My family and I had a great stay at this hotel in October. Our rooms were clean and tidy, with great views. The location is perfect, the price was good, and the breakfast was good too. The staff were friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed in several IHG hotels in Manhattan (including The Barclay several times) and this has easily been the best. We highly recommend this hotel.

In town for a work event & nothing is better than having great service at your hotel restaurant/bar. Nick was our server and he went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and satisfied. Prices are classic New York but the food and drinks were great. I ordered the black manhattan and it did not disappoint.

We “splurged “ to stay at this hotel, our first at an Intercontinental. Pros: our upgraded corner room had a great view, comfortable bed and large shower. Every employee we encountered was courteous and helpful. The location was perfect, close to many theaters. Cons: It felt like a money extraction machine. Beware, they charge a “resort fee”: $40/day. How they claim to be a resort when there is no pool is beyond me. You can redeem $30 of the fee for food/drinks BUT not for breakfast. If you don’t redeem it before midnight, it resets and you lose it.

Lovely hotel. Staff at desk, on doors as well as outside the building were all friendly snd helpful if needed. Our room was a basic room with not much of a view but we were happy as we were only in there to sleep. The beds were so comfy and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. Cleaner Shiren was lovely and went above and beyond. Hotel in a great location too, near subway station and round corner from Times Square.

As I reiterated many times to your colleagues at the IHG Guest Relations department that the hotels clearly failed the cleaning standard because on the first day when we checked in the bed sheets and pillowcase, had red bugs on them. The second day the housekeeper brought us dirty bed sheets and linens again the bed sheets and linens were having dirty stains on them and she actually used her shoes to step on it.I had to purchase my own electric kettle because the two kettles they provided were broken. I had to clean up the bathroom at my room because they refused to come on the second day when the night duty manager named DAVID CORTES threatened me with two security guards that broken into my room without consents. Angela is the front office manager who repeatedly lied to me about the water and amenity availability. She promised to send me the laundry request forms but I never received them in the three days I stayed. And she also refused to even give me bottled waters even though each room each night received at least two complimentary water. Regarding the hotel’s failure to properly sanitizes the room, they had not ever sprayed the disinfectants of my toilets in the three days while I stayed here. David Cortes, the housekeeping manager repeatedly lied to me that the bed was changed and toilet seat was disinfected even though they did not. I think this was probably the worst Intercontinental hotels I have ever stayed at. On the first day when I checked in the front desk associate whom assisted me with checking in his name is Ahmad. He was extremely rude and even pointed his finger at me several times and he demanded me to raise my voice and even use his finger pointing at my face and asked me to get out of his way. The second I was assigned to a room, it had red bugs on the bed sheets and linens. When I checked out, I have requested their manager’s contact information but the front desk refused to provide them to me. They have even put my phones on hold last day. Their housekeepers have sent me napkins boxes with open covers even though I requested new ones
