The front desk team was excellent. We arrived at 2AM in the morning and they took care of us immediately. Also, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and amazing. The service and the quality and variety of the food was excellent. I did get lost trying to find my way around the boat a few times, but it was part of the experience. My room was surprisingly spacious, clean and comfortable and the room extras such as robe, shampoo etc... were very good. The gym was good but a few of the machines needed repairs but there was plenty of other ones to do. I did not use the pool, but it looked very cleaned, small and well-kept and also, it had a lifeguard. I did not mind the location because it is very easy to get an Uber but definitely far from the Dubai action. Also, I like the quiet in the morning's decks and reading areas. I found this hotel very unique, interesting and all around comfortable. Overall, I will definitely stay again at QE2 and I am recommending it to my friends.

I stayed at the Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel for almost ten days till now ,, im writing this review while im still there, and it is truly an unforgettable experience. The reception staff were incredibly kind and welcoming . they even offered me a complimentary coffee just to make me feel at home. Housekeeping was excellent, and every staff member I met was polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Once, I got lost inside the ship, and one of the staff kindly walked me all the way. When I thanked him, he smiled and said, “We’re here because of you.” Today, I was feeling down, but I was surprised by a call from room service offering me a complimentary sweet treat . it honestly made my day. The room rates are very reasonable, and I can’t even decide what I loved more , the staff, the place itself, or the whole experience. They truly respect guests’ privacy and do everything they can to make you comfortable. I’m genuinely grateful to everyone at this wonderful hotel — they made my stay so special. 💛

We had a really pleasant stay at QE2 hotel. The staff made all the difference. At reception, Putri was warm and welcoming, and she even gave us an upgrade which was such a nice surprise. She was genuinely friendly and made check-in feel easy. Over at the Lido restaurant, Mary stood out as well—she was incredibly helpful in explaining how we could get a discounted price, and her service felt thoughtful. The food there was good, and the cozy ambience made every meal enjoyable. What made the stay unforgettable though was exploring the ship itself. Since the QE2 is such a historic cruise liner, walking through it felt like traveling back in time. They’ve kept so much of the original facade and character intact, and discovering all those details was a highlight of our stay. Overall, I’d give it 4 out of 5. The staff and the history of the ship really stood out, though I think a few updates to the rooms and maybe more variety at breakfast would make the experience even better. Still, it’s a place we’ll definitely recommend and would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Queen Elizabeth 2 to celebrate my husband's birthday! A huge thanks to Mr. Shine from Customer Care, and the F&B team - Mr. Sunder, Abdullah, and the rest of the staff for their warm hospitality. They treated us with such kindness and made the day extra special with a lovely cake and birthday wishes. Everything was perfectly arranged, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Thank you all for making our celebration memorable - we'll definitely cherish this experience! 💖

This is a difficult review to write as the QE2 is a very famous passenger liner (not a cruise ship) converted into a hotel, which means that it is nothing like a normal hotel and cannot be judged as one. By necessity it is moored in the docks area far from the city and there is almost nothing nearby. However that is rapidly changing and the whole area is undergoing massive regeneration. The new reception building is first class as are the staff. We were made most welcome and shown to our room (cabin) by a consierge, who explained the layout of the ship to us. The cabins have been very successfully converted into modern hotel rooms with many of the original ship fittings retained, providing a nostalgic touch. The dining facilities were excellent. A massive buffet breakfast to start and an excellent evening meal with our half board package. This a full three courses from the a la carte menu, a touch of class. The downside of the dining is that it is at the rear of the hotel and if you have a room at the front then it is a long walk. If you are expecting a modern conversion then you will be disappointed as the hotel has retained many of the ship's fixtures and fittings, which, although very high quality are now a bit dated. Each day there is a Heritage Tour of the hotel where the history of the ship is explained. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend it It is an experience not to be missed, not a hotel stay.
