriving to Tenerife late, you won't check into the hotel until after 11pm . Which meant we missed the all inclusive. The hotel does have vending machines but products got stuck in there several times during our stay THE LIFTS: Out of 3, 2 were working. The third one was temperamental. Which means you always have to wait for the lift due to there being a queue. THE LOCATION: There is a beach that is literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It has black volcanic sand and is very rocky waters but it is stunning. It is a 15 minute walk to Loro Parque. There is a little town/market who is about 15 minutes away form the hotel Would not recommend.

The place was great! I was slightly apprehensive because of the reviews posted but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes the rooms probably could do with an update but they were clean and comfortable and functional. The food was great, can get repetitive but it’s all inclusive and it was all very nice and edible and a good range of things too! The service was great apart from our first lunch service where we’d just arrived after 6 hours of travel and sat down in the dining room just wanting a water and a waiter came over to us and rudely told us to move and grunted at us as a way of asking if we wanted a drink. We asked for some water which he bought over and slammed down on the table. Not sure what caused this? And put us off especially as this was our first meal time, but! didn’t happen again and the service was amazing for the rest of the time we were there. We managed to get sun beds every day and the pool was great. The entertainment was good too lots of variety. Would highly recommend the George Michael tribute act and the singer on the Sunday who i think is called Daniela she was amazing! Great stay and a great place with a great location! Close to the beach and lots of shops and only 5 minutes in a cab to the old town.

A great budget hotel with everything you need either you're a solo traveller or with a group. Has a very nice outdoor pool, restaurant food is great (while somewhat repetitive), and the late night shows are nice to watch. Staff are kind and helpful, and rooms are basic but comfortable with air conditioning. My room wasn't serviced the last couple of days but this was my own fault as I had slept in very late and forgot to put the "do not disturb" thing on my door. Even if you don't know much Spanish but enough for numbers, courtesy and some basic questions, most staff know a little English and this wasn't at all a problem during my stay as a solo traveller. It seems like a budget hotel so don't expect 5* amenities everywhere but for what I paid, was a great hotel and have no real complaints. I was staying alone during my 25th birthday and was very surprised to see a cake appear in my room shortly after coming back from breakfast - it was very lovely. In a very nice peaceful corner of the island and definitely going again next year in February.

Hotel was nice. Staff were lovely. A big hotel but only one pool which wasn't huge and not enough sun loungers for the amount of people. Evening entertainment was ok but didn't start until 9pm or 9.30pm Overall it was nice. I had a good holiday and met some nice people.

I’ve just witnessed a serious incident at the pool where a guest slipped on the tiles, hit his head, and was left bleeding heavily. This is now the third fall I’ve seen in just two days. The tiles around the pool are dirty, slippery, and clearly unsafe. What was even more concerning was the lifeguard’s complete lack of response. He appeared unprepared, offered no real help, and there was no visible first aid kit, gloves, or proper procedure. Guests had to step in to assist the injured man while the lifeguard simply mopped up blood with no disinfectant. This is unacceptable for guest safety. I’ve enjoyed parts of my stay, but the poolside safety and lifeguard standards here are extremely poor, and I do not feel this meets the standards of a 4-star hotel. The food also leaves much to be desired. Overall, very disappointing.
