Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Outrigger Khao Lak this week, perfectly situated on the beautiful Bang Sak Beach. The resort layout is excellent, spacious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with direct beachfront access that truly showcases Khao Lak’s charm. Our room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable, with great attention to detail from housekeeping. We had a family adjoining room which was superb for the kids. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby (having said that we did have a car), though the hotel’s own breakfast deserves a special mention — a broad and high-quality selection with new daily varieties alongside the staples, all delivered with warm Thai hospitality. What really sets this property apart, however, is the staff. From check-in to checkout, every team member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Bom at reception for his professionalism, diligence, and consistently warm welcome and farewell — he even remembered our names throughout our stay! We also want to recognise K. Na, our room maid, whose thoroughness and attention to detail often go unnoticed but made a real difference to our experience. All in all, this is a fantastic beachfront resort with exceptional staff, good price point, great facilities, and the true spirit of Thai hospitality. Highly recommended.

The hotel is fantastic. Great location only 10 mins taxi drive to Khao Lak town centre. The service is great, friendly staff and always willing to help. Lyn was always greeting everyone and making sure everyone was happy. The reception staff are lovely and the cleaning staff did an amazing job. My only real issue was the smell in the room. 108 was a great room with bunk beds for two kids but the room smelt a little of damp or unclean air conditioning filter. The pool and beach are great and the kids spent a lot of time splashing about. They also loved the kids club.

It was an amazing experience and an incredible stay! A large room with a balcony — very clean and very comfortable. We also received some lovely little surprises for our honeymoon, which made our stay even more special. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, very friendly people in the restaurants and at the bar, and a great team at the pool who organized fun activities, played games, and handed out towels. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, a pleasant breakfast restaurant, beautifully maintained green and clean grounds, a nice sandy beach, and small shops right across the street where you can buy everything you need. Very convenient shuttle service to the city center and the market, and back. Many thanks to all members of the Outrigger team for this unforgettable vacation and wonderful experience - special thanks to Non, Baw, Shein, Love, and Tum. Overall, a perfect 10 out of 10! We will definitely come back (comeback, comeback) again.

This establishment offers a truly delightful experience for its guests. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, featuring excellent beds that promise a restful night's sleep. You can also expect daily replenishment of clean bottled water, a thoughtful touch. Moreover, the staff is exceptionally helpful and remarkably honest, contributing significantly to the overall positive atmosphere. It is a lovely hotel that caters to guest comfort with great attention to detail.

A stunning, spacious room that I happily spent hours in. Above all, quiet and peaceful. Very nice, tasty food and attentive staff. Accompanied by a tremendous singer, Winnie! What a voice!! It felt like we had our own little concert at dinner time. The head chef, Tao was always making time to talk to people and making us feel welcome to his restaurants. The maids took our heart, they are the sweetest people and always so helpful. There is 24h amenities support too. The tour operator rep, Nutty was equally wonderful. She had been to the islands herself and was best placed to give great advice. I could have sat speaking to her for hours. Unfortunately, on the 5th day early morning, my partner needed to be taken to the hospital and was kept in. So, we lost 2 nights at the resort. We did ask for a partial refund, it would have been a nice gesture to consider this, but upon asking, they said no. When I dropped my partner to the hospital and returned for our luggage, the maids gave me a plate of fruit and a get well card for my partner. The sweetest of gestures, that really touched me. Thank you for that 🙏🏽 So the conclusion, a beautiful resort, with beautiful people. The service is also very good. A great place that you can relax in without leaving the resort if you wish as it’s right on the beach.
