Excellent hotel in a spectacular setting; expect to get what you paid for. Details in design and in service. Service is the best part; prompt, polite and professional. Large pool(s). Nicely served and well supervised. Kids club is an added value, well equipped and again well served. F&B are up to expectations. Tried Zala and Vivine. Breakfast is great; variety yet not overwhelming. Consistency would be more appreciated- (quality of olive oil and smoked king fish was not as the first day). Room service is excellent- suitable for an evening dinner in the terrace (especially if you have kids). We skipped the “spectacle”- but it did not escape us- music, noise and lights were quite audible and visible up till 10pm- would have loved to have a bit more quiet starry night at the terrace, but you don’t get it all. Perhaps another unit that is not so close to the spectacle grounds would have allowed for that- I will check and let you know next stay. Overall 10/10 for expectations and general category in the region- particularly service and staff and cleanliness!

We had the most unforgettable stay at Bab Al Shams – it truly felt like stepping into another world. The entire resort is breathtaking, with beautiful architecture, stunning desert surroundings, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you instantly relax. The dinner show was absolutely spectacular and the food across all the different restaurants was excellent. Our room was elegant and comfortable, and the whole property felt like a dream. The pool was also perfect – the water temperature made it the best place to cool down and spend time. A big thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay even more special: • Hussain Gurung for his outstanding service at the restaurant – attentive, warm, and professional. • Mimi, who gave me an incredible hot stone massage – truly one of the best spa experiences I’ve had. • Sudheesh, the super friendly golf cart/buggy driver who always greeted us with a smile and brought us everywhere we needed to go. • And Ismael, who made our desert safari an unforgettable adventure. He not only guided us through the dunes but also took beautiful photos that we will treasure forever. Bab Al Shams is a magical place that we will always remember – and we can’t wait to come back!

Had a really lovely breakfast at Bab Al Shams. The food was fresh and tasty, and the place has such a calm, relaxing vibe. A big thank you to Mr. Molda for being so kind and attentive, he made the experience even better. Definitely a great way to start the day, he even invited us to come back and try their brunch buffet.

Excellent entertainment and quite a wow factor to bring your guests from over seas! Bab Al Shams is a new favourite! The service is also out standing, the staff all knew us by name, the chef personally made sure that I got the best food while navigating an allergy. The was a fire show, belly dancers, live music, horse and camel riding, a falcon display, and a live theatre performance including animals and sword fighting! Really 10 out of 10.

It was mid-August when we visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and what better place to spend such a special occasion than at her favorite destination — Bab Al Shams. The resort is truly calming, a perfect place to relax, unwind, and reflect. From the moment we entered the lobby, we were welcomed by familiar faces — the same wonderful team we met on our very first visit. Their genuine warmth instantly made us feel at home. Special thanks to Kumar for always taking care of our luggage and sharing pleasant conversations. At reception, we were greeted with warm smiles as always, and we are especially grateful to Miss Trish for her kind assistance. My wife and kids truly adore her, and we deeply appreciate the extra effort she made to ensure my wife’s birthday was unforgettable. Our room was perfect — we loved it! Thank you to Abdallah from in-room dining for delivering our meals with a cheerful smile despite the summer heat. Breakfast at Zala was, as always, excellent. A heartfelt thank you to Yasar, Tarika, Warren, and the rest of the team for surprising my wife with a birthday cake and song — she was touched and overjoyed by your thoughtful gesture. The pool was wonderful even in the summer heat. We are grateful to the lifeguards for keeping a watchful eye on the kids and doing their jobs so diligently. When we returned to our room, it was spotless and beautifully arranged — thank you Rameez for your excellent service. Strolling around the resort in the evening, we were once again reminded of how magical Bab Al Shams is — a place where you can connect with nature while being cared for by such a dedicated and welcoming team. We had a truly memorable stay, and we look forward to returning soon. Thank you, Bab Al Shams, for creating yet another beautiful memory for our family!
