Her patience and enthusiasm made me feel instantly welcome and confident about choosing SLS Dubai for my next stay. Even though I wasn’t a guest yet, Sonia treated me with the same level of care and attention as if I already were. That kind of hospitality speaks volumes about the hotel’s culture and commitment to excellence. If the rest of the experience is anything like the service Sonia provided, I’m certain my future stay will be incredible. SLS Dubai is a stunning hotel with modern decor, breathtaking views, and impeccable housekeeping. The balcony was a highlight, and its central location made getting around easy. However, for a luxury property, a few details fell short: no free ice or ice machine (20 AED charge per bucket), an overly small fridge filled with minibar items, still too small to fit takeout container when empty, and no microwave to warm leftovers. The lack of a complimentary airport shuttle was also disappointing, especially since Uber was much cheaper. Overall, a beautiful stay — stylish, clean, and luxurious — but could use more guest-friendly conveniences.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) Title: *Stylish Luxury Stay in the Heart of Dubai — But Some Comforts Fell Short* My group of five women stayed at SLS Dubai for six nights, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. The building itself is stunning — modern, elegant, and stylish from the moment you walk in. The decor exudes luxury and sophistication, and the views from our room were absolutely breathtaking. The balcony was a huge plus, perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evenings. Housekeeping was impeccable throughout our stay — everything was spotless and refreshed daily. The hotel’s location in the heart of Dubai made it easy to get around, and the overall vibe felt upscale and vibrant. It’s definitely a luxury property that delivers on aesthetics and ambience. That said, for the price point, we expected more comfort and convenience: - No free ice or ice station anywhere in the hotel. Guests are charged 20 AED just to receive ice, which felt unreasonable after a hot day out exploring or lounging on the balcony. If rooms come with an ice bucket and cocktail shaker, access to ice should be complimentary. - The mini fridge is very small and filled entirely with minibar items. To chill your own drinks or store a small takeaway, you’d need to empty it completely — and even then, there’s barely space for a small container. - No microwave in the rooms. For long stays, especially after dining out, not having a way to reheat food was a real inconvenience. - Lastly, no free airport shuttle. The hotel offers a paid service, but it was far pricier than a regular Uber, which was much more affordable and efficient. Despite these drawbacks, we still enjoyed our time at SLS Dubai — the ambiance, cleanliness, and views make it a great choice for a short luxury getaway. However, a few thoughtful guest-friendly touches would elevate the experience from great to exceptional.
