I will start with the positive, Juan the entertainment man was lovely and my children thought he was great too, he really did stand out as a positive for this hotel. For the price we paid we did expect a budget hotel. This isn’t the problem. At the start of our stay I asked at reception if inflatables were allowed in the pool, the receptionist working that day explained that only swimming aids arm bands and small rubber rings were allowed. So we bought our children a rubber ring each from the onsite shop. They played with these in all 3 pools for the first 3 days no problem. On our fourth day a different life guard was working who came over and shouted at my child for having his rubber ring and said that these were not allowed. I went to speak with the receptionist who said no inflatables were allowed, she proceeded to take me to a pool rules board that didn’t mention inflatables at all. Very confusing and conflicting information provided. My little boy was that upset after being told off that he wouldn’t get in the pool for the rest of the day! If no inflatables are allowed please don’t sell them in the hotel shop or at least put up a sign to say they are not allowed! Honestly the life guard just seemed to want to stop anyone having fun, he even confiscated the ball provided by the entertainment team for the game of waterpolo. The rooms were basic but clean, however when I pulled out a plug one evening and the socket came off the wall exposing wires I was alarmed. I went to reception and was told that maintenance had gone home and I would have to wait until the following day. I didn’t think this was an acceptable response in the interest of health and safety especially when young children were staying in the room. After showing my upset a house keeper can and shoved the socket back in, this didn’t fill me with confidence.

We stayed at Bluesea in October for a family break. The rooms were quite outdated, and the pool was extremely cold, which made it hard to enjoy swimming. The food was rather disappointing overall. Breakfast was fine — it’s hard to go wrong with eggs and beans — but dinner left much to be desired. Options were limited to things like plain tomato pasta and overcooked gyros meat. If you’re just looking for somewhere relatively cheap to stay, it’s an acceptable choice. However, if you’re hoping for a cosy, comfortable hotel where you’ll enjoy spending time indoors, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Price-wise, it’s fair for what you get — just don’t expect high-quality food or modern rooms at this rate. The beach and shops are about a 10–20 minute walk away, which is manageable but not right on the doorstep.

I stayed 1 week at the hotel the food and the rooms was very poor. They could do better. Maybe update the rooms put some air con in and new curtains. I could not open the windows because there was no catch for them . The food was very poor no choice really if you like fish you will be fine . The entrainment staff Juan who works solo was absolutely brilliant does an amazing job and very friendly. Over all stay because of Juan was very good .

Just finished our 7 day stay at the blue sea gardens. It's been a truly wonderful stay in Costa Teguise, and the hotel has been great too. The entertainment has been great! The pool's got a really nice vibe and the room was clean. The only downside was it got pretty hot there and the fan didn't seem very strong, so we just left the door open to cool down. Breakfast was really good and the drink selection was amazing. The transport links to the towns were all close by, and the staff were super friendly.
