10 Family's went for our sons wedding there. The staff went above and beyond to make sure it was a very memorable experience. The resort itself is very nice. The food is definitely decided by an individuals own palate. I personally enjoyed most of my meals. The entertainment VIBE Team did a great job daily. We had butler's because we opted for Diamond Club and could not have been luckier to have met 3 of the nicest men in Jamaica. I would recommend anyone considering a stay here to absolutely do so.

My stay at this resort has been extremely disappointing. The only highlight of the trip was the incredible tour through Prime — especially our guide, Jahee. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make that part of our vacation special. Unfortunately, everything else was a letdown. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive, and maintenance issues were never handled in a timely manner. Our outlets didn’t work for an entire day, leaving us unable to dry our hair or get ready. Because of this, we missed our dinner reservation — and no one offered any apology or accommodation. When we tried to rebook the next day, we were told we couldn’t because we didn’t have the app. It felt like they were more interested in making excuses than helping guests. The pool bar staff was rude, room service was painfully slow, and one night our food never came at all. The shower flooded after just a short use, and it took ages to get any response from maintenance. The spa experience was the final straw. We scheduled a 60-minute massage and waited at the resort all day for this appointment, only to arrive and find out they had booked us for 25 minutes instead. There was no apology, no effort to make it right, and the overall environment was unprofessional and poorly run. Honestly, the spa should be shut down until it’s properly managed. To be fair, the food itself was good, and the male staff members we encountered were kind and respectful. But good food isn’t enough to make up for how poorly everything else was handled. I leave tomorrow, and honestly, I can’t leave soon enough. This resort needs serious improvements in customer service, communication, maintenance, and spa operations. I would not recommend staying here in its current state.

Went to enjoy a relaxing getaway with my expecting wife. (Just needed a place to unplug and reset from life) Our package included access to a "butler service", which may have been the best part of the whole experience. We had 2 amazing gentleman, Demar and Dan, who we were able to communicate with through an app. We tried not to bother them too much but they made all of our dinner reservations, updated us daily on whatever events would be happening, brought us requested food and drinks whenever we were feeling too lazy to get them, turn down services... the works. On our last night, they snuck into our suite after escorting us to dinner and filled it with balloons and romantic lighting to congratulate us on the upcoming birth of our new child. The food, drink, and events were of course outstanding but Demar and Dan were really the highlight of our trip. Can't thank them enough and I hope this review encourages people to seek them out if they plan on staying at the Royalton Blue Waters.

I do NOT recommend this resort and have only been here one day. Poor, unprofessional customer service upon check-in. Mediocre “ocean view” rooms. Supposed to be fully stocked with drinks and my room had an empty fridge. No desk chair. I was told “only some rooms have them.” Titanium Elite Marriott status and probably any other Marriott member status means nothing here. They are quick to tell you that they are not a Marriott establishment but “only affiliated with Marriott.” What exactly does that mean? I booked my stay on the Marriott BonVoy App. I called Titanium support only for him to run down a list of complaints from other guests who have stayed at the Royalton. Honestly, this “Autogragh Collection” Royalton Resort shames the Marriott Brand. Definitely no luxury here. A relative arrived on her first day to find her bathroom floor completely flooded. If I wasn’t here for a family wedding, I would leave and find somewhere else to stay. Marriott members beware. You’ve been warned. Day 3: More disappointing news to share. Getting ready for wedding only to find steamer missing. Started raining from tropical storm and no umbrella in room as supposed to be. Had to wait and wait for housekeeping to bring what should have already been there. Tried to order room service and many of the items on the menu they do not have. Good luck getting reservations at the restaurants of your choosing. Raggedy resort.

We recently spent five nights at Blue Water Resort. After nearly 15 hours of travel, we were exhausted upon arrival, but the staff welcomed us right away and the service at check-in was excellent. Unfortunately, my first impression was dampened a bit when, immediately after checking in, I was approached by a salesperson offering a “90-minute” presentation the next morning. It was pitched as a quick breakfast and a free cabana in exchange for attending. Personally, I don’t think the arrival moment is the best time to approach guests with sales pitches—especially after long travel days. Someone from our group did attend, and it ended up lasting close to four hours. It was a high-pressure presentation about becoming a Royalton member for around $14,000, supposedly offering discounts at their resorts worldwide. He ultimately left without signing anything—and didn’t even get the promised cabana since he didn’t want to sign before reading the agreement. I was very glad I opted out. While waiting for our room (about an hour and a half), we sat in the beautiful lobby—though it was quite hot since there didn’t seem to have much air conditioning. Once our room was ready, the view from our balcony completely won us over. It was stunning. The room itself was lovely, but we did notice some minor maintenance issues over time: the balcony door didn’t lock properly, there was a rough drywall patch in the bathroom, and the hot tub jets wouldn’t stay on. Small things, but surprising for a five-star resort. We were supposed to have three bottles of in-room liquor, which arrived only after I asked twice. Our wristbands also had issues unlocking the door, and one door never worked at all, so we had to access our suite through the adjoining room. None of this ruined our trip, but again, not quite five-star quality. Housekeeping was great—very thorough and responsive when one of the kids spilled soda in bed. However, room service and restocking were hit or miss. We had seven people in a two-bedroom suite, yet the fridge restock included only four waters, six beers (none of us drink beer), and a few sodas. After requesting more, we finally got 15 waters, 10 Coke Zeros, and plenty of towels. Our room came with a butler, who was incredibly helpful with dinner reservations, especially for our large group. Dining overall was a highlight. The Italian restaurant was decent, the steakhouse excellent (highly recommend the rib-eye), and the hibachi not only good but entertaining thanks to the lively chef. The surprise standout was the Indian restaurant—absolutely delicious. I hadn’t planned to try it but ended up loving it. For lunch, the Jerk Hut became our daily go-to—the jerk chicken was incredible. Breakfast at the buffet was the weakest meal, though. By 8:30 or 9 a.m., much of the food was picked over, and the omelet line was long. Drink quality varied by bartender—some mixed them perfectly, others a bit too strong—but all the bartenders were friendly and fun. The gym was a pleasant surprise. Based on the photos I’d seen beforehand, I expected just a few treadmills and some dumbbells, but it was much better equipped than that. It had multiple machines, a couple of squat racks, a recumbent bike, and a stationary bike. I only managed to work out a few times since it got busier as the week went on, but overall, it exceeded my expectations. The Vibe Crew was a huge plus. They kept the kids entertained all day with pool games, volleyball, dancing, and scavenger hunts. All in all, we had an amazing time. The views were beautiful, the atmosphere relaxing, and the people genuinely kind. If your goal is simply to unwind by the pool or beach with a drink in hand, Blue Water Resort delivers. But if you’re expecting a flawless five-star experience with top-tier amenities and seamless service, you may find it falls a bit short.
