Pros: *everything is in close proximity - ideal for traveling with small children or physically challenged *very clean pools, rooms, and lobby *great service, friendly and prompt *entertainment team is fun and bilingual (span/eng) *wrist band is room key, so convenient Cons: *food is okay. Cafeteria quality for the most part. Flama was really good, but, otherwise, pretty basic *I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure they heavily water down their liquor. I watched them make a “double” but couldn’t taste it. Ordered drinks all day and never even got a buzz. I wasnt trying to get trashed or anything, but at some point you realize there isn’t really anything in there. *while it’s all-inclusive, they do try to sell to you - even at dinner they came with a cart trying to sell bottles of liquor. Red Bulls are $8. There’s vendors outside the restaurants. *beach service is great, but chairs extend well past the flagged areas for swimming so you can’t always stay near your belongings while swimming. If this had been my first all-inclusive, I probably would have given it five stars. Overall our experience was good, but Valentin Imperial spoiled us with better food and more event-level entertainment.

We stayed at this all-inclusive resort in Cancun as a family of four with a 3-year-old and a 7-month-old, and we had a fantastic experience. Our suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable—perfect for traveling with little ones. The staff truly made our stay memorable. Pedro made the check-in process smooth and welcoming, which set the tone for our whole trip. Esteban went above and beyond—he overheard my husband mention that he missed the coconut ice cream that hadn’t been out for a couple of days, and the next thing we knew, he had some brought over for him. The kids club was another highlight. The girls there were so sweet and welcoming to our daughter. She loved making a bracelet, getting her face painted, and they even gave us coloring sheets that kept her entertained during dinner—such thoughtful touches that made our stay easier and more fun. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a fun, kid-friendly all-inclusive in Cancun.

This resort was a 3 star because there were Lots of fun things for kids to do, and the kids club workers were amazing also a splash area for kids . You can also borrow volleyballs and games at the sports desk.The Sky Bar pool was warm and had jets and your own private little pools with plenty of seating, but service wasn’t great. Erick was rude and wouldn’t make a Coke about 10 mins before opening. Drinks didn’t taste good, and service doesn’t start until 10 AM. Lunch isn’t until 12:30. Arturo at the Sky Bar was awesome and super friendly but eric not so much.The beds were really comfortable, the shower was big, and there were lots of pools to enjoy.The beach was nice, and there were plenty of dinner options. Samuel from breakfast was great! Some staff were fantastic (Samuel, Autro, kids club team), but others like Erick and Jarlin were rude.

A very pleasant resort experience elevated by exceptional staff. My family and I stayed at this property in mid-October, which falls within Cancun’s shoulder season. The resort was calm and relaxed, and overall, our experience was very positive. General Impressions The hotel is exceptionally clean, modern, and stylish, offering a good selection of restaurants serving consistently high-quality food. We reserved a room for four guests, which featured a comfortable sitting balcony and a lovely ocean view. The bathroom was the highlight of the accommodation, with separate shower and toilet areas and a standalone bathtub. The room itself was somewhat compact for four suitcases, though still functional. The minibar was stocked with beer and mini bottles of wine, but no spirits were included. When I inquired about tequila, I was informed it wasn’t available for in-room service. However, as the resort is all-inclusive, I was able to easily get drinks from the bars throughout the day and bring them back to the room to enjoy at no additional cost. Areas for Improvement To preface, our visit occurred during the shoulder season, so the atmosphere and amenities may differ during peak periods. However, it appeared that most resort facilities closed rather early: the pools and game room by 8:00 p.m., bars around 10:00 p.m., and the main lobby bar by 11:00 p.m. After the evening shows or organized activities concluded, there was little available for guests who prefer later-night entertainment. While the all-inclusive package offered good options, many restaurants and bars featured “premium” items—such as Wagyu or tomahawk steaks and higher-end liquors—available only at an additional charge. Although understandable, this tiered pricing slightly diminished the excitement of the standard menu options. Staff members were generally courteous and accommodating, though at times not particularly proactive in enhancing the guest experience. Bartenders occasionally appeared distracted and would serve drinks slightly different from what was ordered. Additionally, arranging restaurant reservations required persistence, as we had to ask several staff members before finding the right point of contact. Exceptional Highlights The entertainment team truly set this resort apart and would be the primary reason I would consider returning. Carlos, Santos, Leon, Ronaldo, and Alex (our breakfast server) — along with several others whose names I regret not noting — consistently went above and beyond. Their enthusiasm, warmth, and dedication transformed our stay from simply enjoyable to genuinely memorable. From engaging us in games and activities to staging impressive evening performances and even teaching our daughters to dance, their efforts were outstanding and deeply appreciated. The beach area also deserves special mention. It was pristine, well-maintained, and offered ample loungers and shaded areas. The resort never felt crowded—either on the beach or by the pool—which may reflect both the timing of our visit and the thoughtful design of the property. Final Thoughts Overall, Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe is a beautiful resort with an appealing mix of style, cleanliness, and comfort. While there is room for improvement in evening entertainment and staff attentiveness, the exceptional efforts of the entertainment team and the quality of the property itself made for a memorable vacation experience.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe. The staff made us feel welcome even prior to our arrival with the concierge team reaching out. They pre-booked our restaurant reservations. All of the restaurants were fantastic along with the wait staff. At Maxal, Chef Oswaldo went above and beyond to provide us with an exceptional experience. He curated a dinner for us that consisted of some of the most delicious meats and vegetables prepared in true Mexican style. The kids club staff were also wonderful. They went above and beyond to entertain our kids. They never wanted to leave. They had so many fun games, arts and crafts, and even a movie night complete with popcorn, chicken nuggets and drinks inside little tents set up at the beach bunch! Pool entertainment was lots of fun with jeopardy and bingo. Husband enjoyed casino night as well! Overall, we were very pleased and will continue to return.
