What a lovely hotel resort in the heart of Bangkok. Stayed here for 3 nights before moving on to Koh Samet. Wonderful staff, lovely food, great rooms, comfy beds and a boat shuttle to take you into the city. The riverside bar is a beautiful place to spend time either before dinner or after, loved it here. There are lots of staff that are always ready to help with any issue, you just have to ask. The concierge service(big thanks to Diamond G and colleagues) was amazing! Planned a wonderful day trip for us which was not on our agenda, taking in the train market, floating markets and elephants park. marvelous! Need a cab? Just ask. Need help out and about, just give them a call. Front desk helped with a travel adapter, and room was cleaned and tidied every day to a high standard. We didn't use all the many facilities, but they looked great. Loads of restaurants which were lovely too! I'll shut up now! 😃🙏

Despite the hotel being a bit vintage, Anantara Riverside Bangkok has its own charm. The location is great — right next to a mall with plenty of food choices, which makes everything so convenient. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional service from Aut from the concierge/bell team. Not only did he take great care of my luggage upon arrival, but he also went the extra mile when my Grab food delivery arrived while I was out — he personally made sure it was safely received and informed me. That level of attention and kindness is rare and truly appreciated. His warm hospitality perfectly represents the genuine kindness of Thai people. Because of him, I’ll definitely be back to stay here again. Kapunkap 🪷

I had a good stay here and really appreciated the warm hospitality from the staff, especially the reception team, their friendliness truly reflects Thai culture. The arrangement process before my trip was generally smooth, though there were a few hiccups with the airport pick-up that could be improved for a smoother arrival. The room was comfortable but didn’t quite match the luxurious image shown in the advertisements. The amenities were standard, and the soundproofing could be better, I could hear noise from Avani+ several times during the night, which affected my sleep on my first night. Subsequently nights were ok. Overall, I had a nice stay. Some improvements in soundproofing, breakfast service on first day was slow, and room quality would make the experience even better. I also appreciated the convenient boat service to Sathorn Pier, ICONSIAM, and River City Bangkok, a great perk for guests staying by the river. Personally this hotel offer an escape from the busy Bangkok and you can enjoy some quite stay here.

Dear Anantara Riverside Team, I just wanted to sincerely thank you for making our stay so special. I had an incredible experience at Anantara! The staff, from the doormen to the security team to the breakfast attendants, were all outstanding. Every time I passed by a member of the staff, they greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly "hello." It was clear that everyone truly loves their job, and their positive attitude made a big difference in my stay. A special shoutout to Jasmine, the nanny at the kids' club. She was absolutely amazing, and my kids absolutely adored her. Her warmth and care made their time at the club extra special. A special thanks to the chef (P Beer or Bank), I might get his name wrong . who went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter’s allergies with such care and attention — it gave us so much peace of mind. The Kasara Lounge team (Muse, May, Mo and Dada and others) also deserves special recognition for their kindness and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. We truly felt looked after, and it made our time at Anantara Riverside unforgettable. Thank you again for everything you did for our family. We are very grateful and will always remember your exceptional hospitality.

A quick stay and unfortunately bad weather so didn’t show the hotel in the best light. Very very friendly and helpful concierge wearing traditional outfits (think he was head concierge). Really makes a difference with such warm service. All the team were so well trained to say hello and offer help when needed. Thai Dancing was a nice touch and the musician was so sweet. A credit to the hotel. Beautiful design throughout the hotel with lots of character and I think in sunny weather, the pool and other spaces would be amazing. Showing its age in parts. Nice pub/bar on the ground floor. It was great to have activities but they need to replace the dart board - terrible condition and cheap and easy fix. Pool table is fun (although uneven with a roll) and the staff behind the bar were also nice. Overall, worth staying and a good hotel. Just needs a little more attention to detail in places, which I appreciate is not easy with a big property. Thank you 😊
