Highly Recommend This Hotel in Koh Samui. The room is very clean, and every staff member truly has a service-minded heart. Their professionalism and kindness made my stay wonderful with the beautiful quiet beach in front of the hotel. The location is super convenient, close to 7-Eleven, massage shops, and the local markets. It’s also easy to travel from here to any beach on the island. I was especially impressed with the breakfast team, they were so friendly, warm smile and attentive. The garden here is beautiful and well-kept, and the resort is very clean overall. There’s also a good-size gym for those who like to stay active while traveling, plus a shuttle service that can take you around the resort. You can also enjoy a relaxing walk and get some light exercise inside the property. The resort clearly shows its age—it was built in the mid-1980s, and that’s evident throughout. Guests should set expectations accordingly. The weakest point for me was the bathroom, which felt very dated with its orange-yellow tiles, dark counters, and basic fixtures that lacked any modern touch. The pools also carry a distinctly retro vibe from the late ’80s or early ’90s, though they were spotless and well looked after. On the brighter side, the gardens and outdoor areas were lovely and carefully maintained, and the staff were consistently welcoming, professional, and eager to assist. The beachfront was pristine and well organized, with plenty of comfortable loungers always available, and convenient food and drink service through a simple phone QR code. The dining options were average—nothing to rave about, but nothing disappointing either—with attentive service throughout. The hotel sits on Chaweng Noi Beach, a quieter, more secluded area that still offers easy access to the livelier Chaweng Beach within a short taxi ride. Nearby, there’s a 7-Eleven, a pharmacy, and a few local spots to eat or grab a drink. Overall, while the property is dated in appearance, the combination of location, service, and price makes it a solid and worthwhile choice for a relaxed stay.

Our stay at Sheraton Samui was absolutely wonderful! 🌺 The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. The breakfast was delicious, the beach is just steps away, and the atmosphere feels calm and relaxing — everything you need for a perfect getaway. I especially want to thank Kelly (Noppakeat), who truly made our stay special 💛 He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Hello Sheraton Samui, It’s always a pleasure staying at this beautiful hotel. The staff are amazing, and the food is excellent. This was our second visit, and this time we came to celebrate our daughter’s 4th birthday. A special thank you to Chef Coco and the team for making her birthday extra special with a surprise cake and a lovely birthday song. Your warm hospitality and thoughtful gesture made our stay truly memorable. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Getting the negatives out of the way first. The property is old. I believe that it was built in 1986, and it shows. If you keep this in mind to temper expectations about the property I think the majority of people will be satisfied with their stay here. The bathroom in the room was probably the worst part of the experience at this resort. Walls covered in square yellow/orange tiles, black rounded counter top, and no modern shower heads. It just is an uninviting space. The pools are also very much dated and scream late 80's early 90's decor. But they were very well maintained and clean at all times during my stay. Moving on from those things, the grounds of the resort are well kept and inviting to look at. The staff were inviting and friendly at all times and reponded to all of my enquires appropriately. The beachfront of the property was beautiful and immaculately kept. There were many newish sun loungers both surrounding the pools and on the beach and I never had a problem securing 2 of them in my prefered area at any point in the day. Food and drink service is available at the pool and beach by scanning a QR code on phone so no need to get up and walk to the bar yourself. I found all three restaurants to be perfectly fine. Nothing is going to blow you away, but nothing was bad. Service both at the beach and at the restaurants was very good and all staff seemed to be doing their best to interact with guests and keep them happy. The location of this resort is on Chaweng Noi Beach, which is a smaller, more isolated area than regular Chaweng Beach. I personally loved the location as the beach feels almost private but you can still get to the nightlife area of Chaweng in about 5 minutes via taxi. There is a 7-11, pharmacy, and a few restaurants/bars within walking distance (2-3 mins) of the property as well. Overall, I would stay here again as the price point for the amount of amenities and location are very competetive, especially compared to the other Marriott Bonvoy properties on the island.
