Recently spent a week here. The good points were: good location, clean, great water slide for kids, food was excellent and well priced. If you're coming from Australia you may need to brush up on your Russian. Most of the guests were Russian and amusingly the kids movie night was in Russian with English subtitles. It's a shame the main pool is adults only. The swim up bar is very basic and for the money, getting your cocktails in disposable plastic cups is a bit of a let down. It's a non smoking hotel yet there are several smoking areas located alongside main thoroughfares in the hotel. When you get a dozen people having a smoke (as was quite common) it goes right through the resort anyway. The rooms were cleaned well each day but we constantly had to chase towels which were not replaced. Minor issues aside it's a 500m walk from town and a lot quieter than the hectic Sands next door. Would stay here again.

Absolutely loooooved x10. We just did 2 weeks in Khao Lak. First 6 nights at x10 and next 8 nights at the Sands. X10 was amazing in sooo many ways... the kids club was amazing. There was always 3 young girls in there so bubbly and fun! Most of the activities were free and there was always something on! We stayed in the family side and it was perfect location. Right near the kids club, shallow pool right outside the room with volleyball net. The layout and design of this area was fantastic. The addition of the coffee machine in the main foyer area open early was such a winner! Meant we didn't have to walk over to the restaurant in the morning for our first coffee. The staff in the restaurant were all so lovely (especially Paw, who remembered our 3 boys names) The gym was clean, fresh and bright Small but has the basics and everything needed. It has sweat towels and water tank in there. I loved seeing all the adult activities happening around the resort as well, pool workout, yoga etc The 2 young men running these seemed so smiley and happy- full of energy and positivity. You guys are doing something very right so keep it up!! The food in the restaurant and buffet was hot and fresh. Our boys aged 4, 7 and 8 were sad to leave, and even when being at the Sands (kids paradise) they were still saying they missed x10 and wanted to go back Amazing vibe We had a really connected family time there which ill cherish forever! Oh and the free kids meals with adult purchase is amazing. Although its too far to walk to town with young kids, it is still worth the stay 100% . We hope to be back next year!!!

It would be great if they could install a large sign at the mouth of the alley. Parking is limited—about 10 spaces—and most guests are international tourists. Check-In Check-in was fast and efficient. The lobby is comfortable, with self-service drinks available at all times next to the reception. The welcome drink was fruit juice. Room I booked a standard room located near the lobby, which was convenient. All rooms are close to the pools since there are several on the property. The room itself was quite new, with two pillows per bed—one soft and one firm, though both felt similarly plush. I was satisfied with almost everything except the bathroom. The shower pressure was very low, making it less enjoyable. As many others have mentioned, the bathroom is small and lacks a partition for the wet zone, so the entire area stays wet. The toilet is positioned next to a frosted glass panel, which makes it awkwardly visible. At night, a bright light near the power outlet was glaring and uncomfortable. Facilities Although the hotel isn’t very large, it offers complete amenities, making everything easily accessible. The dining area includes both open-air and air-conditioned options. Next to the restaurant are a ping-pong table and a small library with computers for work or games. There are three main swimming pools: - The first, near the lobby, is curved and has a net for ball games. Beside it is a small kids’ club with a sandbox for building sandcastles. - The second pool, next to the restaurant, features a water slide of moderate height—fun to use without being tiring to climb. - The third pool is by the beach and reserved for adults; children are not allowed. Next to it are a pool bar and a seafood restaurant. A short walk leads to the beach, which is sandy and free of rocks—perfect for swimming. Breakfast The breakfast menu changes daily, offering a wide variety of tasty dishes in generous portions. Food rarely runs out, as it’s replenished regularly. Seating is ample. For Thai guests, I highly recommend the rice noodles (kanom jeen)—the curry sauce is rich and flavorful. Unlike typical shops where the ratio is 80% soup to 20% fish, here it’s reversed: 80% fish to 20% soup. I’m already craving another round! Service The staff were very attentive and made Thai guests feel just as welcome as international visitors. It was a refreshing change from some hotels that seem to overlook local tourists. Check-Out Check-out was quick and smooth. I was very impressed and would definitely return. This hotel is located next to a popular resort with a water park, but the atmosphere is completely different. While that resort is lively and bustling, this one offers a calm, relaxing, and comfortable experience.

We had a wonderful stay at X10 Khao Lak Beach Resort! Thank you to all the staff for making our vacation so special — full of fun and relaxation. Everyone was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to the amazing staff at the Kids Club — our son had the best time ever there! We truly appreciate everything and would love to come back someday.

This is by far the best resort living experience in my life. Staff are welcoming and super friendly, if you need room service for food they can offer you for 24hrs, swimming pools are massive and kids friendly, you have SPA massage, kids play room, fitness room, you name it. It is heaven for family trip, it also gets easy access to the high street, only takes 10 mins by walk, it has all the western and eastern food and recreation! 10 stars recommended!
