We had a wonderful stay at Outrigger Khao Lak this week, perfectly situated on the beautiful Bang Sak Beach. The resort layout is excellent, spacious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with direct beachfront access that truly showcases Khao Lak’s charm. Our room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable, with great attention to detail from housekeeping. We had a family adjoining room which was superb for the kids. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby (having said that we did have a car), though the hotel’s own breakfast deserves a special mention — a broad and high-quality selection with new daily varieties alongside the staples, all delivered with warm Thai hospitality. What really sets this property apart, however, is the staff. From check-in to checkout, every team member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Bom at reception for his professionalism, diligence, and consistently warm welcome and farewell — he even remembered our names throughout our stay! We also want to recognise K. Na, our room maid, whose thoroughness and attention to detail often go unnoticed but made a real difference to our experience. All in all, this is a fantastic beachfront resort with exceptional staff, good price point, great facilities, and the true spirit of Thai hospitality. Highly recommended.

The hotel is fantastic. Great location only 10 mins taxi drive to Khao Lak town centre. The service is great, friendly staff and always willing to help. Lyn was always greeting everyone and making sure everyone was happy. The reception staff are lovely and the cleaning staff did an amazing job. My only real issue was the smell in the room. 108 was a great room with bunk beds for two kids but the room smelt a little of damp or unclean air conditioning filter. The pool and beach are great and the kids spent a lot of time splashing about. They also loved the kids club.

It was an amazing experience and an incredible stay! A large room with a balcony — very clean and very comfortable. We also received some lovely little surprises for our honeymoon, which made our stay even more special. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, very friendly people in the restaurants and at the bar, and a great team at the pool who organized fun activities, played games, and handed out towels. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, a pleasant breakfast restaurant, beautifully maintained green and clean grounds, a nice sandy beach, and small shops right across the street where you can buy everything you need. Very convenient shuttle service to the city center and the market, and back. Many thanks to all members of the Outrigger team for this unforgettable vacation and wonderful experience - special thanks to Non, Baw, Shein, Love, and Tum. Overall, a perfect 10 out of 10! We will definitely come back (comeback, comeback) again.

This establishment offers a truly delightful experience for its guests. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, featuring excellent beds that promise a restful night's sleep. You can also expect daily replenishment of clean bottled water, a thoughtful touch. Moreover, the staff is exceptionally helpful and remarkably honest, contributing significantly to the overall positive atmosphere. It is a lovely hotel that caters to guest comfort with great attention to detail.

A stunning, spacious room that I happily spent hours in. Above all, quiet and peaceful. Very nice, tasty food and attentive staff. Accompanied by a tremendous singer, Winnie! What a voice!! It felt like we had our own little concert at dinner time. The head chef, Tao was always making time to talk to people and making us feel welcome to his restaurants. The maids took our heart, they are the sweetest people and always so helpful. There is 24h amenities support too. The tour operator rep, Nutty was equally wonderful. She had been to the islands herself and was best placed to give great advice. I could have sat speaking to her for hours. Unfortunately, on the 5th day early morning, my partner needed to be taken to the hospital and was kept in. So, we lost 2 nights at the resort. We did ask for a partial refund, it would have been a nice gesture to consider this, but upon asking, they said no. When I dropped my partner to the hospital and returned for our luggage, the maids gave me a plate of fruit and a get well card for my partner. The sweetest of gestures, that really touched me. Thank you for that 🙏🏽 So the conclusion, a beautiful resort, with beautiful people. The service is also very good. A great place that you can relax in without leaving the resort if you wish as it’s right on the beach.

We had a great stay at this resort. The food was exceptional at all the restaurants we tried. Breakfast was amazing with so many options. Service was brilliant and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. A big shout of to the recreational guys that played soccer with my son and nephew, they thoroughly enjoyed that. The main pool was great but didn't have enough sun lounges to sit around the pool in my opinion and you had to get in early to secure a spot otherwise you literally couldn't sit around the pool. In the occasions where we had to find a spot at the beach it was hard to order food and drinks from where you were sitting on the beach as staff always found it hard to find you and I would have to run up to them at the pool area and ask them if that was our food and drink they they had on their trays. As mentioned previously, the food at the restaurants were amazing however the inside air conditioned restaurants were absolutely freezing to the point where my kids had to wear jumpers just to tolerate being inside. My other family member's that's came with us also couldn't tolerate how cold the AC was in the inside restaurants. We did pay extra for a pool access room which we were super excited about as the last time we went on holiday it was great for the kids as my husband and I could sit on the balcony and watch them swim while we relaxed. This particular pool access room had a fence at the front and overgrown shrubs where it made it impossible to see the kids and make sure that they were swimming safely. The pool access was also deeper than the height of my kids in some sections when I checked so I didn't feel safe letting them swim in there on their own, especially as we couldn't see them properly so a complete waste of money for us. I did call reception and voice my concerns but they said there were no others rooms which we could change to. Apart from that, we had a lovely stay. My only regret was paying the extra money for the pool access which we couldn't use in the end.

The breakfast at this hotel was absolutely amazing, honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had in my life! I really appreciated how clearly the hotel explained the peak hours for breakfast, but even when we came during those “busy” times, it never felt crowded thanks to the huge space and the incredible variety of food. I also loved that breakfast was served over such extended hours- it made the mornings feel so relaxed, with no rush to wake up early. This whole stay truly helped me unwind and reach a real state of relaxation. At first, we planned to go out and explore Khao Lak- visit waterfalls, local markets, and do some activities, but once we arrived at the hotel, we simply didn’t want to leave! The service was excellent throughout our stay, and there were so many on-site activities to enjoy. Most were completely free, and even the ones that required a small extra fee were very affordable and definitely worth it. Highly recommended! this place is perfect for anyone who wants to relax, recharge, and enjoy an unforgettable getaway! 🌿✨

We spent 6 nights at this amazing hotel. Before I reached this hotel, I worried if 6 nights will be too long as it locates at a small town making it not many commercial places to walk around. But when we arrive at the town and the hotel, I felt lucky we chose here to spend our holiday. It’s a wonderful place for relaxing and having a peaceful time. The reception was fantastic and the room was big and comfortable. I especially like the pool, not many people and it’s fun to swim around the hotel areas. The food was good with the price. Plus the sunset and sunrise is beautiful, we like to walk along the beach, not many people. Many massage shops come with restaurants by the beach. It’s really enjoyable that we have delicious sunset dinner after getting a comfortable massage 😆 Oh It’s around 10 mins by taxi to get to town. There r many delicious restaurants and some markets to walk around. It’s a surprise cause thought it will be boring. Anyway now I think 6 nights is too short time, next time we plan for a month-stay. My partner and I went to the JW Garden area in search of the animal feeding area. We went the wrong way and ended up meeting Benz at the yoga shala. Instead of just pointing us in the right direction, she kindly took the time to give us an impromptu tour through the beautiful veggie garden and then guided us to the animal feeding area. Along the way she shared so many interesting facts about the plants and wildlife, and it honestly turned into one of the highlights of our stay. We’re so grateful to Benz for going out of her way for us — it wasn’t something we expected, but it was such a special experience. The staff here in general are just incredible. They are attentive, warm, and beyond professional, and they make you feel truly cared for in every little interaction. Benz in particular stood out to us, but honestly, everyone we’ve met has gone above and beyond. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking. Everywhere you look there’s something beautiful to take in, but what really sets it apart are all the thoughtful little touches. Last night we joined the marshmallow bonfire at 6pm and it was such a fun and unique experience — and the best part is that the resort offers so many activities like this, completely free, that make your time here feel full and memorable. It’s those small details, and the way the staff put so much heart into everything, that makes this place truly special. I genuinely can’t fault a single thing about our stay. This has been one of the most incredible holidays we’ve ever had, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The Khao Lak Marriott is a true 5-star resort where everything is done at the highest level. The service is absolutely top the staff are professional, warm, and always attentive, making you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully designed rooms, a perfect beachfront location, and world class facilities. There are plenty of activities to enjoy right at the resort a garden farm, water sports and wellness programs to cooking classes and family friendly entertainment. Whether you want to stay active or simply relax, the Marriott has it all. Dining is another highlight. The hotel offers several restaurants and bars, each with its own atmosphere and menu, ranging from Thai specialties to international cuisine. Chef Mohan gave us the best feeling and the most special treatment. The variety and quality of the food make it easy to enjoy something different every day without even leaving the resort. Service was amazing!!
