We got a suite and it was stunning. It had lots of space, great view, well finished and furnished. The suite included access to the executive lounge where there was free afternoon tea between two and four and cocktails between 630 and 730. If you don’t have kids, you can also go to cocktails earlier from 530. We have two small children a 3 1/2 year-old and a 4 months year-old and we were able to put the 3 1/2 year-old in a separate room to us and the newborn into the second bathroom in his cot. Worked really well. The hotel is generally good value for a five star in the location it is in. The swimming pool was great, but unfortunately the slide was under renovation for the entirety of our four days stay. Kids club was very comprehensively kitted out although the scheduled activities aimed at kids slightly older than my daughter. We used Grab Tuk Tuk to go to Knight markets and temples and my daughter loved them. Software friendly and accommodating throughout. Generally a great hotel for Chiang Mai.

This is a luxurious hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai. The hotel is large and spacious, perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooms are clean and have beautiful mountain views. All hotel staff are friendly and provide professional service. The Horizon Club is also a very impressive place with excellent service. The hotel breakfast is also varied and delicious. Overall, Shangri-la is one of the best hotels in Chiang Mai.

Super warm hospitality and def embodied the Thai culture, everyone is smiling and always checking in on us. Special shout out to Joe the housekeeper on our floor. He really made the hotel stay a much much nicer stay. He cleaned our rooms not once but sometimes twice in a day! Min was also another true ambassador for the hotel and Chiang Mai. Recommending us to few areas and always making sure we are looked after.. We had the horizon club and thought it was great value they had breakfast, tea and happy hour. The rooms was nice and spacious with all the amenities provided. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I visited the Shangri-La for a business trip and had a fantastic stay in a room on the 12th floor. There was a small hiccup during check-in, but the team resolved it quickly and genuinely cared. Slept like a king (very comfortable beds). The desk and Wi-Fi were great for getting some work done in the early mornings. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of healthy options. The team was welcoming, caring, and on point. Big thanks to the team!

Very comfortable hotel in Chiang Mai! Everything was perfect and our special requests were accommodated by the hotel. The hotel and room overall is very clean. They also have a large outdoor pool, slide, and kid’s play area. Additionally, there is a health club(no extra cost for hotel guests), with a gym, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room! The buffet has so many options and the food is absolutely delicious! The crispy bacon was so fresh and tasted like real bacon! Some of the facilities like the room, pool, and health club are a little outdated, but well maintained so it’s still very nice.
