We visited The Fortress Resort & Spa for our office trip, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The food was great. The hotel’s serene atmosphere and scenic surroundings made it an ideal place to relax and unwind. We sincerely appreciate the hospitality extended to our entire team and the effort taken to make our stay memorable. My stay at The Fortress Resort & Spa in Galle was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the sea. The attention to detail throughout the resort, from the decor to the landscaping, really adds to the peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. The food was another highlight – every meal was delicious, with a great mix of local and international options. The staff were always attentive and kind, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Whether you're looking to relax by the pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or explore Galle Fort nearby, this resort is the perfect base. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene, high-end experience on the southern coast of Sri Lanka.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! From the warm and attentive staff to the delicious food and stunning architecture, everything was exceptional. It truly felt like spending a few days in a colonial palace. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and catered to all our needs with genuine care. Our room was beautifully designed and very cozy. We’ll definitely be visiting again — a must-try for anyone who wants to experience the true beauty of Sri Lankan nature and hospitality.

An amazing resort. The rooms and view are great. We spent there a night before flying out of Sri-lanca and we enjoyed every minute of it. The ocean was rough when we were there so didn't get a chance to swim but did get a chance to see some sea turtles swimming next to the hotel. The hotel is luxurious and the breakfast was amazing with a great variety to choose from. The pool is huge and it's nice to swim in the pool and enjoy the colorful sunsets. Highly recommended, choose a Seaview room it's worth it.

Just finished a 3 night stay at The Fortress. The staff were phenomenal, always so attentive and eager to help with anything. It’s right on the ocean and we felt so relaxed the whole time listening to the waves. The food at the restaurant was a high quality, there were a lot of small details which made our stay extra special, such as the pianist at dinner and the turndown service. We had a day trip and they even packaged a takeaway breakfast for us to take very early. Two recommendations: please make decaf coffee available and also a pedicure as it was offered on the spa menu but not available. I recognise we were there mid season, this may help to explain this. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend to friends and family. :)
