We had a great family stay here. Garden view room was a good size with good bed linen and comfy bedding. The towels are not great- a big worn. The soap and shampoos are terrible so bring your own. Great activities for kids and families. Did the all inclusive and we enjoyed the variety, a good offering of fish, salad, red meat and curry. The fresh build your own salad had a lot of those mini-fruit flies which isn’t my best. Good gluten free offering. Yea and coffee not the best. A choice of 7 or 8 restaurants, we lived the chicken wraps available at the street food kiosks. Great beach section, very friendly staff, I am sure we will be back. Madam Ming restaurant was great.

We had our team building event at the hotel last Saturday, and it was an enjoyable experience. The venue was lovely and we received a warm welcome from Emilie and Jean Daniel - event Manager. The team building activities were well organized and led by Kevin, who brought great energy and enthusiasm. The games were fun and engaging. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch. Special thanks to Santosh, our waiter who was kind and attentive. After lunch, we continued with more bonding time and Kevin once again entertained us but this time with his singing and ravane performance. Overall, it was memorable and well coordinated event that strengthen our team spirit.

We spent a fantastic 7 nights here and all had a great time. We were a family of 22 ranging in age from 9 to over 60 and all had the best time here, there was a genuine family feel and something for everyone. Rooms were a great size and kept clean throughout. The grounds and facilities were well maintained, everything looks really pretty.The pools were kept clean daily. The Spa was truly relaxing and several of us returned after the first visit, the ladies there are very friendly. Buffet food offered a huge variety daily and the booked restaurant meals were delicious, definitely worth trying. The little snack vans provided fresh snacks daily, perfect if chilling on the beach. Daily entertainment schedule throughout the day and evening was fun and most of our group joined various activities. Updated on the board by Mozaik daily, worth joining in. Boathouse staff were fantastic and even put on an extra glass bottom boat tour to accommodate our group. Huge variety of drinks included and the coffee from the bazaar was great quality. The staff worked really hard to keep our large group happy for the whole time. Any small issues we reported were dealt with quickly and appropriately. Thanks to the whole team, the ones I remember by name that stood out most were Roma, the lady nicknamed "Supplement", Kreshan, Raju, Maeva, Kevin, Annishka, chef Joshua, the other tall chef in Madame Ming and all the staff that worked there, the 2 ladies doing the eggs on the buffet every morning also. You all work so hard and do a fantastic job, we appreciated all your efforts. I highly recommend this place for the location, facilities, value for money and atmosphere.

Amazing place for a stay, EOY party or team building events. The place looks great and feels great. Lots of areas to walk around explore, hang out n chill near the beach. Lots of sea and land activities to keep your days filled with fun. Food is okay not as great as I'd hoped but they offer nice variety and good desserts. I'd give it a 4.5.

I recently went to our team building event held at the Ravenala Attitude Hotel, and it was fantastic ! From the moment we arrived, the staff specifically, Emilie and Jean Daniel greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that instantly set the tone for a memorable experience. Our team building hosted by Kevin made the experience at the hotel outstanding ! The highlight was the engaging and well-organized team building activities, which sparked laughter, collaboration, and lasting memories. Moreover, Santosh served us really well during the lunch, which was great. From impeccable service and delicious meals to a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere, everything was thoughtfully executed. A perfect blend of professionalism and fun! Highly recommend !

Amazing stay at Zilwa Attitude!! Spent 2 nights there and from the moment we arrived to when we left, we felt relaxed and welcomed. All the staff were very friendly and courteous. Food was delicious, great and large choice at all restaurants. From Jovanni and all the restaurant staff, Arvin and all the bar staff and Taba-J without exception, were always attentive and went out of their ways to give us an outstanding service Room was very clean and comfortable and view was nice. Hotel in general is very clean Our only disappointment was that some of the water activities, like snorkelling and glass bottom boat, got cancelled. We were really looking forward to it, specially our kid, and it would have been one of the most enjoyable part of our stay. Thanks to Zilwa Attitude team for a beautiful time. Wow!! What an amazing 2 weeks we had in the Zilwa Attitude hotel. From the moment we walked in and saw the breath taking views, we were cared for. It's the small thoughtful touches such as a welcome drink and cold towel, flowers on the bed, refilling of your favourite drink, meaningful conversations with new friends, that really make it so special. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. Our room was thoroughly cleaned daily and our belongings were thoughtfully and careful placed away neatly. We ate at every restaurant twice in our time there and were blown away each time. The facilities and grounds are stunning and very well cared for. We love how sustainable the hotel is, they even have fabric bin liners in the rooms as to not waste plastic. We took a snorkeling trip out with Daniel, he saw a plastic bottle floating in the sea, he stopped to collect it before carrying on. Truly it is so encouraging to be able to travel and stay with a company who care so deeply. But as always, it's the people who make it. Every single member of zilwa Attitude was incredible, kind, caring, attentive, game for a laugh, interested to the point of remembering conversations from previous days. Again, wow! Please do go and experience this slice of paradise. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Zilwa, from the bottom of our hearts for giving us an amazing 2 weeks honeymoon in Mauritius.

Honestly, words and photos don’t do Attitude Zilwa justice. From the moment we walked into reception and saw that view, we knew this place was something special. Every single staff member was so friendly, warm, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. We stayed in a family room, which was spacious, quiet, and spotless — the housekeeping team did an amazing job. The whole resort is stunning and so well looked after, from the gardens to the beaches. The food was incredible — especially for vegans! The vegan sausages and mock chicken curry were highlights, and every restaurant was fantastic. Thanks to Ashley at the drinks bar and Olanike at the main bar — they were both so lovely and welcoming every time. I also loved the resort’s focus on sustainability and supporting locals — refill stations, plant-based options, and a real sense of community. One of the most magical moments was a sunrise boat ride with Desi, a local gentleman who took just my wife and me out on his boat. Paying him directly in cash made it even nicer knowing it went straight to him. And a special mention to Jessica at the spa, who was amazing and made the experience so relaxing. Everything about this place was perfect — the right level of busy, great vibe, and pure paradise from start to finish. It’s going to be hard for any other hotel to top this.

It's an amazing location, beautiful lagoon, only waIst high. Little trip to the island for a BBQ. variety of food on offer, don't miss the Thai and Indian. It's a shame there isn't much local fish on offer in the buffet. We went to the 7 cascade, advertised as a hike, beware its not a hike. You will need good pair of shoes. Climbing, ascending and descending over rocks, negotiating trees and slippery. The hotel itself has amazing views, staff are friendly and helpful. Be warned mini fridge is empty. You have to collect your own supply for mini fridge, some items are not free. Evening entertainment was good mixture of cultural music and dance. Beautiful island.

Zilwa is a true paradise! We loved everything about our 10 night stay. The hotel is set in beautiful lush-green grounds, leading to a series of lovely beaches and spectacular views over the lagoon to the islands beyond, Everything is easily on hand, and close to the rooms. Where to start with the amenities - the infinity pool is wonderful with its views over the ocean, the beach is secluded and peaceful and the restaurants are exceptional. In terms of food, everything is so fresh with such variety on offer. We tried the Indian, Thai and Mauritian themed restaurants in addition to the buffet meals and nothing disappointed. Alongside plenty of time to relax there are a wide range of activities on offer from table tennis to volleyball and a well-equipped gym, kayaking, pedalos and incredible snorkeling only a short boat ride away. A boat trip to nearby Grand Zil island, to enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch, is a must. The spa is in a beautiful setting and and the treatments are well worth the money. The staff are warm and friendly and really make you feel special on your holiday. A particular mention for the waiting staff in the buffet restaurant who covered the area in front of Tadka, Olanike who served us drinks in the bar each evening and Rawat who brought us drinks and food on the beach – nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Our interconnecting rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and a terrace with sea view. The concept of being able to choose what and how much you have in your room in terms of tea, coffee and other drinks is such a great idea. We wanted to take the opportunity to explore other parts of this beautiful country and using the taxis associated with the hotel made this affordable, straightforward and stress free, as well as personalized to what we wanted. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and very much hope to return one day.

The hotel is nothing short of amazing. - food is incredible. All restaurants are great, even the buffet which has themed nights (Arabic, Italian, Pan Asian, etc) with the highness quality food. - the service is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, they are super accommodating - we travelled as a family and they were super child friendly. Equally, when we left our daughter in the kids club, the adults pool was quiet and lovely. - the kids club does great activities - fishing, crab hunt, henna tattoos, you name it. It is the first time ever my daughter wants to stay and keeps asking to return - the beach is wonderful, they have a very big stretch of sand and lots of water sports are available (complimentary) which was great fun in the lagoon - the private island is only 5 minutes away and it is such a quiet, wonderful place. Highly recommend it and we will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect. The service was amazing, the whole resort was truly beautiful and the private island was one of a kind. We felt relaxed throughout the entire stay, no fighting for sun beds. All staff were really warm and friendly, from the moment we arrived till the end of our stay. The private island was a pleasant suprise. We knew about the island but didn't expect it to be so beautiful with great food and service. Whenever we sat down somewhere staff came by with water and towels (if there weren't any already). We tried all of the restaurants and really enjoyed it. We also stayed at St. Regis, and it became extra clear how great the service at Shangri-La was. We would love to come back, highly recommended.

To be honest - what a lovely hotel. It is definitely 5 stars plus! The location is wonderful the staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are great. They prepared a little birthday present for my wife for free and gave us an upgrade to a Suite with direct beach access. Let’s face it - it’s definitely one of the best hotels in the country and if you have the chance to stay you would do so.

We absolutely loved our stay at this breathtaking resort. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm, genuine, and unforgettable – truly the epitome of hospitality. Shangri-La Le Touessrok managed to excel in every way and completely stole our hearts. Special gratitude goes to Dass, our host, Heeru and Pooran at the restaurant, and Sonam Tatur from the Sales team – true hospitality heroes who made our experience extraordinary. Of course, Mauritius guarantees sunshine, blue seas, and pristine white sands, but what sets Shangri-La apart is the attention to detail, genuine care, and world-class service. We especially loved Coco’s, where dining by the beach with panoramic sea views was pure magic. The Indian fine dining experience at Safran was another highlight – chic design, outstanding service, and food that still lingers in my memory (the king prawn dish was divine!). The resort offers endless opportunities to explore, including their exclusive private island with its own restaurant – the prawn linguine there was out of this world. Every moment left us feeling spoiled, cared for, and completely at ease. This was without a doubt the highlight of our stay on the East Coast of Mauritius. 🌴✨♥️

Absolute Paradise – A Honeymoon to Remember at LUX Grand Gaube* Our honeymoon at LUX Grand Gaube* was pure perfection from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty — every single detail was thought of, and the service was second to none. The food was absolutely outstanding, especially the buffet, which offered an incredible variety and quality every day. We also loved dining at Bodrum, INTI, and Creole Smokehouse — each with its own atmosphere, delicious cuisine, and exceptional service. A special mention to Yasser and Durgesh, who went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome — always warm, friendly, and attentive. The views were breathtaking — the turquoise water and mountains across the bay made every moment feel picture-perfect. Evenings were just as special, with lovely entertainment that added to the ambience without ever disturbing the relaxed, romantic atmosphere. Our honeymoon extras made the stay even more magical — from a soothing massage at the spa to a private honeymoon breakfast, canapés, and dinner that felt truly intimate and memorable. My partner and I stayed at the LUX Grand Gaube Hotel for one night (22–23 August) in Superior Room 2119. The hotel is beautiful with a peaceful tropical setting. The ambience was lovely and the reservation staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately our experience was affected by a serious issue in the room. The toilet was completely unable to flush, which created a big mess and made the stay very uncomfortable. We reported it twice, but no one came to fix it. For a 5-star hotel, this was extremely disappointing and not what we expected after paying a premium price. It left us regretting the stay. We were just waiting to leave the hotel. Imagine a woman unable to the toilet and required to use the public toilet outside. The breakfast buffet was just average. The hotel does offer great amenities like pool, beach access and beautiful surroundings but basic maintenance and service responsiveness need serious improvement. Overall the property is beautiful but our experience didn’t reflect the 5-star promise.

We had a lovely stay here for our honeymoon. Ashwan Yosra and Shayma have been so lovely with my wife as she was taken ill. They were all so courteous and so kind which is rare. Even though sometimes things have been not in order, whenever I have called reception to ask for things, they have been so attentive and receptive. Although sometimes service can be irregular it’s completely understandable given the size of the hotel. Some staff are kinder than others but that is what you’ll get anywhere. Half board is the way to go. The views are stunning and everything being halal is such a big plus. Beach Rouge for dinner is severely underrated for dinner and it’s always nearly empty. Bodrum blue is very good. The breakfast is outstanding and Zareen at the omelette station was lovely. Make sure to book the excursion to the northern islands as well! The islands are incredible and movie-like. Overall, a very good stay.

Well quiet romantic hotel , with a beautiful ocean view . Staff are amazing and welcoming, especially Mr.Jean one of the staff receptionist he welcomed us even we have arrived late in the night and directed us to the room and explained everything to us. and Mr.Durgesh in Hotel Breakfast section, very helpful person and our child liked him. The hotel is worth staying as we felt most welcomed, relaxed and very helpful staff.

Our visit was on 22-26 September, We stayed at 1202 Villa with a private pool, booked a king bedroom, with a sofa bed for my kids. The rooms and toilet are spacious and very clean. The friendly staff and assistants (especially Mr. Mahen and Mr. Kumar) were supportive and they definitely made our stay an amazing experience. They clean twice a day and bring complimentary food and a bottle drink at around 5-6 pm each day. My kids enjoyed the resort, and they have kids club with wonderful staff and a safe place to let them loose. They also have a sport centers, that have tennis, Playstation, billiards, chess, jenga.. And a small sitting area to watch soccer on tv. Our package includes half board, so, we tried the breakfast and the dinner buffet served at mondo is very delicious and we cannot get enough of it and the beat choice for kids. The beach rouge (Italian-seafood restaurant) is good, too. I totally recommend this place for families. And definitely worth a second visit.

First of all, the hotel is absolutely gorgeous – it feels so luxurious and special from the moment you arrive. The restaurants are outstanding; we particularly loved Amari and the Duck Laundry, and the Lux coffee bar quickly became a favorite. Billal and Krishnan make fantastic coffee, and they are such a pleasure to chat with – knowledgeable, friendly, and a real credit to your team. Above all, it’s the staff who truly make this hotel shine. Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and attentive. It was clear to us why you have so many returning guests – the service is exceptional, and the people are what really set the experience apart.

Paradise Cove is in a beautiful location and the hotel compliments it perfectly! So stylish in all aspects of design and attention to detail! The rooms, the service, the food are all excellent. What I loved is that even though it was full it never feels it, plenty of places to find sunbeds, pools and places to sit without been crowed! It offers entertainment most evenings which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend it but also take a trip outside the hotel to see some of the Island, to easy just to stay here!

This hotel is paradise on earth. We did a tremendous amount of research before ending our African vacation in Mauritius. The hotel is approximately an hour and 15 minutes from the airport. The room we stayed in, which was beachfront, was beautiful. The staff are beyond attentive. The butlers that we had were Garry, Lovi & Sharmila. They were amazing. The beach is gorgeous. The beds are very comfortable and abundant, so you do not have to race out at 8 o’clock in the morning to claim them. Vicky was our pool attendant & was amazing. The restaurants have delicious food. The sunsets were second to none. It truly was an exceptional getaway.

Had an amazing stay at the St Regis for our honeymoon! The resort is on a beautiful piece of land, and everything is top notch. My wife and I had a couples massage with Ayesha and Vandana and we both agreed it was the best massage we have gotten. On our last day, our flight was cancelled, and in short order, the staff enabled us to stay in our room for another night, and worked with the airline to cover the stay at no charge to us. Priya at reception worked miracles, and we could not speak more highly of this property.

The kite surfing club is next door, very convenient for us. The game room was game changer with 2 teens, they spent most of their time having fun. A big big thanks to Winley & Airis. The cuisines were delectable! Specially Indya & Atsuko, food heaven. Lucinda, Nikki, Ryan, Ashwina, Mai Tai very happy to have met you guys. Top notch service! We did appreciate a lot Tej from the butler service, he went above & beyond to make us feel welcome & comfortable. Last but certainly not least, Our suite was blissfully comfortable, a relaxing retreat. The bed was heavenly, very well organized by the housekeeping. Such a delight to get into a super clean & refresh room after a day on the beach. Our heartfelt thanks to Sana, her daily presence made a huge difference. She rolled out the red carpet! Thank you so so much Sana. (My kids miss her). 😇 Hemraj, Trinita were so nicee. They made sure the room is super comfy for us. We miss Mauritius so much, specially the people we met recently. We will definitely come back.

Pure paradise! My wife and I stayed at The St. Regis Mauritius Resort for our honeymoon, and it was an experience we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, the team pulled out all the stops to make us feel special. The service was truly unmatched—warm, attentive, and genuine in every interaction. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, with incredible ocean views, beautifully designed suites, and a sense of peace and luxury everywhere you turn. Two highlights stand out: our couples massage, which was pure relaxation in the most serene setting, and our private beach dinner on our final night. A huge thank you to Ratesh, who went above and beyond to make that evening so memorable—it was the perfect way to end an amazing week in Mauritius. We’re already dreaming about coming back. The St. Regis Mauritius set the bar for what a luxury resort experience should be.

Amazing honeymoon stay at The Ritz! Great sea view rooms with plenty of sun beds in one row across the hotel beach. Nice clear water with plenty of fish for snorkelling and lots of water sports activities offered daily as part of the hotel. Special mention to our butler Ravi who made our honeymoon experience so special and was very attentive to all details. Also Donavan from the water sports activities and Sajeet from the floating market restaurant made our experience memorable!

The most important aspect of LUX Le Morne is its location. The views here are stunning, especially the mountain itself. So is the ocean in this area and the beach nearby LUX is clean in comparison with other beach areas. Rooms here are well maintained, spacious and cozy. You can find a well equipped gym (considering the fact that is a hotel gym). Also, SPA deserved a recommendation. The masseuses actually do know what they’re doing and that is not very common in resorts’ SPA. Food is not bad, yet I wouldn’t recommend coming without any package because prices are ridiculously high and none of those meals are worth its price. Tere are also three other restaurants, not included in any package which is not understandable. As far as I’m concerned, a major issue of this place is a chaotic (although very kind) service staff. I’ve lost the track of times I was served coffee with wrong milk - for which one may wait more than 30 minutes. Tables in the main restaurant were often uncleaned even though there were very few people. Similarly at the beach, where orders often happen to be incomplete. Basically, the guests must be rather patient with their requests.

We went for our honeymoon and couldn't have chosen a better hotel. The rooms are very nice, the bed is super comfortable. The service and food are excellent, the breakfasts are very good, with some details that make the difference. It's the only hotel I've been to that offers protein shakes. Spa is also very nice, massages were amazing. The beach is very beautiful, and so are the pools. 100% recommended. Great location for those who want to practice kitesurfing !

We only experienced " the restaurent ". Other restaurents needed reservations and lack of vegetarian options in these restauents was a disappointment. The villas are really nice. Good size private pool. The amenities in the room are really good. The theme of the resort is suitable. The complimentary water activities are good, the kayak , glass boot ,.. the breakfast is mix of buffet and Al card and it is really tasty. The service everywhere is amazing. The facilities such as fitness center, swimming pools are really good. The resort is close to the island north attractions and the capital. Best place to be! We have spent 10 days at The Oberoi Beach Resort and we enjoyed it so much! The rooms are great: super clean, comfortable bed, plenty of space, very nice bathroom and the view is stunning! The restaurants do a great job: food is freshly prepared and very delicious, the drinks are super refreshing! The menu’s are for every taste. They are super flexible and ensure your taste preference and needs are met. We especially enjoyed the Restaurant ‚On The Rocks‘! The pools and beaches do invite you to relax and linger. The whole hotel complex with the beautiful garden is so well maintained and blends in very nicely with the nature of Mauritius - so much love and passion to details! The entire hotel team, from reception, over waiters to the housekeeping team and gardeners are outstanding: they are living pure hospitality & care, ensuring you have the best time with them! A special call out to Amanda, Mevin, Yash and Solomon, which absolutely exceeded our expectations! We thank the entire team for making our stay unforgettable! From check-in to check-out, every moment was exceptional. The food was simply incredible – the curries in particular were sublime. Do yourself a favour and don’t leave without trying one! The breakfast buffet has everything you could want including beautifully baked pastries and a great selection of breads all freshly made. On our last morning, the chef even prepared a special Indian breakfast just for us. We loved the daily complimentary “adult experiences” – henna painting, rum tasting and even a cooking class! Days on the beach were made extra special with attentive touches: fresh iced water, chilled facecloths, refreshing spritzer sprays and the surprise arrival of a sugar cone ice cream! The staff are highly trained, incredibly polite and move around so discreetly. Led by the fantastic GM, Aditya Pandey, every team member went above and beyond – from Sunita (cooking class chef) and Antish (housekeeping) to Arpit, Mevin in the restaurant and so many others whose names we sadly can’t list but whose kindness we’ll never forget. Leaving this place makes me feel incredibly sad!

I don't normally do reviews unless something has gone really well or badly wrong and in this case it was the former - we had a wonderful stay here. This is not a chain and you really got that feeling of individuality from your arrival. I've had some bad experiences communicating with staff via WhatsApp before (ahem Mandarin Marrakech) but here you were consistently connected to your butler rather than a call centre and this really worked well. The accommodation itself was stunning, we looked at all top Mauritius hotels for private beachside villas and went for this one, we weren't disappointed. The beach and the view over La Morne are also absolutely gorgeous and it also feels very private. One big thing we noticed was that the staff worked as a team, they communicated well and genuinely seemed happy to work together and at the hotel (a good number have been here from the beginning in 2005), this definitely adds to the level of service. During a long stay inevitably a couple of issues come up, but they were dealt with quickly and professionally. And overall they went absolutely above and beyond on the thoughtfulness and generosity to all our requests. Most of all the holiday was relaxing (even with 2 kids under 4) due to the environment, facilities and service. Congratulations to the team and a shout out to Vijay & Romain for the BBQ night and of course our butler Vikram. We will come back!

This place exceeded all our expectations. We booked Maradiva for the last leg of our trip in Mauritius, and it has been incredible. The service and hospitality from everyone from the very moment we stepped in has been amazing. Special shoutout to Vij, our butler, who answered every question and request rapidly, to the head of housekeeping who greeted us every morning with the warmest welcome and to the man who showed us around when we first arrived who kickstarted the warm hospitality we experienced throughout. We have had the most relaxing time. The villa itself is beautiful and done exquisitely. There are also plenty of activities included, such as wakeboarding, snorkelling, and cycling. Thank you, Maradiva. It’s been absolutely amazing.

It is a mixed opinion to start with. As a property, it is very nice. Rooms are spacious, well appointed and pools are heated. Kids club is great, views are good, beach is lovely and location is great. Also, we booked 3 villas and they were kind enough to upgrade one of our villas. Service is certainly below the expectations for a five star resort rated of 9.4 on booking. Food: quality of food is average, but the service in the main restaurant on the breakfast is hilarious. The whole breakfast is an a la cart menu even if you need a slice of cucumber you need to order it and wait for 10-15 minutes to get it, even there is no cold corner for chests, fruit slices or bread. We are a family of 7, during our stay we never had our breakfast served together and it is normal that part of the order for the same person to come at different times or even after you finish, thanks to Gavin who was the best team member. Stray animals, you should expect to see cats and dogs. My daughter and my minor son were stranded in their villa next the pool when a stray dog sneaked in. For about 20-30 minutes there was no help from our butler or the security guards to kick him out until one of the concierge team was passing by and he helped us. When, I raised a complaint to the hotel manager himself, his answer lacked sympathy (which is the only thing a guest would require in this case) he did not even ask if my kids are safe, he simply said “ I am sorry we never had this issue before and I will look at it”. Next day we found another dog on the beach. !!!! In conclusion, the property is amazing but the service is below average. The hotel seems to me good for couples or small families but for larger groups you should expect service hiccups.

Maradiva Resort is truly the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed at! It was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. The facilities were amazing, and the hospitality from the staff was incredibly impressive. On the day we arrived, we took a walk along the beach and met the supervisor, Veen — he was so kind and welcoming! Thank you for helping us create such precious memories. We’re leaving with our hearts full of happiness. If we ever return, we’ll definitely choose Maradiva again!

We are fairly frequent visitors to this property. We were at one of the new villas, which was absolutely amazing. They have been built to a really high standard and they are a short walk from the resort. I find they offer a lot more privacy than the standard rooms, not to mention the fact that they are much larger than a standard suite. To us they are much better value for our money The food in the property is also very tasty. Breakfast is the highlight. I am surprised they haven't been able to set up a michelin star yet. Their recreational facilities for adults is very very comprehensive from luxury yacht cruises to kayaking to hiking to yoga classes to heli rides to tennis lessons. Simply incredible For all the facilities for adults, the kids club is one department which is surely lacking. There _is_ is a kids club but with unmotivated/distracted/low energy staff in charge of the kids club, very few children's activities, and low amount of proactiveness I think this is one aspect the hotel absolutely to get right if it wants to get to the level of soneva fushis of the world. Having a stimulating kids club is vital for the adults to have a good time.

Simply the best. Mauritian hospitality at its finest. A hotel that goes over and above to ensure you have a ‘one and only’ holiday experience . Our children love the complementary waterskiing, snorkelling trips, multi cuisine buffet, diving and golf. We love the rooms, view, padel, food, gym and friendly atmosphere. Riva opened this year, a set of private homes attached to the hotel which you can enjoy as a hotel guest too. If you like an Ibiza esque vibe, elevated by the Mauritian culture and great Italian food then you must visit for lunch or dinner or just even to popped into the on site deli. There is a reason we keep coming back, year after year, and that is because they keep working hard to make you feel special - a home from home. Thank you Nitish, Eric, Mick and so many other people; we will see you next year.

I had the worst experience at the property. I went to the property on my way to the airport as I wanted to stop for lunch and don't like the food at airport lounge. At first the security wouldn't let me in saying I needed a reservation to enter. After a bit of convincing they let me know. As I went to the concierge to ask them about the restaurant options they gave me the details that they have 3 restaurants serving lunch then called someone and said "I am sorry we cannot accommodate you as we are running at full occupancy". And I am like are you saying all your guests have occupied all three restaurants right at this time when I am asking for a table for 1. This is not acceptable, the reason they gave is not acceptable. And it was only coz I was not a hotel guest. I was treated as if I was asking for a free meal, I am not going to pay for what I order. It was highly disappointing. I left for the airport directly without eating.

O&O Le Saint Géran is likely the best hotel on the island, which is quite the feat considering all the fantastic properties on Mauritius. I stayed in one of the newly constructed residences and they are fabulous. These villas are all brand new and have everything you could ask for in a private home, with full access to all of the wonderful amenities that the hotel offers. The multiple restaurants are all fantastic, the spa is stunning, and there is no limit to the activities you can partake in - like scuba, tennis, water sports, etc. The east coast of Mauritius is more sparse than the east and north, but at a hotel like O&O, you’ll have plenty to do on site. I recommend splitting time between here for rest and relaxation, and another, more lively part of the island for exploration.

This hotel is absolutely perfect. We booked a few days here to celebrate my baby turning 1 and the hotel outdid itself, especially our host Ma’in. He went above and beyond with such kindness and attentiveness, he instantly felt like family. The facilities are excellent, and even on a rainy day there are tho gas to do. I would highly recommend the kids club, they have something for all ages. My baby was in the baby room and it was equipped perfectly with ample room for her to move around! The breakfast staff are excellent and so efficient. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all.

Almost everything about this hotel is world-class. The public areas of the hotel are stunning, and there is a real sense of peace, privacy and tranquility. The vast majority of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly, service-orientated, genuine, and highly competent. The food and drink offerings are superb, and the all-inclusive package is very extensive. Based on these factors, the price tag would absolutely be justified. However, there is a huge, glaring issue with this hotel - the rooms themselves. Frankly, these do not come anywhere near the level that the rest of the hotel operates at. They are dated, tired and in absolutely desperate need of refurbishment to reach even the standards of 2015, never mind 2025. The only modern things in the rooms are the TV and the coffee machine - things that can be carried in and require not ‘real’ refurbishment of the rooms. It’s clear that the more ‘colonial’ dark wooden style is part of the vibe that the hotel is going for, which is cool, and it’s what attracted us. However, this is no excuse for not bringing the rooms up to basic standards of 2025, especially given the price tag and the quality of the rooms offered by competitors on the island, and we were rather shocked at a number of things. The most significant aspect of the rooms that all potential guests should be aware of is the presence of all manner of wildlife inside the rooms, and that management accept this as a ‘normal’ aspect of the hotel. If you hate the thought of bugs, spiders, and/or lizards in your room, I guarantee that you will see them here, so think twice before booking. In the first three days, we saw geckos, various bugs, ants, and several pretty large spiders. My wife is severely arachnophobic, so this was a nightmare for her, and meant she couldn’t settle in the room at all. Maybe for some guests this isn’t an issue, but it absolutely was for us, as we were just pretty grossed out and totally unable to relax in a hotel room which we had paid a substantial amount of money to relax in. It got to the point where we spent as much time as possible outside of the room because we just didn’t want to be in it. Housekeeping, and later management, were very responsive when we raised this, so this is absolutely no criticism of them - far from it. We were upgraded to a villa, a much more expensive room, which was massively appreciated and totally unexpected. However, whilst we didn’t see any more spiders, this (incredibly expensive!) room also sadly had several insect infestations, notably in the bathroom. On the last morning, I woke up to find ants crawling over my pillow, and also my toothbrush, which was quite disgusting, but at this point, it was really too late to mention anything directly. We were often told ‘Mauritius is a tropical island, so this is normal’. Whilst I am somewhat sympathetic and would expect to see the odd ant or even spider in the room, it is the frequency with which different insects and animals found their way into both rooms we stayed in which clearly suggests that there is a problem here. We had recently arrived from a competitor hotel and saw literally nothing in our rooms. I have also visited multiple tropical countries and I have never experienced such an invasion of wildlife into the hotel rooms - even when staying at resorts a fraction of the cost of the Constance. I don’t know whether this problem is due to the older, poorly sealed rooms, or related to pest control limitations given the nature reserve the hotel is part of, but it is really not acceptable for a resort of this calibre. If the latter, then the hotel really needs to do a much better job of being explicit about the wildlife to be found inside rooms during the booking process - this would certainly have caused us to think twice before choosing this hotel.

Wow, absolutely spoiled forever by this amazing resort 🤩🤩🤩 Such a beautiful beach and pool area, both with plenty of very comfortable sunbeds embedded greatly in the lush tropical landscape. Everything is super spacious and luxurious. The boat house crew is great and offers a perfect variety of watersports. Very friendly and top quality service level overall with a nice personal and authentic touch - each team member on its own is truly making a positive impact. Big thanks to Vikash our beach manager, we loved your positive and passionated attitude and the incredibly great service - Big shout out! Many thanks to Hurry the manager of the Asian Restauran being an amazing host, let us feel truly welcome and wishless happy. The lagoon restaurant „Barrachois“ is another highlight… as we have been there in July („winter“ - we recommend to bring a light jacket for dinner). Our villa was directly facing the ocean, having a very comfortable bed and I loved the facht that also the balkony door can be opened/locked separately… so you walk directly from your room to the beach. A wish would be a remote control for the AC and electric windowblinds (but we really talk about the last remaining space for a cerry on the cake). The room service is spot on and really clean. The gym, sports and spa-area is great and we are blown away by the friendly and top level front desk crew including the butler service, so incredibly helpful! Many thanks to all of you, we will surely come back!

Our stay at Constance Prince Maurice was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism by the reception team, setting the tone for the rest of our holiday. The exceptional customer service was consistent across the entire property—from the spa and housekeeping to in-room dining. Special mention to the Asian Restaurant, which served some of the best dim sums we’ve had. On the evening of 25 July, when seating was unavailable due to Sushi Night, the F&B Manager went above and beyond to accommodate us at an alternate restaurant and had our preferred dishes from the Asian menu served to our table. This level of personalized care was truly commendable. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the beach access was convenient, and the temperature-controlled pool added an extra touch of luxury to our experience. We also deeply appreciated the hotel’s understanding and compassion when one of our family members had to depart early due to an emergency. The hotel promptly refunded the three unused nights, which we consider a reflection of their integrity and guest-first policy. The only limitation we encountered was the location—while serene and idyllic, the hotel is relatively isolated. There are no restaurants or shopping options nearby, and one would need to travel about an hour by road for such activities. Nonetheless, this does not overshadow the overall excellence of the property and its team. A heartfelt thank you to the hotel management and staff for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely recommend this resort to those seeking relaxation, top-tier service, and natural beauty.

This hotel is a lovely location, on a beautiful beach and setting with pools, a spa and two restaurants (I think a third but it wasn't open). However, it's let down by a bad management process and I wouldn't recommend staying here as it is. Each staff member tries their best but it seems that they have been given set roles and are not allowed to go over and above them. For example, within all inclusive you can order a glass of wine, your server then asks someone to get the bottle from the bar. They walk over there and return with it and place it on a servers table nearby and then your server picks it up to serve it to you. We timed this and it took 7 minutes every time we asked for a drink. One lunchtime we waiting 45 minutes for our food before I asked where it was and our server wasn't aware we hadn't had it yet, we grew to expect long wait times for any food despite it not being busy at all. I highly recommend you AVOID this resort if you have an allergy. We had someone who is celiac (gluten allergy) and the labels on the menus differed between lunch and dinner as to whether some of the same dishes had gluten in or not. Servers brought up dishes and weren't sure if they were safe for her to eat or not. Training needs to be carried out around this to make sure guests feel comfortable and safe. We raised these issues with the hotel whilst there and they tried their best e.g the chef came out to speak about the gluten free options at the start of the meal but the servers were still unaware and we had to ask for the chef each meal (despite management saying everyone was aware). This hotel could be amazing but the process needs an overhaul. The staff seem happy to greet you and enjoy their jobs but are hamped by bad process and are told off if they stray from it (e.g serving a table when it's not theirs). The food was tasty as well and the main restrant menu had a lot of choices of different cuisine. In terms of facilities, the spa was lovely and the classes nice - I had a great massage and singing bowls class. We used the paddle courts as well. There's snorkeling you can do off the beach and things like paddlesboads and kanoes but be aware the bay is very shallow and tidal so you can't do these all the time. The pools were clean. The rooms were right on the beach and there was a bar area for the evening. We were there when there weren't many guests so there wasn't a lot of atmosphere (mid October). I spotted that Shanti Maurice seems to copy and paste the same template reply to all Google messages to it's a shame they won't take this on board.
