I stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut Beach by IHG with my wife and kid, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. The facilities are outstanding, and the room design is top-notch — you can really tell it was decorated by a skilled architect with great attention to detail. One of the highlights for us was the kids’ playroom — it’s huge, full of activities, and kept our child entertained for hours. This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The combination of comfort, family-friendly facilities, and beautiful design makes it a place we would love to return to. Highly recommended!

Overall, our stay was just okay — not great, not terrible. Pros: The kids’ playgrounds, both indoor and outdoor, are really nice. The location near Fisherman’s Village is very convenient. Cons: The pool is quite small and always crowded. The pool floor is extremely slippery, which makes it unsafe for little kids to walk around. Pool towels are old, and the towel card system is inconvenient — losing a card means a fine. We were fined 2,000 baht because our little girl accidentally peed in the bed. For a family-oriented hotel, I would expect them to have mattress protectors and show more understanding — a hotel that respects itself and its guests shouldn’t handle such situations this way. Also, the “kids eat free” offer is quite limited and doesn’t even include simple items like French fries. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

We had a really nice experience with our kids, 3 & 5. Facilities for the kids are very good. The kids swimming pool, in- and outside playground for the kids an the activities they organise for the kids. Breakfast, a lot of choices, very nice. The included diner is a 3-course dinner that differs per day. We like it, you have the option for western and Thai set-course. We where in building 3, 4th floor. The comments about noise, there is indeed a bit noise. But in my experience this is always the case in Asia because of isolation of the buildings and windows (only 1 glass). We did not have any issue with this. Location is on the beach and Fisherman village boulavard! Would recommend this hotel if you have kids!

The hotel has an excellent location — right on the Fisherman’s Village, with a lovely promenade for walking and beautiful beaches nearby. The property is clean, and the staff are very friendly. They even offered us two extra hours for a late check-out at no charge, which was much appreciated. The hotel facilities are great and very well-suited for families, with several pools and a kids club designed for younger children. We stayed with our 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son, and they both had an amazing time. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with fresh dishes and plenty of options. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded — there was always enough space and a relaxed atmosphere. This is a perfect hotel for families with young children, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for couples without kids or families with older teenagers.
