Just back from our 2nd yr visit to this Hotel. We were on 8th floor this time. Fabulous views and my husband just loves the whirlpool bath on balcony. Loved breakfast every morning. Only downside was the Spa which is important to us. Needs work done .Sauna not hot enough. Metal beds in spa pool need to be cleaned also which is why im giving 4.Apart from that all staff are brilliant and a great Hotel.

Gorgeous hotel stay, probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve been in abroad. It is located up on the hill which was grand for my partner and I. it’s a short walk from all the restaurants. there are quite a few steps. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff have to be commended, they were wonderful and work very hard. We paid for the jacuzzi on the balcony in our room which we used once, such a luxury. I gave the room 4 stars as there was a hole in the side of the jacuzzi so we could not fill it above a certain height. Overall I’d recommend to couples.

Hotel rooms and balcony are very nice. Steep walk uphill with loads of steps to get to hotel but that just comes with the area. Most staff were very helpful but the big issue is with the pool area. Lifeguard was extremely rude. It’s an adults only hotel and not allowed a ball (which I kinda get) in the pool or even a float to lie on. Life guard watched us bring the float down, set up in pool and only when we went to use he came over with an attitude telling us you’re not allowed a float in the pool, cannot understand why you can’t have a normal float in the pool.Never seen the likes of it for what would other wise have been a great stay.

So I struggle with this saying as several pros but some major cons. Pros: location, staff friendly and helpful, balcony great, bathroom had good shower water pressure, solarium nice, breakfast great (wish it opened earlier though), elevator works well. Room had a microwave and stove and fridge. Cons: location (up huge hill with lots of stairs from the main shopping and dining options), Whirlpool on balcony gross (rinsed it 3 times and still unclean), shower had mildew, toilet ran water all day, difficult to get taxi directly from hotel (but maybe front desk could help but there ain’t a taxi stand close to hotel front door), loud hotel at night, a/c worked well but I kept having issues with it going off (finally downloaded the manual guide online to get it to work properly), cockroach, need kitchen trash can with lid (this would help with bugs), need Kleenex/tissue box, no washcloth or loofa (bought a body sponge at supermarket which worked great; 2 euros only); body wash in shower was same as hand soap at sink so I bought myself some real body wash at grocery store. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the beach from the hotel and no public transport to get there (only taxi or walk). I think if this hotel just did some minor maintenance improvements it would be great. Well and some way to get a taxi easily. Not a hotel for folks with mobility issues

If you want to sleep at night bring industrial ear plugs. The jacuzzi by the pool doesn't work and a huge part of a balcony fell into the freezing cold pool. The pool has a lifeguard and he's great, helps with parasols and loungers. The hotel supplies beach towels. The pool bar is good and the two girls that run it are lovely.
