A refurbished hotel for sure. The rooms were just fine. Nothing special really. The breakfast was great if not a little pricey. Room service was fast, efficient, and expensive but that comes with the territory. The staff is beyond outstanding. At every turn they were helpful, courteous, and right where the needed to be. I had a special request for a room and the were able to accommodate on my second night. They even moved my luggage. Very helpful. I'm what you would call a professional traveler and if I say something was good that is high praise for sure. I'd stay here again and since I have some contracts in the works, it is highly likely that I will.

Had my wedding banquet, solemnisation and tea ceremony all at voco hotel. Really greatful for the amazing team from voco for making my wedding a success! Special thanks to Alvin Kee for ensuring that nothing goes wrong on the day and solving issues that I didn't foresee on the day itself. Thankful for Haze Yong for meeting all our demands up to the very day itself and splitting the payment for credit card purposes! Great wedding package from voco hotel itself with a bottle of champagne and a whole cake from D9. Free flow white wine, red wine and beer. Alvin arranged for my leftover refreshments like quiche and livestation to be packed to not waste. Our wedding banquet food was packed into a bento and delivered to our room as we really no not have time to eat during our big day. Many compliments were given for the food and service that day. Those considering voco for their wedding, have faith in the service level here. Top notch service level. I did not at any point in time feel that the service was inadequate. I was even allowed to check into my bridal suite earlier than expected! Overall will highly recommend voco hotel for wedding and stay!

I held my wedding reception here. It went amazingly well. Both the deluxe room and Bridal Suite were fantastic. Service was perfect during our stay and during the wedding reception as well. My wife and I will always be grateful to have been assisted by the Catering Sales Manager, Sunshine Garcia, throughout the whole planning process. Our sincere appreciation to Alvin who was our banquet manager and Dan who assisted us with the Audio Visual responsibilities.

Very good service and the old school hotel rooms which is spacious. Special mention to Fai, who went all out to get me a room that met my requests due to injured knees. The staff is attentive and the room service is great. Only downside is the location that is the end of Orchard road. It is still accessible to many attractions with lots of mrt and busses. Just a personal preference as I am not a fan of staying in Orchard Road. Keep up the good job.

I expected to feel like I was in a 5-star hotel — but sadly, it didn’t come across that way. The overall aesthetic was updated and had a laid-back, neutral colour scheme with a pop of colour, but it still lacked the elevated atmosphere I would associate with a luxury hotel. The 69m² suite was spacious, and I liked the size of the bathroom. However, the space lacked cohesiveness in its style and décor. I expected a “wow” moment, but instead it felt 🥱 uninspiring, and I was honestly let down. The wedding event setup was a disappointment. The artificial floral arrangements did not reflect a 5-star standard — the colours and styles were mismatched and felt uncoordinated. There was clear visual discord between the décor outside the ballroom, inside the ballroom, and on the stage. The mood shifted from bright, to demure, to English-rose country, and nothing tied together cohesively. The theme also did not harmonise with the couple’s look, and the battery-operated candles created an unintended funeral-like ambience rather than romance. Even if the décor came from an external vendor, I would still expect a 5-star hotel to advise, curate, or enforce basic aesthetic quality control. The food was ordinary — acceptable and typical of a standard wedding banquet, but not memorable. For a venue rated as 5-stars, I expected more refinement in both presentation and taste. I could have had something similar at other Chinese restaurants for a lower package price. However, I do have to say the ingredients were fresh 👍🏼👍🏼.
