Really amazing hotel. Beautiful villas. Staff is outstanding. Friendly and very service minded. Huge pool available for swimming and the pool at your villa is also surprisingly large. "Only" 4 stars in location as the beach is not great.

An amazing stay at the Residence ! Everything was perfect - the staff was very kind, the villa was amazing, and we loved watching the sunset in the pool/beach area every night. Thanks a lot to Lukman for his yoga classes, a great teacher in a very peaceful spot of the hotel !

When we checked out they put $1,200 in fraudulent tips in our invoices. I asked to view the receipts. They could only show a couple and most were someone else’s signature but the biggest tip charges on our invoices were from “receipts” they could not produce. Such as a drink order from an all inclusive stay with an $80.00 tip. Also, they tried to charge us $300 in food but we paid for the all inclusive package so that’s fraud. The beaches are full of seaweed and the employees told us once we were there that there are poisonous things in the water so that’s why you never see anyone on the beach and if you go in the ocean there to use water shoes so you don’t step on whatever is poisonous. I missed exactly what was poisonous due to language barrier. Needless to say, I would NEVER be back. I would rate in the negative if I could. Terrible end to a fantastic month - long honeymoon throughout Africa. Expensive, fraudulent, and unfriendly with terrible food and no entertainment.

Highly recommend this hotel, especially the yoga classes with Lukman! He is a very experienced and professional yoga instructor. Some of the best classes I have been to. It added to the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel and made the trip feel even more like a perfect calming retreat. He is an asset to the hotel and I highly recommend partaking in his classes!

Don’t look beyond this hotel if you are a family travelling for the calm views of the turquoise hues. The hotel is spectacular. Super clean beach and beyond gorgeous property. We had an ocean front villa which was amazing. We travelled with our two year old son and the attention to detail the hotel had was something. They even put a booster seat on our bicycle so we can could move around the property with ease. The food and just super. It was my birthday so we spent the evening at the jetty bar. Overall one of the best stays I’ve had in Africa. Tip: choose to stay here towards the end of your trip and go all inclusive. You won’t be disappointed.
